Hey again,
When I connect my earphones to my phone and play music, the beat of the song change. I don't know why or how. Can someone help Please ?
Please tell us which rom you are using. Also state whether that rom has DSP manager or any other audio-related app. These apps might have different settings for earphones and different for speakers.

Thanks for the reply.
Is the Rom Gingerbread?
I got no kind of audio apps whatsoever. I tried this on my sister's phone (Samsung Galaxy Mini) and got the same problem...

Most probably some kind of problem in your earphones then, since this is happening on two phones, both on stock. You must have the stock Samsung Music player. Do one thing - go to your music player's settings. You'll see a box "5.0 channel" or something written like that. If it is ticked, untick it. Do this with your earphone connected.

5.0 is unticked.
The earphones (I bought them from here, eBay)

Hey guys, I'm running stock with root, wondering if I could install DSP manager or Beats and have a positive result..? I've seen another thread that says the Beats app in play store causes issues.
Can I simply use the CM10 DSP manager app in system/app? Has anyone else tried this?
Also curious if anyone has tried volume +.
Thanks

I went with the Pimp My Rom and the Pimp My Beats, but it really hosed my device. I couldn't get any audio at all after, and had a heck of a time trying to remove it. PMR uninstalled OK, but the PMB stayed behind and finally restored from backup.
I will try the DSP manager from CM10 and see if I have better results.
Has anyone used this or gotten it to work on their s4 yet? I know, for me, it made a huge difference on my s2...I tried to install, but just didn't seem to work right...if anyone has it working and would like to share I'd greatly appreciate it!

Hey guys,
I was playing around with the new Google Hangouts app and decided to use the video feature. Apparently, everyone can hear me but there is no sound on my end (I can't hear anything)... I tried this with different people using both WiFi and 4g and checked volumes, but no luck :/. Anyone else having the same issue? I'm running Nexus 4 stock rom rooted.

I to an having the exact issue on my bassis galaxy s3. Works perfect on the nexus 10. I'm running paranoid android on both devices, latest versions available. Also same issue on a galaxy player 5 stock rooted. I've googled everything I can think of and can't find any rhyme or reason.
I'm aware this isa nexus 4 forum, but I stumbled across it in another search attempt. Definitely not related to any one device.
Well, apparently Google fixed something.
The galaxy player that hadn't worked with outgoing audio is now working. Same goes for my galaxy s3 on paranoid android.
Thanks Google for listening!
