After figuring out the recovery issue, I am now having this problem.
I installed CWM SuperSu v0.98 via TWRP and I hit reboot. Now I see the Google logo for a while. Then the Nexus logo. It doesn't boot into the actual phone. Still stuck on the Nexus logo. Any takes folks?
Man this Nexus 4 is sure giving me hell. I wish it had a removable battery. So much easy to do if you muck up when rooting or anything at all... I know holding the power button down for 10 seconds reboots the phone but I want to turn off the phone instead. Not effing reboot. Jeebus....
When I first rooted I was stuck here too but make sure to clear cache and dalvic cache. Then it should boot up fine
Edit: when you hold down power make sure you hold down both volup+voldown then you should boot into fast boot. Then from there you can boot into recovery

Hey,
I need some help with my Nexus 10, it's stuck at the moment.
I ran fastboot oem unlock via the Samsung Google Nexus 10 ToolKit 1.3.0 (updated for 4.2.2) and as soon as it was done it rebooted and was stuck...
Booting normally it gets to the bootlogo and just sits there forever, going round and round and round.
If I try to boot into fastboot it shows that it's unlocked but I can't change change to recovery using the volume rocker it's just a solid static screen, only choice is to start which boots back into the normal boot logo.
I have no way to use adb or fastboot... it's just stuck :/ How do I recover/unbrick this?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm on the xda-devs irc at the moment and we've got so far... but still its messed up.
- Recovery is dead (can't get into it atm, orange triangle guy every time)
- Flashed stock via fastboot and unrooted, but on reboot I get the triangle guy.
- I can boot into unsecure roms (temporary)
- I can boot into temporary recoverys, clearing cache works but davlik cache and factory reset doesn't work both say "failed"
I'm currently awaiting the guy whos been helping me get back from the shops.
From what I remember you need to either install something or run a command after "oem unlock" for security reasons. Android wont let you boot back into the OS until you have wiped all the data after the unlock.
The orange guy means it's working. There's a button combo to hit at that screen to get the recovery to boot. Once there do a factory reset and your done.
That's why toolkits sick, they teach you nothing and when they break your stuck

Can you flash a factory image to it via fastboot?

The pressing 3 buttons at once; cycling to recovery... method wasnt working because there was no recovery accessable what so ever and temporary recoveries weren't working.
That's what a few guys in IRC said too about the toolkits haha
Thankfully some guy by the name of YellowGTO spent some time helping me out and we finally got there in the end, he's awesome and extremely patient

Okay, updates for everyone just incase someone else gets the problem.
- Factory Images via fastboot flashed fine but never stuck, just kept returning me to triangle dude.
- Fix permissions, did nothing
- Restoring stock recovery did nothing, I still couldn't get to a recovery.
- Temporary recoveries only had limited functionality.
I decided to unlock an already unlocked phone again
I flashed stock, Ran file permissions
Used the temporary recovery to clear the cache/davlik (previously didn't work)
I re-rooted, Installed TWRP 2.4.4.0, this finally stuck.
I double checked that it had stuck by booting the system, rebooting into recovery, powering device of and powering it on to Android. It was all working perfectly.
I then made my backup and put a custom rom and kernel on, it's working lovely now.
It seems that somewhere during the oem unlock it messed up some partitions or something resulting in recoveries and flashing not to work/stick.
Good to hear it's working for you. The issue is that the stock N10 bootloader does not wipe the data partitions correctly as it should. So after an unlock you need to go into the stock recovery and wipe it. Boot once, then go and flash all your flasheys

That's the thing, the recovery wasn't available in any way shape or form and temporary recoveries wouldn't wipe the cache... the oem unlock went wrong somehow even though it had full power, wasn't interrupted or anything.
I'm glad it's all working now, I thought the device was completely dead at one stage.
I think you had the problem almost everyone runs into:
As you can see in the video, you just have to try for a bit to actually get the recovery menu to open - My heart dropped a little before I knew that as well

I think you are right and that was his problem..... The toolkit actually told him how to handle this ... but who reads all the that text anyway
so this morning I tried to install xposed on PacMan 4.3. I installed it and it said to do a soft reboot.
after the soft reboot i am now stuck on the PacMan boot graphic.
I can't get into recovery any which way.
I have tried the power down to get into recovery and it just reboots.
I am now in download mode connected to my computer but want to know what to do get back into the ROM and if its possible to do a nandroid so I don't lose my texts/phone logs/app data.
You may be forced to go back to stock and start from scratch. If recovery isn't working then you can't really do much to fix the issue. What's the model?

vs980
anyway to get into recovery via abd to backup info?
also why would xposed mess with recovery?
Getting into recovery will leave you with what options since your bootlooping? Wiping for a fresh install or trying to reboot for a another vicious cycle? Either way your going to lose texts app data and phone logs. Unless you have a backup your hiding from me? Lol
To get into recover
Try holding volume down + power*
Immediately when LG appears let go of both and ONLY hold onto power, should boot into option to factory reset*
Hit power button 3 times to continue, then itll load into recovery

I got stuck in a bootloop last week as well and had to do a factory reset (on my Moto X). Good reminder to move my backups to my computer...
There was just an update (2.4.1) to the Xposed installer that says it "Fixed a bootloop which mainly occured on some x86 ROMs," so hopefully that fixes it.
Hi, today for the first time I tried to flash a custom rom
at the ROM installation guide it said that I must have TWRP 2.7, so I installed that and wiped Dalvik cache, cache, system and data.
Did not touch internal storage.
I rebooted because I felt kinda lost at the baseband part. but now it's stuck on the LG logo, with the LED light working with rainbow colors (like the phone always does when I turn it on, but it has no OS now..)
I tried getting into recovery/download mode with no success, what can I do now?
How can I get back into recovery mode?
Hope someone can help :fingers-crossed: Thanks!

make sure your phone is powered off entirely and then
How To Reboot Recovery - LG G2
1.Turn your phone off.
2.Press volume down and power button until the LG logo comes on screen
3.Let go of both buttons
4.Hold the volume down and power buttons again until you see the "hard reset screen"
5.Press power once and then power again to confirm. The screen says it will reset your device but it will not as long as you have a custom recovery installed.
6.Your custom recovery should appear on screen.
If that doesn't work then you are going to have to go back to stock
I tried going back to stock but no success, the software is not recognizing the phone...
I also looked for videos on youtube, but couldn't find someone with simillar problem to mine.
Nevermind, figured it out.

If you don't mind. What did it for you? Once I install CWM or TWRP, I can boot to recovery by cannot get the system to boot - EVER - without getting stuck at the LG LOGO. The only way I can recover at that point is to use the LGFlashTool and start from scratch.
Thanks!
Hi, I recently performed an advanced wipe, and I wiped the System, and then turned off the device. Now when I try to launch the device, it does not have the recovery mode (blue led at the launch). Either can launch the boot mode (Voulme down + Power). When I do this, nothing happens. Any thoughts? Thank you!

If you are able to boot into twrp then follow the guide mentioned below (Twrp has MTP enabled just in case u didn't know) :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/general/zip-oxygenos-3-x-t3392826
thank you for the answer.
i dont have twrp installed i've only the stock recovery

i read this as a solution here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/oneplus/comments/3mtavv/opt_stuck_in_boot_loop_after_ota_update/

I also installed through the software update button.
Everything seemed to work fine till optimizing apps.
Then my phone was showing starting apps...
it did it for an indefinite time and then i pressed the power button to reboot the phone.
however now it is not moving beyond the android logo and i dont want to lose my data so i am not clearing data.
i tried clearing my cache.
