Hey guys..
I'm facing this problem.. After flashing CRAZY RABBIT 1.8 and wiping my battery stats, my Defy no longer enters deep sleep (some times).screen keep on after locking it, screen turn on automatically and off itself.. turn on and off keep doing this, which is making by battery last a lot less.
I've never had problems like this, because I was on MIUI Pikachu Edition...
I have search for hat but not success.
Any tips how to solve it? Thanks!
It could be a rogue app running in the background, since I am not aware of any whiterabbit issue like this

back on MIUI Pikachu but having same problem, screen turning on and off automatically after few minutes. Any suggestions?
You must flash full; sbf (Official Froyo Mb525, Gb Mb526) ,your problem should be corrected.
Don't worry will be good: Good:
Try flashing a Rom without restoring apps. If there is no problem then restore your apps carefully to check which one is causing the problem
If you have a problem even with a clean flash.. well that shouldn't happen

Hi all,
I don't know if any of u have this issue but on any rom (cm7, cm9, cm10, stock 2.3.6 fruit cake) my phone randomly reboots instead of showing lock screen when I press the power key to wake the phone. I don't know what is causing it but it happens randomly.
I tried complete wipe (system,data,cache,dalvik including internal and external sd). I changed kernels (stock, faux) changed radios (.36p, .37p) but no use.
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated..

Try fastboot wipe. That fixed my rebooting issues when I flashed cm9.

I'm currently using the HYPERION ROM, I just wanted to ask if there is a fix about the battery status from the new build which is HYPERION-BUILD.07_RC-03.05? Because every time I reboot my phone, the battery always shows 1% even though it has 50% more. This causes my phone to shutdown while scanning my SD Card any help? Thank You!
i think mine does that too but it doesnt reboot my phone.

yup, still every after boot it goes 1%, I think its a bug from the ROM, ill just wait for the fix or an update.
try to remove some script on init.d.

Lol. Don't do that.
That bug still has to be fixed. Actually, the same bug was in the working CM7 we got vivek, and i don't think it got fixed. So fixing that bug is a very advanced task.

Can someone give me an advice?
I have a defy+ with bl7 and since I have flashed the 11.10 build I noticed that my phone acts weird:
1. the phone signal shows full, data is on(H-symbol) but the signal icon it's not blue and I cannot receive calls. Trying to turn on/off data nothing happens. Turn on/off airplane does nothing. Only if I reset the phone I can receive calls.
2. Flashing stock Rom or 2nd init builds solves this problem but appear another(random reboots)
3. In 2nd boot builds the battery drain is very high even with the latest build. Only when I change the file libril.... from Walter MSGINGER the battery drain its normal but the issue with the phone still on.
This is happening to me 2-4 times / day
So the advice I ask is that
It's a hardware problem or is a software problem?

Same thing happened with me so I installed sbf Nordic and then cm9 and now using cm10 which is working awesome without any problem

I flashed froyo because I got green lens and I rooted it with super one click then installed 2init recovery installer v2.0 then flashed cm9 epsy. Version and froyo kernel after that installed cm10 18 build update 3 and now 4th it is working awesome

Guys i have problems with JB SISTER.

My problems with this version: frequent LAG, freeze when i open any app. The only way for restart android is remove the battery. Ah yes! the boot takes too long to start. Too long!!
Well, i had before this version Quarx version (4.1.1), and i only wiped data and flashed above it.
Then i think: I'll back to stock rom.
Following instructions, i back to retail stock android, because i did not want more problems. After this, i flashed the JB SISTER.
This time, freeze are less frequent but, when i open two or more apps, the system freeze fully, then i remove battery and it all starts again. The problem of boot takes too long continues.
I wonder if anything succeed solve this problem.
Anyway, i think of changing this version totally unstable.

nope bro i oo did tat wipe and made it proper which made me not to install fursquare and lots many apps ... which says ur not allowed to install itseems ...yukkk ..remaining everything is awe and faster not a single lag for me MB526 motorola defy + JB sister
bootmenu-cpu settings-scroll down-set to default (should be 3rd option from the bottom)

i did a clean install from cm9
i m having no problems like that
only one bug i m facing is
that
whenever i open stock gallery in any photo editor
the fone gets stuck
so i m using quick pic now
p.s.
if u touched any settings in performance menu
change it to default

before this i had cm10, then i tried flash stock rom then after i flashed again the sister, but the system ever is strange.
ok guys, ty for help me. I think i will reflash another rom, quarx version.....

where? the base rom doesn't matter because you wipe everything anyways, and because of 2nd-boot you don't use Motorola kernel either!

it's happened to me too. after official froyo i installed that rom and all the phone became sluggish, every app i tried freeze so i had to flash another rom

I screwed up... i deleted /system and rebooted..
Now i am stuck in Moto Logo and RSD Lite is not detecting my phone as well.
I have the drivers installed and yet nothing happens.

I was facing the same problem when i first found this thread. Then i just went to performance option in settings and checked . I found that cpu governance was set to interactive. I changed that to ondemand and my problem got solved.

From quarx.I did whatever the instructions said.after flashing my battery stuck at 80% n its not going up(damn).I also installed defy red Lenz .zip Can anyone tell me how to fix that up.plz

Using latest nightly (CM10 - 11/5), Defy+, my battery will not charge past 80%, and it is dropping at an alarming rate. I tried to wipe battery stats, but it do not exist anymore (or I did not found it, in this case, please tell me where it is located, because it is not where it used to be). I already applied the battery fix, but it did not work. =/
