I have a ZTE Blade aka Orange San Francisco.
Of late, my touchscreen is not working properly. The touch is working at some places but not at other places. I have been looking for solution and I think the digitizer needs to be replaced. Is that correct?
Please let me know.
If so, can you please show me a correct link where I can buy one cheaper or do I have to buy anything else?

Well the title says it all. I broke the screen of my p3600 and i damaged the case also. Does someone have any idea how much it will cost to repair my p3600?
I know that with laptops, the screen can run up to the same amounth as the laptop... lol... Not sure with ppc's though.

kkelis did you have any joy changing your screen? I've done the same got a crack in the screen almost corner to corner so its knackered, just wondered if you had any success before I get the screwdrivers out.

I have just broken my Trinity's Screen this weekend. However I don't know if its only the touchpad or if the LCD is also damaged. How can I figure this out??
I think I order the touchpad only first and if not ok will also order the LCD

Post a photo and I will tell you. But in general if you see black spots on the screen then the LCD is broken. On the other hand the new one is so cheap that I would advice you to buy the whole package and not just the digitizer because it is easier to repair.

My HD2 was overrun by a car and by strippping the phone I've damaged the flatcable of the front keypad.
Does somebody know where I can buy a new keypad?
I've found a new LCD and digitizer but no keypad...
Maybe someone knows something helpful to solve my problem...
I've searched on eBay and Google with no success...

have you tried contacting HTC directly? they must have some places where parts can be obtained? authorized repair centres etc?
+1 for updates though, my keypad flexi seems alittle 'flaky' at best..
Yes I've ask HTC directly... They have a company who repair their broken devices...
I've ask them and they say: "Yes we have a keypad PCB and no we won't sell it to you... Send your phone to us. It will cost round about 150€. Without LCD and without digitizer."

So, I think I've found a dead zone on my touchscreen... and need a replacement for my G2.
Anyone know a good place to buy a replacement? Instructions for installing? Better yet, anyone know a place in Canada that will fix a G2/Desire Z touch screen?

You could try a hard reset or reflashing it but I doubt these would work.
Your best bet is probably to return it to stock and try for a warranty claim if possible.

I bought my my second HD2 on CL with a dead touchscreen basically it was new but the screen wouldn't respond, I tried everything thats been thought of nothing work! call HTC and the same day they got it, FedEx sent me a tracking number showing me it was on the truck on it's way back...

I know, I already looked on ebay but i didn't find any replacement, so i was asking here if anyone had any broken or unused terminal with a recyclable motherboard. However, I have now found a fresh insertion of a cheap motorola defy on my ebay, and according to what I wrote to him, let's see if I can award it :good:. Otherwise, I hold my demand on the topic.
