Additionally you can look at what's been merged here: http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/q/branch:mr1-staging+status:+merged,n,z
mr1-staging is 10.1 specific stuff.
Edit: and if you want to see what's new, or features from 4.1.2 that are being rewritten, go here: http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/q/branch:mr1-staging+status:open,n,z

I don't want to be a smart ass but if it's the first nightly wouldn't there NOT be a changelog until the second nightly?
.....or the changelog would read "EVERYTHING"

You are correct, but it will still show everything that is included in the first nightly and if you click on next nightly it should show you what will be in the upcoming releases. I also just wanted to know where it would be for future releases ( not so much for the first one. Peace

[Q] Edit Nav Bar Icons?

On my Galaxy Nexus in the CM10 rom you could add buttons to the nav bar, the most useful for me was a menu button, which made four buttons along the bottom.
Is there anything I can do with my Nexus 4 that'll let me keep a permanent menu button in the nav bar? An app or something I can flash?
Thanks
flash a custom rom such as cm10.1

It is if you use Jellybro. It's been in there for a long time now. It's the same thing as CM10.1 but with cherry picks.
Does it have nightly updates ? And updatable through settings menu ?

1. Yes it has nightly updates. It is compiled based on when there are 'significant' changes. Fitsnugly compiled it on a daily basis. Gearhead does his own thing, I don't mind.
2. Updateable thru settings. No.
It's in Romans AOKP, totally configurable navigation bar buttons

I would also suggest you should have a look at AOKP, very configurable ROM with great support.

Anyone have any idea when the source for 4.3 will drop? Can't wait to have some Roms based on it

Hopefully since it is a minor update cm will merge it without switching to 10.2 and staying as cm10.1.

They posted on their G+ page that it will be 10.2. Also, it's a pretty large under the hood update and there are lots of merge conflicts.

Nexus 4 nightly issue

Hi,
On the latest 11/20 nightly I have no sound at all and the phone can't find WiFi.
Is it a known bug?

Might be some old 4.3 cruft that hasn't been cleaned up yet. This is why, in my opinion, the device should have been left untouched until kernel source and factory images for 4.4 were posted... Or at least kernel source and an OTA, instead of doing hackjobbed 4.3+4.4 hybrid frankenbuilds for a week.

It's gapps killing you, then, not the rom.
It's just stable by name.
The nightly after that one is better. More useful commits for our device, like this one:
http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/52671/
http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/55026/
That's not included in the "stable".
Also, no need to create another thread. Reported.

He didn't say it was the rom.
Yes we know its released, we don't need 10 threads telling us this.
Thread closed.

OmniRom Nightlies, Download and Discussion.

Omni has released official nightlies for our beloved flo for a while now but no one has bothered to make a thread here on Xda.
Requests are pointless!!!!
They will be more useful on g+

How to update a nightly: Using OpenDelta(twrp only)
Go to settings>About tablet>System Update.
Click "check now", everything is automated from there. It will download a small update containing only the changes and patch your current rom zip. It takes about 2-5 minutes depending on how big the update is.
After all that is complete there will be a "flash now" in the bottom right corner. Click it and your tablet will boot into recovery (only twrp is supported right now) and flash the ROM and reboot.
Now in order to keep your custom kernel, supersu and any other mods while updating. Omni has made a folder located on your sdcard, OpenDelta/FlashAfterUpdate. Place any zip in here and it will be automagically flashed during the update process.

Nice. Been waiting for a thread. Might have a longer thread life in the general section since you aren't the official dev.

I am having trouble installing SuperSU but stuff keeps telling me that I need to root. I am rooted. Anyone know what's going on?
Update: I downloaded the latest SuperSU and installed with TWRP. All systems go.

Is there an 'official' thread for this ROM and the nightlies? Not necessarily with dev involvement but one where users are discussing it? Or is this it? I thought there would be a lot more discussion about it.

This is it. For bug reports and requests you should use g+. The reason I made this thread was because no one involved in the ROM has made one for flo.
