That is NOTHING but a Lie.... The HTC Sensation does not even have LTE Bands.... And it would not say 4G LTE, It would show just LTE. If your Phone was showing 4G that means 3G/HSPA+ on T-Mobile...
I know that the sensation isn't a lte phone.and to be honest there's no such thing as a lte phone that just a gimmick to sell phones.I even called T-Mobile and told them about it and the guy said that it is possible that it occurred because T-Mobile is doing lte testing in las Vegas right now.I personally could careless who believes me.I was just sharing what I seen on my sensation so call me a liar it don't bother me at all. Takecare

Did you see "4G" or "LTE"
Both.I has lte right next to 4G.call T-Mobile and ask them if they are doing lte testing in Vegas.why would I lie what do I have to gain except better cell service.

You do know that does NOT make any since! Its either you will see 4G or LTE at the top not both lol.
It dont matter even if they were testing it your phone WONT GET IT! your phone WONT get the bands for LTE it will NEVER see LTE in its life. The ONLY phone that ever can right now is the Note II that I know of.
By rights yes I understand what you mean that why I don't how the heck I got it on my sensation.the T-Mobile tech guy said that there's no such thing as a lte phone they just say that a particular phone phone is to make money its all a gimmick and I personally couldn't believe that someone from T-Mobile was telling me this.he called it a buzz name meaning b.s. basically.I wish I wouldn't of even said anything now.sorry for the confusion sir.

Unless your running a custom rom, or anything like that. You can change the Icons around under SYSTEMUI.apk and can make my phone show what I want at the top and it not be. if you did see that next time go to settings and status and it will tell you what your really on.
I'm running so custom ROM.If it ever forms it again I will post a pic.

So my question is that ever since the launch of the MyTouch 4G I had it n loved it, but I never saw "HSPA+" or "HSPA" under settings> about phone> phone status > scroll down and I look at mobile networks and it always says "HSDPA"!? Basically I'm asking if HSDPA is the so called 4G, or am I not in the 4G coverage area? I live in Washington DC! I went to T-Mobile.com already and checked the 4G coverage area, and it seems that I should have 4G! Sorry if this was a dumb question!

No 4G , I asked a few weeks ago.
Damn... I'm gonna end up buying the sensation because nothing has even been announced. Samsung is ****ing up by not releasing it in north America yet...

Well get any unlocked smartphone from eBay..you know high end models...sensation,evo,gnex and so forth...hell my lg optimus t was once a contract phone but its cheaper to use prepaid so I do.we have 1 JB WIP and 3 Ics roms

T-Mobile would be the way to go I would think.

Well first you need to describe what descent is to you? Obviously your on HTC Sensation, wish I had that device...I wouldn't recommend using LG products though...Samsung and HTC are the best in my eyes..I don't follow any other phone threads other then LG OpT but by word of mouth and common sense .I'm pretty sure any phone with a dual core processor will have an established JB/ICS development thread...if not there entirely behind the power curve because I have a single core processor and hardily any ram...you can use any phone carriers phone with T-Mobile prepaid,as long as the phone is unlocked and on cdma

You mean gsm.mobile's not cdma.what does LG carry in a dual core that you would recommend. Thanks!!!

At least announce it may 22
Its not official yet but it makes complete sense (no pun intended). HTC phone coded HTC PN073XX was spotted and combined with the fact Verizon has listed the DNA free with upgrade, along with the timing it is a logical conclusion.
I am bitter sweet about this. I have the S4 preordered and is suppose to arrive on the 23rd. Add in the fact that I stopped at an ATT store and checked out both devices and am kind of leaning toward the One now. I guess more options are better

The only thing that scares me about this announcement is there is no way vzw allows the bootloader unlock and when the phone comes out HTC remembers that they are "supposed to" lock down the at&t model as well.
If this is all true, I will be back on Verizon that day. Unless legitimate Moto X rumors start rolling out.
I'll be getting it if it does come to vzw. Its time to retire the galaxy nexus. I'm still unsure about the capacitive buttons though. I like the way the nexus is set up.

I saw the Verizon One.
The HTC logo was removed from the bottom and replaced with the Verizon logo. The beats audio logo was also replaced with the 4G LTE logo.
