Black spots on camera

So i just updated to KF3 since it just released and rooted afterwards. Then I noticed this in the camera.

I'm sure its not hardware problem because before the update it was not looking like this. And yes,the lens is clean. Tried cleaning it a lot of times but looks like its with the camera software.

Have you taken several shots to see if it's in the same place each time?

Sadly they're always on the same spot. I'm downloading my old firmware now (KE7) and hopefully it goes back to normal.

duuuude u have takin a picture to a ghost kiddin. try to chance the resolution of ur camera.
oh, btw, one question: they appear in the picture 2? or u can see it just on u`r sgs2 screen?

They appear on the picture too as you can see it in the picture i posted.

indeed, sorry, i`m a little bit tired. How is with the downgrade? something changed?

Just checked mine on kf3 and no spots, look at the glass protecting your camera and look for small scratches or marks? It could be that sadly?

Sorry for the camera shot I couldn't get print screen to work on windows8. Any way I think it looks pretty good
To apply scroll all the way to the bottom is in the left corner . I like it looks good

Btw it's for your home pc or the web site scroll all the way down to the bottom it will be in the bottom left corner. It should say xda2010 click on that, options will come up. Press xda 2013 beta there you go

The only problem that I see with it so far is that it seems like the screen is a fixed-width screen, unlike the old theme.

Screen "banding" and 'burn-in"

So I'm currently talking with Google and waiting on an email back to see their response...On any grey or dark surface, I have a white banding on either side of the screen that runs the height of it. I also experience some burn in with my calendar widget (due to the white boxes on it). You can see them in the one photo. It almost looks as they've burned in through the settings menu.
Has anyone else experienced the same issue?
I thought it might be normal at first but I compared it to my wife's N4 and her display is flawless!

Not normal. It is defective. Google should take care of it no problem and send a replacement.

I get it with the tapatalk app avatar boxes and the keyboard if I leave the screen on for a while. But it always clears its self up before I notice it to much more.
I've had my Nexus since February and its done it since day 1.

Funky camera

This is my second moto x. My first one had a similar problem (stock never rooted). But I lost that one and got a replacement. And it was fine for a while.
I'm unlocked rooted and tried stock rom, aosp, and everything in between.
my camera is getting flash's of purple . sometimes its all black and says please restart camera. And Cannot initialize camera.
I'm pretty sure its hardware related. Anyone have any ideas?

That definitely seems like a faulty camera.

I had my camera go black before. But never had the purple tint.

Did it go away, or did you end up getting a new phone.
It sucks cause its the basically the same problem on two phones. I pay for insurance. And now I have an unlocked boot loader. So idk if I can lock the boot loader and take a chance they don't look at the status.

[Feature Request] Cursor Right & Left Arrows on Nav Bar

I really miss having this from Cataclysm on my Nexus 5 every time the keyboard popped up. Would be amazing if someone could make a flashable zip that could add this to a stock, rooted ROM.

That's good to know but I love how Cataclysm could make this work with any keyboard. I happen to be a fan of the stock Google keyboard and with this setting enabled, you'd get left and right arrow keys on other side of the home button. Best solution I've seen.
