[Q & A] What does ASR = Android system recovery look like ? - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 and Duos 6102 Q&A, Help & Troubl

on SGY like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
with this menu you can install custom ROMs and system updates (update.zip) e.g. in order to root the device.
press & hold POWER + UP + HOME button combo to boot into ASR. release POWER after a few seconds, keep holding UP+HOME, release HOME first , then UP button.
Also, from inside ASR, you can start CWM.zip = clockworkMod recovery menu , an advanced recovery menu.
in CWM you can wipe cache as well, among other things.

But tell me how you capture screen in recovery?

With a camera..
Fawkes...

with dalvik monitor

there are a couple of ways to achive that. lol

Getting into recovery with 3 buttons

My SGS originally has had no download mode or recovery via the buttons but after updating with kies i was able to get into download mode (some consolation). After rooting with cfroot i was able to flash custom roms but it can be quite tedious as many times i ve to use odin to reflash. Today i tried to use home and power button again after sometime again i could'nt get to recovery mode so i decided to try and use "VOL UP+HOME+POWER", LO N BEHOLD, I finally can get into recovery

Cannot get into any custom recoveries

I just got a N7 and after one problem came another. First problem I was able to fix (not able to unlock bootloader) but now that I did that, I cannot get any custom recoveries running. I have tried 3 different recoveries and nothing works. I just get what you see in the image every time. Any ideas or solutions?

If you are fully rooted and have an unlocked boot loader, I would suggest trying to boot into recovery from the app, ie ROM manager for cwm, not sure what else. I know on certain ROMs, you can boot into recovery from the power off/ reboot menu.
Hit the up and down volume key at the same time - that should push you past that screen.

[Q] CWM Recovery in I9508

I saw this topic and follow the tutorial post number #9: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2347186
I install the CWM and ODIN appears that installed okay, but when I press the volume up button + power + home enters the recovery menu own android, with the following options: Reboot System now / Apply update from ADV / Apply update from external storage / Wipe data Factory reset / wipe cache partition / Apply update from cache.
I also already tried to install philz version of my phone, but the same thing happens.
I saw the topic that the guy managed to install the TWRP, but I do not know which version of TWRP can use in my cell phone.

Please help me how to get into the Reboot Recovery menu

Hello all
Can someone help me how to get into the recovery boot of the Android screen, since I tried the RESET for a long time and the five-finger process and the RESET with Volume + and I did not succeed in that
Since the screen is fixed on the main menu mode and does not receive any commands except volume + and volume -
And when I unpacked the board, I found a T3L
Thank you all

Just download an Android Terminal Emulator app and type in "reboot recovery"

Recovery Mode UIS7862 Android 11

3 days ago my HU suddenly stopped working, it's stuck on "Powered by Android" screen. It has only RST button (no more buttons, no lights). If I press it, unit powers off and pwers on if I release. I tried to enter Recovery Mode using that button, but it didn't work. I have downloaded TS10.1.2_20211023.140539_TW1-V2.rar but I don't know if it's Android 10 or Android 11 (the one I need).
Hope someone could help me entering Recovery Mode to do Reset default or download and install proper firmware.
Thanks.

I'm in the same boat. Have you managed to get into the recovery somehow?
