Can u make a deBloated version ?
Remove all and every junk Verizon thing ?
Also need the GSM part to work so having the ability to flash the Aussie Radio on it is a must.
I am interested =)
Interested, would like some debloatation of the stock rom maybe kill the google search bar at the top to regain some screen real estate.
Also have the setting turn on for hot spot so those of us with unlimited data can easily go in and mod it. I cant seem to get the setting turned on keeps telling me i need to call Verizon.
And and and lol
reboot & sleep mode back for JB (ie when the power button is pushed) not sure if its easy or not just a wish list.
If nothing else would be happy with just the stuff in the first line. But a fella can dream right.
Good stuff guys I have a bad case of the flu ATM as soon as I'm able to leave this god forsaken bed I'll get started see what I can do

Just throwing this out there... deodexed and zipaligned.
I'm sure anyone who publishes a tweaked rom that is STABLE enough to be a daily driver is good for anyone.
shucks. build it man. ill throw it on my phone for a try.
unlock?
how do u flash it without doing safestrap because i am much more comfortable flashing then safestrapping
If you're on a retail M you don't flash w/o safestrap... Ever. Unless somebody finds an unlock bootloader leak like on the S3 (not gonna happen)

How do I flash DSPManager on the stock ROM? I can't stand not having it and I don't really like any of the custom ROMs.. and I am working with very limited space, so a custom ROM really is t an option for that reason alone. I recall a way to flash things without using recovery, but forgot what program did it..

Before you send it back, have you tried any other ROMS or even better try blur ROMS to see if your phone or the neutrino is the issue?

So the darkside blur ROM didn't work. Hmmmm. I'd say give the totally stock ROM wet dream a try and see if that works but other than that look at the ATRIX stickies for all the info about stock stuff there.

Ok, I'll try that tomorrow or this weekend as i'm off.
but I figured (and hope) it fails to work in stock ATT factory settings like how it came to me on day one, so ATT will replace it.
if my phone just doesn't like working the gps with roms, that'll really suck.
I did look at the sticky, but didn't see anything about locking it back and unrooting

CM7 broke my GPS. I figured out though if you download GPS Status in the Android market and go to tools than Magellan GPS state it will lock on your coordinates. Than just open the GPS program of your choice. Hope it works for you.

Hey whats up? I'm SirHoover and I am an Atrix HD dev. I've taken a liking to the i (although I don't own one) and your development is just depressing. Might be able to either work with someone getting a usable ROM out there, or build one and have it tested (remember I don't have an i). PM me or comment if anyone is interested in me working on your phone or wants to help.
I agree with the lack of ROM development. I would love to help out but I have zero coding skills. Anything music related I can help out, ha. (Ringtones and notification sounds anyone?)
Hope you can get a hold of a razr i for development.

There's not much bloat on the stock ROM from the retail units and we already have 2 ROMs that did away with that tiny bit of bloat plus are deodexed (and one of them has the 4.2 camera and gallery). So you have at least 2 ROMs you could use as a base.

Not using those ROMs as base. I wont deodex Joker either, it runs faster odexed. Possibly could add in some mods. Idk I need a full system pull from a linux machine to look at. Joker isn't hard to create, just will be a pain to make anything without the phone lol.

Motorola is the one who needs to allow that.
Why would you want the circle widget? Ugly waste of space. Cool feature is weather and that drains battery. I would like to have 1% battery mod so there is one more useless feature.
the best features oft a Rom are Speed stability and light battery use, getting rid of bloatware. in case of the razr i getting the FM radio back.
Please, make Cm 10.1 a reality!

I'd like to have both TouchWiz and Google Edition ROMs on my phone and to be able to switch between them when desired. At the moment I'm unsure which one I really prefer, but having to reflash and restore all my apps each time is kind of unrealistic. I'm wondering if there's a way to do this.
Thanks!
Set up each ROM then make nan droid backups of each in trwp and restore when you want to switch.
You could see if Boot Manager (play store) works with your device.
That app looks kick ass. No support for us. I looks like the newest samsung it supports is galaxy nexus. It looks like the wifes phone just became my guinea pig
U can ues up to many roms as u like. As as long u have alot of space in your memory chip. And by uesin any rom. Just restore rom to rom. That u wanna uesss

Hey guys, first off I would like to say that Im new to the forum again, and if this is in the wrong spot, go ahead flame away lol.
I'm having a hard time finding a good rom for the Sprint S4 that can include the wifi tether. every application that I use gets denied by the phone's system. What im looking for is a rom that allows me to use the wifi tether, and keep the IR functions. I used to have the HTC and Droids and didn't have a issue like im having with the new s4....Can someone help lead me in the proper direction.

