How can i change the name of kernel version in the setting menu ?

I want to change kernel version in the setting menu
For example, when doom kernel is installed, last option in the phone setting (About Phone) changes from Kernel version into
Doom kernel
I am able to edit boot.img file

So you want to remove the credits and name yourself after? It's nonsense, atleast respect the developer for the stuff he provides for free.

Compile your own kernel, it is the only way.

That's kind of harsh. Make your own kernel, that's the only way. You may start by downloading sources from Sony developer site.
Manipulating the strings just to change the kernel name of another person's work and effort to your liking is not a good idea.

Hey help me out Guys Savies kernel

I finally installed savies kernel after 3days but what im aware of it has only 3 governor? and 2 i/o schedulers..
please help how to load the 18governors and how to make them work thanks :highfive:

You need to do a Custom Installation and select all the governers and I/o's, default installation sometimes doesnt give all the governers

how??? can you tell me? please?

guys, i want to flash Savies kernel and but want to make sure what is the exact procedure.please correct me if i'm wrong.
first,i have to flash by cwm...
then, select the zip file and choose custom installation and select all the governors and i/o's...
then,reboot...
is that all guys or is there some procedure that i forgot?...

thats all,i have installed in the same way on ussrv7 and it was no prob.i have used the aroma one.

-Extract aroma kernel
-Extract govio modules
-Put all modules on /sdcard/.system-replacer/lib/modules
-Put 69govio tweak (ive forgot name file lol) on /sdcard/.system-replacer/etc/init.d
-reboot

Link all on my post 1 on my thread..
69govio from govio-tweak.zip on init.d folder.. Just extract it..

EDIT:it work bro all of the Governors and i/o sched is here.. but how will i know if they are working?

just testing it now im using these kernel just for a minute D ill report tomorrow but for me its fast ill play with the governor but ill ask savie to how to know if govenors work

Is there a way to install or Temple Run Temple Run 2 Oz on SGY Duos, and run correctly?
I searched many forums and have not found anything.

No you have to buy a better device. Our GY has arm6.
But you can search for similar
endless run Games.
Look in the apps section / Temple run post, i have written some alternatives.

You can only install tr but not able to run it..
If you want to install,
Change build.prop like...
ro.product.cpu.abi2=armeabi-v7a
ro.product.cpu.abi=armeabi
Ok reboot and install tr2 or oz it wiill get install

Read properly.. You can just install temple run 2 by making those build.prop changes.. You cannot run it

You cannot RUN it on SGY DUOS because of hardware issues. Temple Run Oz are for Armv7 Devices.

Nice work dude,but can you suggest me the best tweak seems there are a lot of tweak?I tried netfork and adrenaline boost before,should I deleted it to install the tweak or I can directly install it?

Make a backup and try.Unlimited boost v6 and gentleman set are working best for me.

ROOT it , download Build pro tweaker from play store , fid the LCD DENSITY change it , and find the density you want , no damage

Just as an addition, some stock apps don't go so well with changing the density. They'll work fine, but just look a bit odd...

very usefull your link, now all apps looks perfectly with AppSetting i can change dpi of that app that appear not perfect and see them at 640, all other at dpi that i want!
