My guess would be due to the flickering?
Does anyone else's screen flicker?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
I don't have any flickering what so ever is it getting very hot that might explain if it keeps flickering consider calling Google for replacment.good luck

No flicker here even on lowest brightness. My 7 does (annoyingly) so I just keep it a little brighter.

My screen flicker one time really bad that you start seeing line going vertical on the lcd, it happen after a restart. Don't know what happen. I restart the phone and the screen flicker less but you could still see it. After readjusting the brightness, the flicker slowly stop. It have not happen again.
I bought this phone from a dude on craigslist unopened sealed... what are the damn chances of this phone being FD up......I messed with my brightness and still flickering...

It has happened to me twice now. One time last only couple minutes, the second at least 5 minutes. The backlight flickers at high brightness, at lower its less but lines go through the screen and the Black's are all discolored in weird patterns. I had spoke ui hiccups at the same time as well during the second event. First time during the day random time, second time after it was charging overnight.

Just randomally goes to lock screen? Even when using the device I have my screen timeout for two mins but this random ally happens sometime twice less then a minute.

I believe I found out what's causing it.. lol I am wearing a magnetic ring and when I touch near the bottom left on the back it turns the display off weird?

So apparently its supossed to do that with magnets like in a case but works with my ring kinda cool.

Had the same problem. Used to fold the front of my case behind the tablet to use Kindle app for example then realised the magnets were causing the screen to lock. Was driving me nuts for a while and I was all ready to return the tablet to the store. All's well now though :good:
i just bought my nexus 4 and under light the screen matrix si clearly visible. its like a pattern of lines.
it's my phone faulty or all have that! please i need a quick reply!
Mine has it too and it looks damn cool if u ask me. I wouldn't worry its the IPS panel prababley

it's something like this.......but in a pattern.......
Every one can see it when the phone is angled a certain way. I can see it when my screen is off and the lighting is right.

Its normal.
From my guess it's from the new touch sensors being built into the glass instead of having an extra layer.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
That's normal for capacitive digitizers

I don't know if my nexus is the only one that has this but my led is more noticeable on the bottom? You can see the circle and the dot in the middle which is the led

I can see mine too but only when the screen is completely clean and in bright light, don't worry its not a problem

I was trying to find mine with direct light and I couldn't really see it. The only time I've actually noticed it was today in direct sunlight and the right angle.

I'll try later with sun light and correct angle
never noticed!
yes its normal dont worry
Hi,
Since about a week ago my nexus suddenly started to die at about 30-40%, it depends. I don't really care about the fact that my battery is empty, but the fact that it happens on 30% and I don't receive a notification at 14% is really annoying. Is there a fix for this?
I'm running Aicp with stock Aicp kernel.
EDIT: Since I stopped charging my battery percentage hasn't changed for about half an hour.
Edit 2: I rebooted and now it's 41%.. Really strange

It's getting worser now, it usually turns off when it's around 40% and around 50% I lose connection with mobile network and can't connect any more. I've tried different radio's but had no effect. I'd really like to know how to fix this. Or is the only solution to buy a new battery?

Take the back off the phone and see if your battery is bulging. This sounds like a battery issue. I had similar symptoms on my last phone. I took the battery out and spun it like a top.

Yeah I had it with my old galaxy Y too, my battery became so fat the battery cover didn't fit any more. But that happened slightly, this came out of nothing.

Haha, I was with friends and suddenly I noticed that I was able to spin my phone, and together with the fact that the battery was acting strange I thought it must have been swollen. And yesterday I saw a little lump.

see your imei and baseband, are they all unknown?
The purple dot on the side of the screen and half of the screen became weird today. Never seen it before. It is not effecting the touch or anything.
Thanks in advance.

is it constantly there or comes and goes? I'd warranty it right away nevertheless
It will go away eventually.. I'm noticing it only happened when the phone in sleep mode overnight.
