Does someone know any app to transfer any file through S-beam ???
OR
First, of all can we transfer any file through S- beam ??
I am trying to create an app which will be able to transfer any file via S-Beam :highfive: similar to Bluetooth.
If there is already an app or mod to do this then please comment or reply below
Any suggestions, queries , ideas , etc are welcomed to this thread.

Hello all ..please help me i cannot receive files using Bluetooth..i can send ....i think that i try all function that are connection with bluetooth... other devices see me but when they try to send a file ...answer : connection was rejected by my device....i paired my device with his ...start sync data ... and other but nothing ...help me please ...i doesn't have wifi to try another app....

have you tried reading trough the thread to see if it's a common problem on that rom? have you tired another rom?

is a stable rom and in changlog i dons see bugs ... on my device i had this problem on all rom i try...icysnap miui ,nekos v2.3 rom
try 3rd party apps such as Bluetooth File Transfer from Google Play..

Some roms don't support receiving apk files(if u r trying to get that). try renaming it to mp3. if problem with other fies too then try above first

i try only mp3 file ...and i can't
I am having Nexus 4 with latest 4.3
I am able to send the file through Bluetooth but unable to receive files from Bluetooth enabled phones, laptops.
Does anyone having solution for this?

A noobish answer, did you make your phone discoverable while receivng. ??
If rooted try Es file xplorer. You can send apks from stock file explorer. :good:

My girlfriend & I are having the same problem.. We both using Nexus 4...it doesn't allow me to receive apk files from other devices.... But I can share mine..... By de way, bluetooth visibility is ON.... Any help?

The Bluetooth discovery option is ON. I am able to receive the file but problem while sending.

I am trying to modify my Dad`s Company App. The app was in ".jar" and i used JAVA J2ME RUNNER app to run it as i converted .jar app to .apk using " netmite.com" site. till android ics it was working perfectly but after the sms changes done in kitkat this app is not working.
Can anyone please tell me how to do it. and the right code to make this app default sms app.
or if u can do it for me . its really very important for me i wanna give this app to my dad as his birthday present .

I have also used apktool to modify cosmos.apk ,but nothing worked. But i have taken decoded manifest.xml file of the cosmos.apk got by using apktool.

U cant force your app to be the default. Thats malicious. However there are things u can do that will allow users to set your app as the default. There already a great explanation somewhere else so i will link u to them.
