i really can't wait to test it....
i hope that it will have the FM radio in CM10.1
Awesome news! In the meantime, I'm using the 4.1 to 4.2 app pack.

I think CM for i9100 wil never see FM radio, breaks to many things according to the devs...
Anyway, in other news:
Our Exynos 4 devices running Android 4.2.1 are smooth now. Not like a Galaxy Nexus, but probably as smooth as they we're with CM10.
Let's see what else needs some love.

If people want to keep up with the cm9 progress, look at the link below. Theyve done a great job of getting most things working, but obviously its still buggy and so buggy most people wouldn't want to use it. Until e 911 is fixed, they wont release.
http://epiccm.blogspot.com/p/cm9-status.html
Edit: apparently that's not completely uptodate. According to acer, Memory storage is fixed, as well as camera, calendar sync, on-screen keyboard, and MMS.

Got a few things mixed up. The on-screen keyboard glitch isn't completely fixed but it is better, and I meant SMS instead of MMS, sorry.
Camera is also a work-in-progress, but that should be fixed within a day or two. Just follow the IRC to be up-to-date and follow: http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#q,epicmtd,n,z
their new ics bootanimation.zip in that link is definitely much nicer than the old one i found floating around the forum here...
I say we won't see an actual release until one or two weeks at the earliest. This isn't an official ETA, it's just a logical guess based on the progress so far.

The current CM9 builds do not have don't have onscreen buttons and there is no option to enable them in CM9 at this time but CM9 is very very earlier and most customizations aren't available yet from CM7 much less more customization,

I feel like we're just walking in circles sometimes..
The latest version of Androud that works nearly perfectly on the Wildfire is currently Gingerbread.
There is some work on an ICS port, but that has some distance left to travel before it's use-able.
And the Honeyfire ROM was and SDK port (don't really expect it to work), because the source code for HC was released along side ICS.
EDIT: Also the Honeyfire ROM doesn't look like HC at all, since they had to use the Gingerbread launcher and anything that has a vertical list (settings) force closes.
My tip: Get a HC theme for CM7 and install HoneyComb Launcher from the market.

You've got working camera drivers for both 3.1 and 3.2 and we can't get someone to engineer a working ics kernel with cameras?
Would someone like to school me on what the big roadblock is here if you already have examples to work with? I don't have a problem donating some cash up front if dev time/interest is what's holding us back here

From what I understand its drivers for ICS coming from source. When Samsung releases ICS, camera can be fixed in AOSP.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using xda premium
My understanding is that its not worth spending the time to engineer or reverse engineer the driver. Especially since it will be released by Samsung in the not to distant future. Just be patient or use a Honeycomb based ROM.

Put up a bounty if you're interested; state how much you're willing to donate, and put it in escrow. It can be done, and maybe a dev will take you up on it. That said, with ICS on the horizon any dev will be wary of putting in time if Samsung drops the code before they get the bounty. I agree with the previous person -- suck it up and wait. Use HC if you need the camera.
I was wondering this too... cameras work on a HTC evolution and Samsung captivate...no ics for those in official releases...
