Lenovo Lephone Firmware

You would be a hero on Chinese forum if anybody could do that. its been few month we are trying....

So far nobody in the world has succeeded to make a custom rom for Lenovo Lephone? Because I don't how to search in chinese.

Well they managed to root it but there is not recovery such as Nandroid yet and the update mode uses a folder, not an update.zip.
So right now only version of the firmware leaked by Lenovo staff can arrive...

What a pity. Any sign of enhancement in the process? I'm not patient :-(

Did you change anything in your phone or you've kept it as after the purchase?

For market, you can download some chinese apks that basically recreate another market. but its all in chinese... PM me if you want me to send it to you, there is a lot of warez on Chinese website so it wouldnt be appropriate to send it publicly on XDA...

there is a firmware that did come out with the official android market. im using it right now and it works like a charm.

to flash the firmware, u make a folder on ur memstick called
UPDATE
u put the system.img along with everything else that uve downloaded and flash it like that

We need a clean DVP ROM!

Somebody please help us out here, we need a pristine backup.
Basically just get a fresh DVP, back it up, upload the the whole damn folder somewhere and share the link to one of us. I would like to see if a backup from another phone would work. I desperately need to revert back so I can get the firmware upgrade, as do others on this website.

DVP has little, if no, developers.

hi guys, afters countless hours of google finally i found a 7008 dvp rom in a chinese forum, im downloading finally after a lot of work cuz to download it you need to register in the site and google translator doesnt work because of the way the site is programmed.
anyways, i still dont have the device to test it (ill be receiving it this week). but if anyone wants to try to play with it there it is: EDIT: (when trying to post i got this message: *To prevent spam to the forums, ALL new users are not permitted to post outside links in their messages. After approximately eight posts, you will be able to post outside links. Thanks for understanding!* i dont have time to be flooding posts in the forum, come on guys, time to review ridiculous rules )
like i said, pretty hard to download bcuz of the language of the site and not tested yet.
if requested i can make a tuto to explain how i was able to download it

I just got it, to download the file do the following:
translate the page by google
then click on copy download bottom beside the link code
then press on allow access on the security dialog that will pop up after
now you got the file
but I think it may be a backup more than a ROM, any way I'll download it and inform you what is it?

I'll take a look at it during lunch.
Ok I took a look and it is just a backup...can't do anything with it.

Guys, just received my dvp a few minutes ago, it looks amazing and it's has a 7004 rom. if you guys can help me to dump it im sure it can be very useful for the community

If you would like to test a few things for for a few days before you update sure.
First thing:
Dial ##634#
Go to RD Test
Enter *#6336#
Scroll down to about
Enter in 983 into the box
it might take a min to load
this is the file browser (just for you to see...cant really do anything in there)
Next we will actually update you to nodo so we can use a filebrowser. Give us a few days to figure this out.

Looking for firmware part of a new site

Hello everyone. I am not new to xda, however im having issues with my old account and not having access to to my old email. Anywhom. Im creating a new site firmwaretut.com that will host all and everyfirmware for any and all models It is still in development. The projects goal is aimed at provinding a directory for all firmware files, tutorials and even custom roms in one directed site. Developers will have the option to creat a profile and host tutorials for all there work. The object is to create a simplified solution and for everyone. Updates will be done daily and in the future all firmwares will be hosted on the site for free.
So right now i need help in gathering all the firmware files. Right now as just links. If anyone can help me in posting locations for downloading the firmware i would appreciate the help. if you have any questions or have ideas please pm me, or email me at [email protected]

X02S (May be known as X01S Plus) MT6580 512MB Ram 8GB Storage Android 5.1 Rom Request

This watch is a bit of an unknown as not much info on the web, although it is being sold on chinese websites like Aliexpress.
It looks identical to the X01S posted here https://forum.xda-developers.com/sm...ourtime-x01-tenfifteen-x01plus-omate-t3571737 however has a different processor (this has a MT6580), and only 512MB Ram.
The reason I have opened this thread is to see if anyone has a SP Flash backup of this watch that they can share, or know the whereabouts of the factory rom. Sadly MTK Tool does not appear to support MT6580 or Android 5...however I believe after reading that a SP Flash backup can be created using Miracle Box software.
This watch does not appear to have a recovery. It does have a chinese menu if you hold the two buttons in on a cold boot which is hit and miss, but looking at the translation from 4pda its not a recovery as such...
Unfortunately my baseband went to unknown while I was trying to intergrate google play store...I have no idea how, and I am know stuck with the android logo and no launcher..so im stuffed without the SP Flash... in the same boat as others from the above x01 link looking at recent posts.
Any help appreciated.

Very good initiative. For me the watch worth the money. Just to say that SPFlash tools and MTK Droid Tools do support the MTK6580 processor and that's is just what you need to backup a ROM or recover a watch.

I've sent off loads of emails to sellers on aliexpress asking if they know where to get factory firmware. BUT i wouldnt hold our breath for a response.
SO, if anyone reading this has a working X02S with MTK6580 cpu and 512mb ram, please, please, please make a SP Flash backup and post on this thread if possible. You would be helping a few people out from the above thread too. Thanks

Messaged a load of sellers on Aliexpress...No one willing to help. HOWEVER, I have found someone on Amazon UK who sells the watch called WearableMall, who has the SP Flash files and is willing to send them to me/us. Only problem is the chinese firewall and web restrictions are making it difficult to get the files to me/us. Any recommendations? I think most file sharing websites are blocked over there. I even offered access my private FTP and website, but he can't access.
Please help if you can.

You don't need MTK Tools to work directly with the watch. You just need a readback ROM from SPFlash and MTK converts it to a working ROM. It is all explained in the first post of this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/sm...ourtime-x01-tenfifteen-x01plus-omate-t3571737

A Chinese Seller (WearableMall) of the MTK6580 version of the X01S/X02S smartwatch has sent me the SP Flash Firmware files for the MTK6580. I have flashed my watch with the files and my watch is now working. Only thing I need to do is fix the imei number with my original. Ive even made a Magisk root patched boot image,which works
Just want to say a BIG thankyou to WearableMall on Amazon Uk for sending the firmware files when no one else would. If you are going to buy one of these MTK6580 based watches then I would definately buy from WearableMall. All the aliexpress sellers I messaged either didnt answer or said can't help.
The file is hosted on Baidu chinese cloud server which is painfully slow to download from outside China. My internet upload is very slow, so I am unable to re-upload to a better cloud. If anyone has fast upload and download, you have a limited time to grab the files from Baidu, and upload to help other users. Please PM me ASAP if you want to do this.

Please use these files at your own risk. connerESP has pointed out that they contain user data (self explainetary), and secro (Stores IMEI number and baseband???) so make sure you have good backups of your IMEI number, and data before flashing. I formatted and flashed with all the above files to my X01S /X02S MTK6580 watch. The watch was dead, and is now working. I did however have to reset my unique and original IMEI number using the engineer mode on the watch after the flash. Please google how to flash and change IMEI on MTK devices as that is outside the scope of this thread, and is covered in loads of places on the net.
If anyone manages to make a custom rom from the above files, then please share on this thread. Thanks
