Hi I'm just curious of there is a version of JB's file explorer with network folder and cloud support working for any ICS version?
I tried a sneaky way of backing it up from JB with TB and then restoring it in NexusHD2 v2.8 but that didn't work... As it's a system app... I'm not sure if it works..
Any info appreciated
Thx

I agree, by far the best file explorer I've tried. It has a really nice UI and all the functions you need.

As graphic designer i fully agree, it's really user friendly and i would happily forgo all other explorers if the ftp function included resume support and worked out some kinks with errors when uploading folders. There are also some sudden forced close. But still its great

Drop it into the system/app directory and edit the permissions of the apk to match the permissions of the other apk's in that directory. Then reboot.

Download:
Bootscreen: http://www.mediafire.com/?ph1fb37x495moeq
Bootsound: http://www.mediafire.com/?kvovzrjr99b8ixx
(remember to rename the bootsound to PowerOn.mp3 and back the old one up!)
Enjoy and please provide feedback!
looking nice
Thanks! Do you have any requests for other bootscreens?
sorry for this, haven't tried changing bootsound, basically how do you change that one? thanks man
Back the original one up in /system/sounds/lgeSounds/PowerOn.mp3, download this one, rename it to PowerOn.mp3 and put it in the same place.

Hmm... To tell you the truth, I have no idea. I am using the stock v20g ROM + root and tweaks btw. You should go find the special tutorial for applying bootscreens on the V or your ROM.

Applying the bootanimation is cake. I should have been more clear. The sound file folder doesnt exist in the path listed above. Ive tried various different things to get this to work and asked about it before in other threads. But nobody knows.
Thanks for the reply guess Ill go rip apart the stock rom and see where virgin hides their sounds.

Ah, I see. Yeah, guess you gotta do that if the sound is not the same as the original LG one (you can check that out in a recent video on my YouTube channel).
I realize that this may not be the best place for this thread, but I figured it would be where I would find the most rooted users. I was hoping that one of you nice rooted Droid x users might be able to try and give me your keyboard from the 2.3 update.
I loved the Droid x keyboard on my Incredible but it wont work with GB and I want to try and get one working. I am looking for the LatinIME.apk file from your system/app folder and the libjin_latinime file from your system/lib folder. Root explorer or something similar would be needed to get these. If you could just copy/paste these then zip them up and either attach them in this thread or PM me that would be awesome.
This is just an experiment, but I would appreciate your help. Again they have to come from a 2.3 phone. Thank you.

Dont see any problem to flash animations from that thread. Anyway, try to download this http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1232454/bootanimation.zip and use the Root Explorer method (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1096068).

thanks for uploading that zip file, it worked then halfway through the end it started flickering, still good though. cheers
I've been happy since I found a hidden file broswer in the new update. When you open a file dialog in IE you can choose an option called "phone" instead of "photoes". you open it and (watch the screenshot here). It might be a good beginning for a cool file managger app for wp8.1.

This depends on which features Aerize Explorer is going to give for free.
Pocket File Manager requires you to pay just for deleting files.
Deleting files is not an advanced feature, imho.
Btw atm Pocket File Manager doesn't work good on 8.1 (according to their posts on facebook they won't support it any time soon) so Aerize Explorer is the only choice for WP8.1 atm
This does the job very well.
The trial limit's you only for one network account:
