I figured I'd play it safe and put this in Q instead of T&A.
I have Mass Effect Infiltrator. When I try to download the rest of the app, it gets stuck at 212MB. Then after waiting a long while it just errors out and gives me a retry button.
Anyone else have this problem? Or maybe someone would care to share with me the content it's trying to download so I can just shove it in the Android folder?
Mine stops at exactly the same spot. Their is a nice thread in original development about game compatibility.

I'm having the same issue on my nexus 4 as well (64% 212mb). Tried it on my galaxy tab 10.1 too and it just stays stuck at the ea logo and never seems to attempt the download. My transformer infinity just gives a 5002 error. I wish EA would sort their act out. These are all pretty popular devices!
Edit: just tried copying the apk from my nexus 4 to nexus one to try on there and it did the same thing as my galaxy tab. Does this game work on any device!?

How do you get that far?
When trying to download it from the play store I get a message stating that the game is not compatible with my device.

I either restored it. Or told it to install via the play store website. I forgot which.

Hey all. Just got back from from Google IO yesterday with my new Galaxy Tab 10.1.
I was really happy to see Netflix available for a number of phones, including my Droid Incredible. Did a quick test yesterday and it seems to work great.
I'm at work today, went into the Android Market web site and went to the Netflix app site. Clicked Install and it came up with a list of devices to install to. One of them was Samsung GT-P7510 (my Tab 10.1)!!!!!! It let start the install, saying it would install on the selected device. Unfortunately, my 10.1 is at home so I can't see if this actually worked.
Can someone with the Google I/O 10.1 tab try to install Netflix through the Android Market website?
PLEASE WORK!
-Gregg
Sorry - false alarm. I called home and had someone test it. The netflix app did install, but when it's opened it says it's an incompatable device.
Oh well - maybe someday soon.

The app opens...its a tablet interface looks really good, unfortunately when you click a video it says device not supported
heres how to modify your build.prop file to make it work. I havent personally done this yet but if you have root this should work.
http://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/ha5oh/root_how_to_edit_your_buildprop_to_make_netflix/
can someone try that? ^^
Tried modifying the build.prop with the Galaxy S method. Sadly it didnt work for me.

try this
model HTC Vision

It seems like it's mostly because of the CPU. Since the 10.1 was given at Google I/O. I wouldn't be surprised if the first supported tablets would be the Xoom and Galaxy Tab.

No luck for me... but I'm not rooted. Anybody with a rooted tab want to try the apks in the link above out?

Does not work on a rooted I/O tab. I get an error about being unable to communicate with the server. I think it has to do with an OS version check server side, but that's really just a guess.

Got it working?
Has any one tried to view sky go via hdmi cable to a larger tv screen ? i know sky have blocked this feature on the official app but i wondered if any of the hacked apks had disabled that ?
Keeping an eye on youtube to see if someone does that. I haven't got the cable to do it but I will be trying this out when I get a chance. Official cable is needed for hdmi output afaik. The picture quality takes a while to get to an acceptable standard but after a few minutes it's not bad. I'm interested to see if it watchable on a 40 inch lcd tv. Sky seriously needs to get the finger out on this one, 720p/480p would be awesome on the S3. A work around for a browser on the S3 would be one possible way of getting a higher resolution closer to how it performs on a laptop. A better official app is enevitable at somestage though, I'm surprised Samsung didn't partner with Sky instead of just Eurosport for the S3. Probably not worth the hassle for them. Stupidity in my opinion on sky's part though as it makes their services a whole lot more marketable to support more android devices. Wouldn't be too surprised if apple were paying sky to drag their feet on their android rollout.

There are checks that could be ignored, or made to return false, edited in a similar way as 'cracking' the version so it works on all version.
Since I its not getting past 0% for my I can't really try it :<
Stumbled across this trying to get SkyGo working on my S3.
Downloaded cracked .apk and hiding root but when trying to use it the app tells me it needs to be updated and when you click to update it it takes you to Play Store and says "Your device isn't compatible with this version"
Is there an updated version of the cracked .apk?

Hi ,
Just noticed this thread and thought some of you might appreciate this tip i posted in transformer Prime forum few months back regarding Sky go.
Long story short i love F1 hate sky so friend gave me one of his sky device keys and i installed on to PC (hooked up to 42" Bravia) rather than Prime as you can stream Sky go from the Pc to tab/phone using Splashtop.
So basically 2 devices only having 1 registered obviously not full functionality of 2 devices but multiple screens and add more by installing Splashtop on more of your devices .

Tried and tested and hey presto NOT working. Just says you need to upgrade if u select watch now and sends you to play store, which says device not compatible with your device. If u select cancel it just stays at channel selection screen. Unrooted stock rom LFB.
I've been looking for a game like age of empires or star craft for my tablet. It seems that starfront is the closest thing to it, but I can't get it to work. Anyone know how to

Would like to know add well
OK well if u use Google well enough you can find a version for the LG p990
Which if installed, it will download all the files needed and it will work on the n7
Sent from either Galaxy S3 intl or Nexus 7
both on stock at the moment!!
Tried installing the version for lg, but it won't download the add on. It keeps giving me an error.
I think I downloaded the add on, I think by using a different version and then just reinstalling it. I got the game to start, but it crashes after the first trailer plays out
Well I un installed it, and now I can't get past the add on download again. I'm not sure what I did last time, but I can't replicate it. I've paid and downloaded the lg p990 version from Game loft, but I can't get that to work either
I managed to get it working by using the Galaxy tab version to download the data. Then uninstall the game and install the LG version, it downloaded the data again but then worked.

Too complicated, I'll only play it on my playbook for now
Galaxy Nexus won't support
How many mb was the galaxy tab version. Mine was 526mb. I tried what you said, but it still says error when trying to download the add on from lg. Where did you get the apk files. I downloaded the lg version from Game loft. Which version of the galaxy tab did you get.
attached are the two apk file. one is for the tab the other for the lg p990. can anyone else confirm that they got it to work. i can't. i tried installing the samsung tab one, downloading the the add on, uninstalling it and then downloading the lg. however, i keep getting an error when the lg one tries to download the add. i've already spent over $20 to play this game, and i just can't figure out how.

Do a search for starfront collision all versions (torrent) it includes 8 apks. I've just reinstalled it to go through it again. Use the galaxy tab apk to download the data (526mb) The game FC's on startup. Install the lg p99 apk over the G Tab one and it works. Hope this helps everyone.

It worked. Awesome. Thanks
Don't spend money on Gameloft games if they aren't officially supported. I did this with Order and Chaos. Every update broke the game and it would say incomparable. They REALLY go to great lengths to only let their games run on specific devices. Toward the end, we had to deconstruct the APK files to remove the device detection code. It became way to complicated to be enjoyable.
I probably "wasted" $40 on Order and Chaos buying multiple versions to make it work and subscriptions and ingame app purchases... only to keep getting locked out for months at a time.
I have a really bad taste for Gameloft and simply do not support them with my cash if they do not want me to play it. So be warned. Don't drop cash on this unless you are seriously desperate to play it, because it may lock you out at any time.
the workaround explained here really works on Nexus 7.
But it just downloads 526MB of data and the graphics are not really the best.
However, if I use the Samsung Galaxy S II version, I get a download of 708MB. I believe these graphics should be better.
what do you say ?
Also, I'm looking for a version to run on Acer Iconia A100 and/or Asus EEE PAD Transformer (TF101).
These 2 devices have Tegra 2 CPU. Which version should I use on them ?
So I download the NBA app on my GS3 and Nexus 7. You can watch games live on either one. You can log into your League Pass sub or buy it through the app. So I buy it on my GS3 and it bypasses the log-in screen and shows the game. On my Nexus 7 however, it asks me for the log-in info. The app says if you bought the sub through the app you wouldn't be asked for a username/password. Anyone have any idea how to get it working on my Nexus? I might have to bite the bullet and get a microUSB to HDMI so that I can watch on one of my monitors.
No dea. And the n7 doesnt have MHL so youll be wasting money on the tv out if you buy it

I was able to copy the APK from my Galaxy Nexus (nba.comdigital.gametimelite-2.apk) to my Nexus 7 and installed. No modifications to build.prop needed like I expected I would need. Not sure if the GS3 is a different apk from the GNex though?
Video and everything works great. KaliKot, he was talking about using video output from his GS3..

Yeah, I just think its stupid that League Pass "Mobile" doesn't work on tablets. It even says on NBA.com that NBA League Pass Mobile works on all "Android Devices".

Its a problem with the app working with Android 4.2. I have the same issue on the Nexus 10. GS3 works fine running CM10 (ATT) and whatever JB stock version Sprint has out.
I'm looking for an app or method to be able to download apps on the Google Play Market that are strictly for tablets. When I try it gives me a message saying the app is not compatible for my device. Is there a way to make the Play Market think my Galaxy S4 is a tablet. I know that this has something to do with the Play Market knowing that my phone is not a tablet and they get that information from somewhere in the build prop..I think. Anyways, could somebody please help me.

Only thing I could recommend is if you have a tablet, use a program to backup the app on there and move the apk file to your s4. Only issue is it probably won't scale to the screen fully. I did this with game informer from my nexus 7 and on the s4 is like half the size of the screen.
