Try another kernel or go back to the stock kernel to see if it fixes it

4.2 broke somethibg I think.
Wait for xlouder to be updated.
Or try dsp or noozxide or one of them

A very strange screen defect... :(

Whenever there is a certain shade of gray, there is a bunch of green pixels. I don't mind a whole lot but it's annoying. Is anyone else experiencing this? Fix??

It looks like you might have to return it.... not experiencing anything like that on mine and I had a few weird things happen here and there

I'm not going to return it unless something serious occurs. This doesn't really bother me unless I'm in the settings app or in poweramp.

Fair enough I guess.... how about reading in night mode?

Likely to only get worse.
Fixed!! I just flashed a new ROM and the problem went away

Actually it was the kernel that did it. Trinity seven alpha 86. Great kernel but needs work

New Camera MOD

Hey guys, has anyone of you tried this yet? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37590578
It says it improves the default JB 4.2 camera with some nice focus additions. I still can't try this yet because I'm still out of space to make a nandroid backup and test it.

To those who tried it and worked, what rom are you using? And to those who tried it and didn't work, what rom?

Paranoid android lag

I am running paranoid android 3.15 and I am having terrible lag issues. For example, sometimes when I press the power button the screen will not turn on, an the when it does the lock screen locks up and I can't do anything. I also have overall more lag than usual. Is anyone else experiencing this? Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks

You need to give a few more details... what kernel are you using and what settings?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
I believe that I am using the lean kernel. I was originally using franco and the lag was much worse. What do you mean by my settings? Thanks

Did you dirty flash or clean flash? Give us some more insight as to what you've done to your device.
I rooted using the nexus 7 toolkit, and installed cwm using that as well. I flashed using romantic manager, but that just took me to cwm. I also used cwm to install the kernel.

Actually I got it figured out. I think it may have just been a bug in 3.15. I don't have the problem anymore with 3.16. Thanks anyhoo!

Quiet hours??

Today I read a post that talked about some app of quiet hours.
I my mind is not bad I remember that android had this on 4.0.4???? Am I wrong? Cause my nexus 4 on 4.2.2 doesn't have it.
Thanks

Not on stock. CM has had it since gingerbread though. Maybe even froyo.

PA must have added it in because I have it and I'm running PA.
You could also use the app called - Battery Widget. It has the feature to set up quiet hours. You could also setup a tasker script for the same.
Thanks , mm yeah, I thought that was a stock option.
It would be nice google to add it.

Google just puts the bare minimum and if you want more. Do it yourself and install a app or flash a custom rom. That's the joy of having android, the possibilities of adding things yourself
I personally don't use profiles.

[Q] Control music track by hold volume btn with screen of

Is there any way to do it ? My old phone with cm7 can do it, maybe nx4 too.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
CM10.1 has the option to do so yes. So CM10.1 based roms should have it too.

You can buy the eXperience Pro app. It will let you control music with volume. The only thing is that you have to be rooted.
Thank you ! Great app.