Do I need gaps or anything. Right now I'm running cm10.2
Flash a touch wiz rom.. just about every TW rom has hotspot hacked out the gate.. no need for wifi teather

Looks like it's pretty unanimous, If you want a rom, check out sacs custom rom. It's based off stock so you won't lose any features, and it's tweaked to where some people are pulling over 30 hours of battery life
4 out of 5 people have recommended it
Let me also recommend sacs' rom. It's reason I rooted my phone.
Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 4
so the sacs rom wont need to have a secondary anything for the hotspot to be active and pass the block sprint has.
SACs is awesome! Everything works and hotspot will work as if you were paying sprint for it.
Sac's ROM FTW!! I' on 42% right now with 1 hr 45 min on screen time and total of almost 20 hrs! I dare any other ROM to beat that

Just take some time before you root. Make sure it not defective and just give it a test run so you know after you root its not causing you problems
Members are expected to research and read through the development threads before altering their device. The only thing you will get here is a list of all the ROM's because every member has found what is best for them. You can get the same list by looking at the first few pages in development. Try each Rom out until you find what you are looking for.

I've been using Hyperdrive since the first build came out for Note 3 and the thing I like most about it is the battery life. I unplug at between 5 and 7am and by the time I go to bed at night I'm usually still around 75 - 80%. Of course it runs much smoother for me than stock does and I like the customizations that come along with it as well. I tried to flash Beans last night just to check it out but for some reason it wouldn't boot so I just restored my nandroid. I'm planning on flashing Beans when I get a little more time and checking it out but for now I'm extremely pleased with Hyperdrives performance on my device.
Eclipse
Im gonna wait on Nitro and his fabulous eclipse rom, it will be awesome, right now running stock trimmed out.
Try both and see if you like either one better than stock.

Might as well do this. With SafeStrap, you can load up multiple ROMS and switch as your heart desires. Honestly, don't know why phones with unlocked bootloaders don't have a Recovery that allows ROM slots. Seems to make perfect sense so you can load up more than one ROM. Just like partitioning your hard drive and running Windows on one side and Linux on the other. You can chose what you want to use, when you want to. Cant beat it.
But to answer your question, I am running HyperDrive since version 1. Havent really tried Beans. Sure it runs just as good. I am just happy with Hyper right now.
Stock with xposed framework and modules. While i appreciate everything the dev's do, development is not far enough along to leave stock with xposed yet.
Also on stock with too many mods in xposed to count. I seriously can't see any reason to flash a rom. I'm consistently getting up to 2 days uptime and I have all the mods I could ever want.

So i struggled for the longest time why one rom on my phone would play nicer than the other , if they both use the same base.
So I formulated a theory , which can be really wrong , so take it with a grain of salt: Currently I have close to 120 user apps and wanam xposed with multiple customizations. I feel like your set is up is the reason why one rom will be buggy with poor battery life and other will be phenomenal. That is why you will find people swearing with one and hating the other. It is hard to find a perfect rom for all, since android varies tremendously due to its wonderful inherent ability to be customized.
of course you can also argue for coding, build boxes and smali skills.
which goes back to the main point, you need to try it out because compatibility between the developer's build and your set up is key to the perfect rom combination
so dont be startled if you try a rom that others rave about and it sucked on your phone , just move on and vice versa.

I totally agree with you there. My battery life on HyperDrive is ridiculous. I can go almost two days before I need to plug my phone in. I'm very satisfied with HD and don't plan on switching anytime soon. I ended up staying on RLS2 cause my theme was causing my phone to reboot whenever I pressed the lock button after I took the RLS3 update, but overall HD is a very solid ROM and I'm quite content with it.
I just recently flashed the newest hyperdrive update RLS3 On 11/27 I'm having problems on the power menu doesn't show the power off also in the very top next to the clock it shows a lock icon what is it there for and can I remove it
