How to check the md5sum of a file:
Windows:
For windows you need to download the md5sum binary. I recommend the one from my dev-host.
After that, copy the file you're trying to verify to the directory where where you downloaded the "md5sum.exe"
Once that is finished, do SHIFT+RIGHT CLICK (inside the folder window) and choose "Open command window here"
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then type the following ("fileNameHere" must include the extension):
Code:
md5sum fileNameHere
That will output a hash, which you can compare to the ones above.
Linux: No need to download anything, md5sum binaries are included in all distros, as far as I know.
Open a terminal and type the following ("fileNameHere" must include the extension):
Code:
$ cd path/to/download/folder
$ md5sum fileNameHere
Two important notes:
This method can be used with any files you download, as long as the download site (or the dev themself) provides the correct md5sum.
If any of the digits do not match exactly, you need to download the file again.

Thank you for posting this, been looking for it a while.
No problem
Updated Drivers to version 4.1.0.001.
Two important note, from here on out I will also be including fast links for the Sync setup files (HTC Sync and Sync Manager), as well as a SyncManager_XXXXX_STRIPPED.exe which will literally be ONLY the Sync Manager program, all drivers stripped out from it (as in, it won't install any drivers, hence a much smaller file size).
You will now be able to find the FULL setup files for HTC Sync and Sync Manager inside the Original HTC Sync Folder of the linked mediafire folder in the OP. This will provide a much faster download if you do want to install either one, rather than a capped speed download from the HTC site itself.

I've searched the web, and found no lynx binaries for android, so I set out to compile it myself.
For the uninitiated, lynx is a text-based browser. No images, no javascript, no flash. Just pure content.
You can use it by connecting to your phone through adb, telnet, ssh or a shell on the phone itself.

This is lynx version 2.8.8 with ncurses 5.9
I pretty much just followed the instructions at http://www.embedu.org/Column/Column294.htm, and added a flag to make the linking static. No code changes were required.
Installation instructions
Root is not required.
You need to unzip the file on the /sdcard folder. The following files must exist:
/sdcard/lynx/lynx.cfg
/sdcard/lynx/lynx.lss
/sdcard/lynx/cache/
Then you need to move the binary to /data/local (or /system/xbin if you want something more permanent. Then you'd need root)
and run this command:
chmod 755 /data/local/lynx
Then run :
/data/local/lynx
and enjoy!
Additional information
If you want to put these files somewhere else, you must redefine the following variables, respectively:
LYNX_CFG (eg: export LYNX_CFG=/system/etc/lynx.cfg)
LYNX_LSS (eg: export LYNX_LSS =/system/etc/lynx.lss)
TMPDIR (eg: export TMPDIR =/cache)
If you receive an error message about the terminal, you need to configure a terminal.
Here are some instruction (for nano, but it works the same)
Sources are at the following addresses:
http://lynx.browser.org/
http://www.gnu.org/s/ncurses/
reserved
soon get the flash-able package
Thanks! I installed this on my ZTE Blade with 2.3.4 Gingerbread, but after setting everything in Terminal Emulator, I get these errors:

Will be testing on my thunderbolt later today. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
However, would you mind reposting this on RW, or would you mind if I were to repost it and link back?
[EDIT] In having just configured everything, I also get the error from the post above. It seems as though lynx thinks it doesn't have internet access. This is the case on 3g and wireless networks. Let me know if you want me to test anything for you.[/EDIT]
All the best,

Well, I was able to install it from a chrooted ubuntu 10.10 distro on my device. It's already compiled for ARM on ports.ubuntu.com, so maybe it's not so exclusive.

Nice. Can you point me to the correct file? I got as far as http://ports.ubuntu.com/pool/universe/l/lynx-cur/, but I don't know which one contains the binary.
While this is quite cool, why lynx? Why not elinks? It has much better layout capabilities. It has tabs! It even has javascript.

Minor "update" (if you can consider it that). I have added the source code to the Zip file under the _source directory in case anyone wants to play around with the "guts". Feel free to modify it as you see fit, just remember to give credit if you distribute it

Thanks for the suggestions! I have added ADB WiFi (please test it) and also, if you select a file inside a directory, then edit the path, removing the file, it will push the directory.
Enjoy!

I have been diving further and further into PowerShell, so I challenged myself to create an Android Developers Bridge (ADB) and Fastboot Tool built on PowerShell.
It's simple, but easy to use. Simply extract and run the PoshADB.exe (right click - Run as Administrator if UAC is enabled)
Requires: PowerShell (included with Windows 7 and newer)
Code:
[B]Current Features:
[I]ADB[/I]
[/B]Push/Pull from Device
Install APK
Reboot / Bootloader / Recovery
[B][I]Fastboot[/I][/B]
Flash update, boot or recovery images
Unlock/Lock Bootloader
Reboot / Reboot Bootloader
Code:
[B]Changelog:[/B]
7/17/2013 - Added WiFi ADB
4/25/2013 - Added source code to the ZIP file under _source directory
4/24/2013 - Added Fastboot!!!
4/24/2013 - Initial Release
DOWNLOAD HERE
Let me know what you think, or if you have any issues.

It works with a download manager like 1DM, tested personally
To XDA's mods and admins:
I didn't post this thread using DevDB because I had to select a device... from an empty list.
Do you like to waste your time using ADB in text mode? Me neither.
I want to present Yeti FSExplorer - Windows app that will improve your Android device's file managing experience.I wrote it in C# and it needs .NET Framework 4.5 in order to work.
It looks like this (screenshots inside):
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}

My main goal was to create a PC-like file managing experience and here's what FSExplorer can do:
create new files and folders
delete existing files and folders
batch copy and move files (supported by the file queue)
download and upload files (drag&drop supported)
quick download and open a file from your device (only double-click needed)
check and set permissions (3-digits, e.g. 644)
remember where have you been (this means you can go back, up and further like in Windows Explorer; up to 15 last places)
connect to your ADB WiFi-enabled device
list your device's partitions
work in root mode (SU) (working for every command except download/upload)

What do you need?
In order to get Yeti FSExplorer working you need to sell your property and buy a license have ADB installed. This means it has to be accessible for this program. You can either put it somewhere and make proper changes in system's PATH or simply download this and extract to a folder containing FSExplorer.
You'll also need .NET Framework 4.5 or above, so Windows XP is not supported. Sorry for that.

Got any problems? Any feedback?
Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I'm almost sure that there are language mistakes (also the silly ones) I should fix.
If you run into any problems, see any bugs, I'd like to see a message from you, describing the issue, your device and steps to reproduce.

Update: I'm sorry dude! I would like to use the program, but very weak the support! You do not visit in this direction...

Sorry for replying that late - there were things independent of me and I wasn't able to analyze the source code for (probably) my mistakes so I could explain it here.
Thank you for reporting this.
When trying to connect to your device using ADB WiFi, do NOT write ":5555", the only thing you need is the IP address as 5555 is the only most used ADB WiFi port. If you try to connect to, for example, 12.34.56.78:5555, nothing is done. Then:
1. If connection is established, FSExplorer will refresh itself, trying to list directory "/".
2. If it isn't, you'll get an error message.
Once again, sorry for delay and not clarifying this thing in this program.
Edit:
I'm working on IP address recognition fix now. There's also one more bug (listing in root mode). These two fixes will be included in version 1.2 of FSExplorer.
Edit2:
Version 1.2 is up. I'd like to know if this version works better with your device.
Sorry...
Today I received a notice by e-mail on this topic!
Now it works! Thank you for your work!
Nice to know!
Feature requests and more bug reports are welcome as much as opinions about this app.
