If you have been annoyed by the zoom bug caused by placing your wrist on the bottom right quadrant of your screen as you write using S-Notes here is a simple solution.
1) Pinch the screen to resize to 100%.
2) Tap the screen once with your pen.
3) Start writing - zoom issue solved.

At what point do you put your hand on the tablet on your 3 step fix? After step 2?

Wouldnt it be saved as an image file rather than a note file? That means u cant re edit it? Am i right?

If you find the tablet zooming on you when you place your wrist on it simply lift your hand, pinch the zoom back to 100%, then without placing your hand down again simply tap the screen once with the tip of the pen. This should solve the zooming issue for that session. Afterwards just write normally.

I posted something similar to this. But all I do is before I start writing place the pen close the screen then rest my palm.

The single tap thing works better in that you don't need to keep worrying about it.

I though this was interesting - thought I'd make a new thread for random interesting little things.
I just watched a video about air view, and the samsung said that in the (stock?) browser, holding the pen above anything on a web page
will act as if you were hovering your mouse pointer above the same thing on a regular browser.

There is an interesting spen power saving option - it turns off the wacom detection if the stylus is Inside the slot. What this means in practical terms is that you save battery, but you can't use a secondary stylus in the meantime.

That's a nice addition. Does it take a while for the wacom to start up again when you pull the pen out?

The technology used to power the S-Pen.
Found a couple of things that I'd thought I comment on.
There's an option where if you pull out the s-pen, it opens up the s-memo so you can start writing right away. Nice.
If you stick the s-pen back in, it automatically closes the s-memo too, and saves the contents. Very slick!
I'm also very happy the sms program has a 're-notify me every 2/10 minutes' if I haven't read the message.
Notification light helps a lot with this, of course, but it's nice to have the phone re-vibrate if it's in your pocket!
I wish we had renotify for calls too! I tried 'vibrate notifier' but it was kind of flakey on the note 1. Have to retry on JB/Note 2.

You can now adjust the brightness slider even when it's on auto brightness.

Today I set up an appointment for a colegue (we share Google calendars)
It had a time and location. A bit later the phone notified me it was time to leave for the appointment. It had calculated the time it would take to get to the meeting location from where I was and when I should leave.
That's clever

Damn, that is smart. Wonder if it used google traffic to consider any delays as well?
Everyday, google is getting closer and closer to knowing exactly what we do, where we go, who we interact with, etc... scary but who cares.
Holding the s-pen above a web page or any list...will scroll the page...without even touching the screen.

Technically, that's a feature of Google Now, available on any device running JB.
Using stock keyboard you can pinch to change to one handed keyboard and then rhe opposite to go back to the normal keyboard.
It's a little sporadic - anyone know how to do it seamlessly???

Hovering over an appointment with the SPen in Calendar will act like a mouse over and give you more detail. Works great in Month and Weekly views. Scrolling works here as well.

Lol You're fingernail at the time you were using your s3 must have been short, thus allowing your finger as well to touch the screen without you noticing it. And now that you use your nexus 4, you're fingernail is long again..

Really? What are you touching then when you're testing the sensitivity? Do you even understand how capacitive screens work?
The sensitivity mod allows you to tap with the back of fingernail (i know i tried lol). It uses the earlier touch driver, but it does have the side affect of making the phone stall for a minute or more when first booted up; but if used with the supplied modded stock kernel you only have this happen once, also 'Matr1x' kernel also has this feature.

Even if I put my finger on the screen slowly without adding too much pressure it will not recognize the touch...try it.

Can you scroll on your home screen or click on apps with your finger nail?
Can you tap on an app with your finger ever so slightly, but definitely make contact with the glass, on an app icon or keyboard, and no action happens? Meaning the app doesn't open or the letter pressed isn't typed in...

Wow most of you are assholes.. I stopped reading after the 3rd negative response. Does anyone know what an example is? That is what the OP was saying when they said they could select things with their fingernail. It does not mean that they want it to do that but only showing an example of its sensitivity that their other phone had and I can tell you that you CANNOT do this on the Nexus 4 unless you push somewhat. My GS2 would scroll with no issues by grazing the screen I actually have to push before doing the mod.
There is a temp fix and it works fairly well. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2028289

hidden
not its not
Well, for some people, it's not "air touch", it's "S-pen way too sensitive" and it's a problem
(see that vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=viDDKGPj2FI)
I guess you tweaked the potentiometer of your S-pen so much that it reacts without even touching the screen ?
BTW, I guess you've lost air view function by doing this, right?
Oh
Sent from my GT-N8000 using Tapatalk HD
I thought it was some hidden feature of note 2
I liked it very much its cool and samsung should placed one more button to activate n deactivate this air touch feature n its more fun then air view
Sent from my GT-N8000 using Tapatalk HD
Well, the possibility to activate/desactivate this feature could be a great idea indeed, but I fear it depends on the potentiometer of the S-pen. Maybe another button on the S-pen to activate this feature could be a good idea for the Note 3
Was it out of the box for you, or did you unscrew the S-pen potentiometer to get these results?
(for me, it was just the contrary, the S-pen was not sensitive enough, I had to press the screen pretty hard to get it working, I had to unscrew the potentiometer to get a smooth S-pen. I haven't tried to get results as yours and I'm not sure my S-pen could do this even if I tweak it more)
Well I dropped my SPen today
And found this feature accidentally
Its quite simple if you press your Spen tip little inside then this feature activate... for deactivation pull it little out
But its fun to use it
Now its like some high tech magic wand

This is a pretty old feature which I was using on my old Nokia, it was a 3rd party application that used the front camera to detect the motion of your hands over the screen and swipe photos or pages. Nothing new and certainly not a samsung innovation.
