Today i flashed jellyblast v3 which has its own custom kernal.before flashing i made a cwm backup....
But when i restored that backup it is still showing jellyblast custom kernal.so pls tell me how to revert back to stock one...

After restoring the backup, it showed the name of the custom kernel? Backups restore kernel too, that's why it seems kinda weird.
Stock kernels, you can find them on doky73's or maroc-os's thread in the dev section. And stock kernel is one and same, it dosen't vary with DDLE1 or DDLF2, etc.

Actually it does. Not every time.. but it changes.. at least I have noticed when firmware updates are made...

I bought Galaxy Y and unfortunately there are little but noticeable lags with the stock rom. I’ve read the threads and stopped on two kernels savieSGY and MerrukTechnology. Please, recommend me which one is better /stable, rock solid and smoother/, because I can’t test it as it is used by my mother. Finally is it worth it to change from stock kernel to custom one?

try merruk 2.0 its stable but you can also wait for the later version that will be released pretty soon.

Yep, i remember that he said in the 1st post that v7 doesnt contain any particular custom kernel, it will boot up either in stock or other kernel.

I Installed Hells_lock kernel = hells fusion #50 and I am getting wifi problem after installing stock rom too....

go to dev section,search for wifi driver by whitexp.
you flash hells_fusion,why don't u search first in respective thread?

are you mounting everything before install? cuz I fixed all wifi bugs in #50
He might have switched from a kernel using whites modded dhd.ko that means wifi will only work on whites kernel
But buddy helps here .....just extract dhd.ko from a stock rom its there in system/lib/modules ..... Correct me if im wrong...i dont remember....it should be there...or download it from the thread flash or replace and VOILA problem solved.....

I have tried everything but getting prob.... even wifi driver and all other fixes.... 3G also not working
Using Stock kernel also not working and have formatted everything in cwm and reinstalled stock firmware help....

I was using stock kernel on evo x3 rom now i am on jellyblast 3.5 with kuro kernel.....
Hey! Buddy I am on my other Galaxy Y it is working super fine with your hell fusion kernel with creed rom 3.5.....

uou can do ythe following-
1-extract dhd.ko from the stock rom and place it in system/lib/modules
2-reflash rom

Wow....
I told them that my was not working since a week I saw they flashed stock rom (it could be DDLA3) now updated DDLK1.....
They told me it was a minor issue and not a driver problem bcoz i thought be4 I alsi had a hard brick on it......
