Ok, I got the Nexus 4 and have been trying to find the best MMS settings with fast data without having to call ATT..
if I use the default phone apn I get weird not connected messages and no gmail but mms works. Tried other combos but nothing seems to make mms work with good full internet
any thoughts?
Uninstalled adblock plus and now im working using all apns

I cannot seem to send any MMS messages with any Android rom I try. I have tried just about every different setting with no luck. Could this have anything to do with my windows based rom that's on the phone or does anyone have any ideas?
You need to program your carriers MMS APN. Google will serve you there. Apn is under settings, wireless and networks, apn when you see T-Mobile or whatever press menu, new apn and find android mms values for your carrier last entry should be mms and there shouldn't be any button to select new apn in the list.

Hi MrBox23, maybe you can give me a suggestion regarding mms apn problem.
I can receive a message that reports me I got a mms with a button to download it... the only way I found to download it is to remove the internet apn parameters and leave only the mms parameters.
Same thing for outgoing mms.
Is there any solution to this problem???
I searched around but with no success....
I don't know make sure apn is labeled mms mine coexist just fine mms has no button.
There needs to be two apns one for internet one for mms that's the way simple mobile is anyway tmobile should be same format idont know about att

Hi,
I have a small problem, when i receive an mms with the mobile data off and after i put it on the message just says "Transfering" and i'm never able to see it?
Any fix ? Without being all day with data on..
Thanks
same for me, in italy with vodafone..
Guess this is the same everywhere ....
I have another problem with the mms app ... every time i recive a mms with a photo taken from a iPhone and i want to view it it FC`s
Tho i can recive & view pisc from any other device
Same here in slovenia simobil (vodafone) tried different apn setting like emptying everything except apn url and with proxy, username password...still doesn't work. Says sending/reciving.

Are you using the power butoon to turn data off? It kills data and mms needs data so you can't get it (might work with wlan on tho). Download something like apndroid wich has keep mms option from market.
Have you all checked your APN settings? Some widgets can cause them to be lost, I had this problem.
1. you need apn mms settings to be correct. send a mms to yourself to confirm this. for some reason also on my network (optus australia), apparently you need to send an mms to yourself to activate mms, before other people can mms you 0_0 (according to tech support)
2. for some reason if mms apn is off or disconnected, and you get an mms, when u reactivate mms data, it will be stuck at "downloading".
It seems impossible to recover this kind of MMS... Do other phones allow delayed MMS??? (This is my first smartphone, i don't get many mms)
To be safe, I use apn onoff by curvefish, leaving the option "MMS on". This way, when I get an mms, it automatically turns data on to recieve the message.
I am ultra careful, cause MMS is usually a "special" msg ie. from my friends (girls) lol...
I was wondering if anybody else is having problems sending mms messages with wp7 on there hd2 with t-mobile.
Yeah... Tried just about all the suggestions on the forum. I can send pictures via text, email, and upload to facebook, but I can receive them via MMS.
What i did to get it to work was run the HTC connection setup then make sure your Data Connection is enabled, you can enable 3g if you wish.
If that doesnt work try using this APN
epc.t-mobile.com
no username or password.
It's a tricky thing, i wish there were more 3rd party apps for this dammed OS

I have done this, but it still does not work.
Yeah same problem here. Can't send mms or receive. There is no mms settings section. The APn section I used internet2 for my 9.99 internet asnd that works great.
Does anyone know how to get 3g data fully working on ICS of a fascinate fully flashed to cricket? I've been trying to with the alt carrier but 3g isnt working
Thanks
It doesnt work for me either. Ive tried deleting the apn's and restoring with the one I had on GB. It says successful but when I look at the apn list it is not there.
Cricket Fascinate ICX
FYI, I got my fassy to work on cricket with the AOKP ICS version AOKP Fassybuild21, then locate i500_alt_carrier_data_fix. The only thing that i haven't figured out how to make work is the MMS on cricket.

Ive got 3G working with the alt carier data fix as well and MMS half works. I am using GO SMS and edited in the Cricket MMS settings but I can only receive MMS, can not send. Also I have to turn WiFi off and wait for 3G to connect for the MMS picture to download.

Try APN Shortcut from the play store. I've used it on other Samsung phones to fix messed up APNs on AOSP ICS ROMs.

and did you remove any proxy? like mms proxy. also, pull the sim out, dust off, insert, reboot phone.
Had the same problem with T-Mobile MMS. It turned out to be the AdBlock Plus app. We are an all Nexus family. All unrooted and using the stock messaging app. Hopefully, they have a fix for this! AdBlock kills WiFi performance too. Let us know if it fixes the issue!
mine is still not sending even after i deleted my ad free app. Any progress on this issue?
