i suggest u to use odin to go in stock rom and kernel again....see doky73 thread for information on how to go to stock rom and kernel....i am sure this will surely solve ure prob....

Your problem is that the nandroid backup wasn't from your phone I assume that's what you mean by "another backup" if you flash a stock rom that isn't native the region where you live your going to have connectivity problems check this thread here on flashing stock rom using odin
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1465800
Also in that tread you'll see he has different rom for particular regions make sure you take the one native to where you live then flash it with Odin and your problem will be solved

Softbricked is that what you have, when it wont load ROM, but it can go in download mode. Hardbricked is when you can't even go into download mode. Just flash another ROM, and you should be fine!

search the forum n there are many useful posts for getting back to recovery like very detailed posts so search the first before creating new threads ...
if nothing helps like when u tried everything then go to local repair shop .. , they will charge max 40$ but that will save ur warranty.

try the ril fix!!
try flashing the ril fix first (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2764389 ) (thnx to marcussmith2626) .if doesnt work then reflash the rom again via odin. u may can redownload the latest odin package and flash it again..
M not rooted.
So I cant flash ril.
Now what should be my steps?
Should I download the rom again Indian one and flash it?where can I find Indian 2.3.6 stock rom?

No need for root... Theres a method in the thread (link in above post) better follow it.. Its through cwm recovery..
If u cant understand what is cwm and bla bla :silly: then u better re download the odin package..

you need to provide more information
What rom are you using and kernel
You can either flash stock rom via odin (see my firmware thread at top of dev section or link in my signature)
Or you can use the correct baseband and kernel with the correct ril combination (again see my ril thread link in my signature)

Galaxy Y S5360: Flashing Stock ROM?

I tried out another ROM on my spare phone in the hope of gaining more space, but I have decided to go back to the stock ROM, and install LINK2SD.
I've got several identical phones, so should I backup a ROM from one of them and restore it on the flashed phone? If not, how do I choose the best ROM from the Galaxy Y S5360 flashable firmware packages
thread?

The thread you have quoted is old and no longer in use
See my firmware thread at the top of the dev section or by clicking the link in my signature & selecting the appropriate thread
There is also a guide on my thread which tells you about Samsung firmware codes - Just select the one from your region
Thanks again Marcus.
It would be really useful if some outdated posts could be culled..
Flash your stock firmware through odin.
There is no bad choises, only bad results.

Google search for:
"Return to stock J3109"
Or
"Stock firmware for J3109"
You'll probably find it at Sammobile .com or samsung-updates .com.
Then do a Google search for
"How to flash stock firmware in Odin"
Make sure you get the newest version of stock or at least the version equal to yours but not any that are older than what you already had.
If your device does not boot but does vibrate when you press power then you can get a debrick.img from someone with your exact model number that has a rooted device using terminal emulator to retrieve the debrick.img from their while it is on stock firmware. Then you can find instructions for unbricking Samsung devices using an SD card to boot from.
