Dolphin browser is the fastest.
Yeah...I used both dolphin and the stock browser on my gs3....this chrome really takes the "upgrade" out of the move from the s3 to the n4

I'm the same.
Chrome is very quick on my Nexus 4 and 7.

My chrome is also snappy and fast. No problems
My chrome is fast too. I can't decide which one to use aosp or chrome. Both are so good :x

try to flash some of the older gapps.
Gapps doesn't include stock browser. Stock browser comes bundled with the main rom zip

Chrome has problems with re-rendering pages, with multitasking - even with the 2GB of RAM. Whereas on stock browser (old), the pages are always open :/
Try naked browser it's really fast someone on xda made it to

I had slow chrome browsing experience on ATT and then added "internet" to my APN settings (default, supl, mms, hipri, internet)
And all is well. My APN settings are for ATT 4g PTA
I feel that chrome us fast, and it then again ANYTHING feels light speed when you're used to using Sprints crappy 3G...
The only problem I see in from is that it has no flash support, is there any way to get flash enabled on this phone? I already got the latest flash player APK...
Thank you!

Thanks bro. I played with the tab last night and thought it was pretty fast. Obvious speed difference but nothing major' however I bought the nexus 7 16gb so far so good. I'm loving the speed and smoothness. Only one issue. I accepted the update to 4.1.2 and was wondering if anyone knows a workaround for adobe flash player? As always Thanks again xda!

imo the nexus 7 is way superior in terms of hardware and software, not to mention developer support and google support, being a nexus device
Only thing the Samsung has over the N7 is a rear camera but it has, to me, been done as a precaution as to not look like an idiot.

If you're still running the standard 'out of the box' ROM I presume you're running Chrome? Chrome doesn't support flash.
Try a different browser that supports it. (Sorry I can't post links yet but the old Dolphin HD 8.5.1 does I believe)
Flash also works fine with any alternative ROM (Like Paranoid Android) you care to put on the device - using the ROM's supplied browser

I tried dolphin straight from play store so it must be the updated version. I'll try search for an older version of dolphin or try opera maybe? Thanks for the tip!

The latest dolphin does not support flash.
Either download an older one
Or use the AOSP browser, I find that best for flash support for some reason.
All is good. Rooted via toolkit, then installed aosp stock browser and flash. Thanks all!

Is the aosp browser better than anything else out these ATM?

It's better than Chrome for sure.

I've used the aosp browser for a long time and loved the flash support, but after the 4.3 update to my N7, flash no longer works. I had to switch to Firefox Beta for flash now.
I've never had the problems (slow) with Chrome that others seem to have. But I also use AOSP and Boat Browser. I don't find any of them to be particularly faster or slower than the other
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda premium
What about chrome beta? That's what I normally use.
Is what I heard true about aosp browser and the major security concerning passwords? Rootzwiki has an article saying that aosp saves your passwords in plain text and exposes them....
I noticed about 4 months ago, Chrome on my S3 didn't like XDA.... So I used Firefox with no issues.
Then I had a LG Optimus G Pro (for about 1 week) with same results, so I used Firefox.
On my HTC One, neither Chrome or Firefox works on XDA, only the stock browser worked.
Now on my S4, I've tried all three and none of them work?
The page will load....... I can log in, but every time I scroll, the page reloads, which basically makes it unusable now...... Anybody else run into this problem?
Perhaps they are trying to get everyone to Tapatalk. It's a very good app.

yup. Same issue here. I have about given up using my phone to browse XDA. I really dont want to buy an app just to browse an internet forum....
I found a free XDA app in the play store that'll work, you might give it a try?

Yes, the camera has flash out of the box... (no need to install additional flashes, it works more than ones, not like old cameras were you needed to buy more "flashes" ) Just don't look at it directly or too close when taking pictures... Lol

Camera flash, definitely.
Adobe flash, high chance that the stock browser won't support it seeing as how that seems to be the case on the S4), but Boat Browser and Firefox are just two of many options if you need flash.

Newest Adobe Flash apk attached. Install with a file manager and run Firefox instead of default browser. Win.
Yes I still do this but soon it is not going to work ... as its been a year since they said they will stop Development. .. soon the real world will have to catch up by using html5
It may be when kit kat comes out that it may stop working

Using Dolphin since it can work with the hacked Flash apk.
Anyone know if any apps have working text reflow AND sync with desktop chrome or google? Flash would be a bonus but at this point I am really not happy with googles decision to kill text reflow.

This is driving me nuts, there has to be a way to have re-flow and sync!

Agreed, I'm going back to 4.3. I cannot have a phone without a broswer that doesn't suck!
Browser bowser
I use dolphin for most non flash sites. The hacked flash worked for one or two page loads, then kaput. I uninstalled it then went back to a different flash apk with firefox. Together they work, but sputter.
Why can't the 4.3.1 brower work on NC2 or NC4?
