As noted I need nandroid backup for 2.5.1 and/or 2.2.1. If you have one or know where I can get one then please let me know.
All links I was able to find in forum were dead.
Was able to find Israel Cellcom 2.1 nandroid & fixed SBF. I could even install them but not suitable for my needs

Asked this question before but nobody answered. When using Rom Manager Premium and doing a "backup of current rom", am I to do this, then try another rom and if I do not like the new rom, do a restore backup and everything will come back just as if I had not tried the new rom at all? I mean everything. I use titanium backup pro, but it's still such a pain in the A to get everything back up and running again. I am running Trigger 3.3 beta right now and really am liking this rom and have it pretty much set up just as I want it now. Cannot see how another rom can be as good as this one, but it would be nice to try them out, and come right back when I need to without the hassles. Thanks.
So ur question is? Should u use restore backup on rom manager premium.. I do

No. My question is, can rom manager premium put everything back like it was using restore, after a rom is wiped to try a new one, without even messing with the hassles of using titanium bacup pro.

Yes, with the exception of your kernel. It cannot restore that.

Im glad someone asked this question! I thought the same thing which is why I stayed with trigger, but 1 question what if I have trigger 3.0.1 and want to try a GB rom then come back is it possible with rom manager?

gingerbread and froyo are two different monsters! so no u couldnt but any froyo rom u can!
Well, you can get it back, it's just more work, but getting to GB is more work anyway right?
Couldn't you Odin a froyo stock rom with kernal/modem, then flash the custom froyo rom again, download rom manager, put the RM backup you kept on your computer into the RM folder and then restore the previous settings?
I'm interested to hear if others have done this. I want to try a GB rom, but I like to move around a lot and Froyo roms seem like the way to go if you have an itchy flashing finger.

I know the PBJ voodoo kernel I installed has caused my market not to work. I would like to know if there is a way I could get it back. I don't have a nandroid backup of another kernel. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

well first of all, why didnt you do a nandroid backup before you messed with it...
well anyways..you could disable voodoo and flash novoodoo pb&j via cwm
I flashed three different kernels and the only thing that worked was restoring my nandroid backup...
What I went through is in the kernel thread... xP

So.. is there nothing I can do?
And I did have a good backup before, but my sd got messed up somehow.
My market did work while I had voodoo at one point, but I don't know what happened to that :S
Yeah, I understand...
All you have to do is flash a non voodoo kernel, then install the dl17 clean rom.....
Making sure you do wipes...

After you convert back to non voodoo, of course! ! ! !

Can someone make titanium backup zip installation for recovery ?

I can get you a Nandroid? But why do you need it for. If you think your device has serious issues flash a FTF stock ROM. Always the best solution for

Try this. But threads like these should be posted in Q&A.

Is the backup made in 4.1.2 and the new rom is 4.2 (or the other way around) ?
If yes, then I'm sorry to inform you that the path where the backup reside is different in 4.1.2 and 4.2 ... so there are some steps required to use the respective files. More than that, switching in between 4.1.2 and 4.2 will require you to alter the mounting points.
No I'm on 4.2 and did a backup of stock using cwm. Now cwm cant find my backup

What version of CWM.. This is a known bug on a older version. I would suggest you check that maybe even re-download and flash cwm again. Get it from cwm web site not the one in rom manager self install....
Good Luck
I got the latest one, i will flash the stock image again. Third time lucky! Thanks for your help
