This just been tweeted:
Funny Samsungs first ICS rom for I9100 is a custom. (Still with TW but with ICS tweaks) #December #ICS #I9100
does that mean the first ics type rom now leaked? Fingers crossed.....
Already on KIES? Hmm
there is a new tweet from Samfirmware
"Funny Samsungs first ICS rom for I9100 is a custom. (Still with TW but with ICS tweaks) #December #ICS #I9100"
So we r going to get a new leaked rom ?
Sweet news, we are getting it a lot sooner then I anticipated
The leaked rom will make for a nice xmas present!

Users like me who are using Samsung from I8910 already know their LIES. So I ain't believing this till it comes.
Nuff said.
Just leak a damn ICS rom so CM9 development can continue.
One of those photos from the link shows software keys and of course the hardware keys. Big waste of screen space if that's the official ROM.

The software keys are part of ICS...all devices will have them. Hardware keys or not....
I already knew that since little after the galaxy nexus launch, this is very old news...

I didn't know that. What a waste of screen though. I'm sure the custom ROMs will soon get rid of those software keys.

Ya it'll be nice to get all those binaries from Sammy!
And so much for the intl model not having enough ram.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Even the nexus s has got jellybean, so obviously 1gb of ram can be said to be inordinate in some ways.
Ya I just flashed it on my old nexus s, its better than ICS on it but due to the hardware it just isn't buttery like on my gnex. That's to be expected though with a 1ghz hummingbird and lower bus speeds.
Laughing at my sister with her galaxy s that doesn't even have ICS with pretty much identical hardware as my nexus s with jellybean.

JB is gonna be so awesome on the SGS3. Its so much faster than ICS on my GNex.

Instead of laughing, install Cyanogenmod 9 with Devilkernel or CM10preview no her i9000 and the device is up to speed.
Makes a huge difference over Gingerbread performance-wise and is rockstable.

Hey nod, think he just called your sister stupid, haha.
Damn... I had a 87MB update on my SGS3 this afternoon which failed. When I got home I tried to do the Update, and it just said "No update available".
What on earth? Was that JB which had been launched, and then pulled?

LOL No. That is a regular OTA update. JB is not yet released. If you read the article, you'll see that the the supposed release time is Aug/Sept. Might be later.
As for the OTA update, try connecting to KIES and update.

Excited for Jellybean, but this video sort of left me wanting more and although I use swift key, seeing Samsung's keyboard sent quite a few shivers down my back, despite the Jellybean keyboard being one of the new highlighted features and it being a damn site better than Samsung's.

Yes, looks like GB, but is JB. I got a galaxy nexus (too) with 4.1.1 and looks like GB too. But JB have better perfomance, better transition effects, better notification bar (and notifications), etc.
Why the guy don't share the rom file link??
We'll seek and expect today and the next few days.
when he scroll in the about device section it has a date on 31th july 2012 and when he gets right to the bottom it says TEST KEYS just below xadlg4 at 03:07 in to the video but he quickly moves it back up
btw it's not XADLG4 but XXDLG4.

Im watching it without sound, but is S-Voice gone? I couldn't see it when he was flicking in the app drawer, though there was something that looked voice related on the last page as he was scrolling (but his app drawer was arranged alphabetically...I think). Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but are Samsung using Google Now in 4.1?

I am posting it for those of who didn't see my post in the leak thread.
well, yesterday ota for android 4.1.1 for the koran sgs2 a.k.a 'SHW-M250K showed up at sammobile site.
but this ota is useless since its require 4.1.1 in order to use it.
However, this ota teach us that the update will bring Nature UX and that samsung actually statrted to work on the update.
I took some screenshots of the ota to let you see that it's 100% nature UX /touchwiz UX.
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
SecSettings,SecLauncher2,TopicWall,WeatherWall,Snote and Splanner are 100% nature ux apks and you will find them in every sgs3 rom (stock of course)
they even included the brand new galaxy note 2 water ripple live wallpaper.
And lastly, here the first line from the ota's update script that prove that there was not misspelling on ota name or something and everything is genuine:

there was a thread for those willing to flash a Korean ROM...the HW is almost the same except NFC and FM radio
Its a different FM radio in the korean version? Lacking NFC is not a problem I think, as the ROM will still work only that the menu's for NFC will generate errors if you try to access them..
But we don't have the full ROM right? We have the ota only! A few MB

I think you meant "experimental build", yeah, this might exist, but they don't leak because it's a leak, Samsung doesn't leak it voluntarily, it turns out to be someone leaking, maybe accidentaly?
So, if you install a Koren ICS ROM, you can install this OTA? =)

I believe it's the latest version of touchwiz UI, like the one in Sgs3.

With the Samsung Galaxy S III the Android phone maker introduced the newest version of its interface overlay over Ice Cream Sandwich called TouchWiz Nature UX

I'm sure it will. Maybe it's because of apple's patent war against samsung that's why they will update (soon) the UI of sgs2 to avoid patent infringement. So maybe in a way we might have to thank *cough* apple *cough* in a way.
