Yes, it's the same with mine and probably intended.

Yes, I like the buttons like that. The power button feels almost flushed.

Willing to bet it is intended, that way you don't hit it all the time when turning the volume down , and end up putting it to sleep ...

I don't remember that... But Google Googles are pretty good if I remember correctly it even replaces qr an Barcode scanners and you can "translate" directly from the picture and send the picture directly to the app via the "share" button

Google goggles is a pretty nice augmented relatiy tool which works in quite many cases. SOmetimes you have to change perspective to get something recognized, but it knows quite a lot...great app!

If you're talking about the strength, install a custom kernel like Franco

If you're using Franco, the default vibration is set to 100, stock is 70.

I had a Nexus 4 until i bought a Galaxy S4.I also liked how Samsung vibrator works. What I did at my Nexus is get a Galaxy Nexus Vibrator and install it into my Nexus 4.With some small adjustments it`s working flawlessly.I bought it from a local mobile service in Romania. But you can find it all over the internet! For example...here.
Whats wrong with the N4 vibrator ? I had a GN before and didn't notice it being weaker or anything.
Vibrations are much sharper
I eat massive amounts of spaghetti.

Volume control

I use to have an app on my phone that would prevent the volume on the phone from being changed. I have a problem putting my phone in my pocket or holding it the wrong way or whatever and the volume is changed and I don't get phone calls. Does anyone know of an app that will prevent the volume keys from changing the volume on phone? I used to have one where if you try to turn the volume down the app would just push it right back up.
