[Q] Can you customise the status toggles?` - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, so I now have my lovely Nexus 4 and the OTA update is on. I was wondering if there is a way to customise the new status toggles. I would like to rearrange them and remove the Google+ link to 'me'. I'm sure someone will mod it in time if not but I was just wondering if there is a way and I'm just not finding it.

Cyanogenmod as well as all the other Roms have that option, otherwise stock doesn't have that.

[Q] Porting CM6.1 Notification Bar Power Widget to Stock Roms?

So I've recently stumbled upon these threads -->
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=826675
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=836721
and saw that some other developers have managed to port the notification bar power widget from CM6.1 to Sense-based stock roms for other devices. Is this possible/is anyone working on something like this for the Legend? I don't yet have the required skill set to attempt it myself but I do think that many people would appreciate something like this
It's possible, and I'd like to try it. I don't have the time at the moment, sorry
Hey TGF, any progress at this?

[Q] Which ROM removes quick setting toggles from Notification Pulldown?

Hey folks, this is NOT a "which ROM is best" thread. I'm looking for a feature that almost no ROM's have, anywhere. So rather than flash 20-30 ROM's to find it, I'm hoping someone might already know.
Which snapdragon Note 4 ROM has the option to remove all the toggles from the notification pulldown?
As you can see in my screenshot below, I like to remove the toggles and brightness slider and then I use Notification Toggles app to add my own custom toggles, some of which TouchWiz is not capable of.
how to take a screenshot on a pc
FYY, Dynamic Kat ROM now does this on TMO Note 4.

[Q] Remove Quick Settings from Notification Panel?

I want to get rid of the quick settings from the notification pulldown. Stock rom, rooted.
Can't seem to find anything that will do it (XPosed, etc.) besides flashing a custom rom. Any ideas?

I'm on a stock note 4 nonroot and want to get rid of this awful samsung notification panel too. Let me know if you find an answer.
Anyone out there that can advise?
I've been looking, not for getting rid of it but changing it at least. I really don't know why they take a really functional, nice looking version from aosp and then ruin it with their changes.
have you tried going into the notifications settings, and just removing all the active quick setting tiles so they don't show up?

Q. How to change the drop down menu completely to stock android?

Hi guys,
I bought a new note 4 yesterday, after my note 3 is dead.
I was used to install cyanogenmod rom when I buy a new galaxy phone.
I like to be on stock android like nexus devices.
This time! I don't what to install cyanogenmod to my new note 4 from many reasons, I like the s pen features and fingerprint scanner! But still I want the look and feel of stock android!
I can install theme "material theme" and nova luncher or Google now luncher to change the look. The look will change to a good point but the notifications on status bar and drop down menu won't change of course. They will be touchwiz style!
Also I can change the status bar icons to be like stock with xposed modules, but the pull down menu! Still I don't figure it out.
Is that possible to change it completely? The look and functionality?
And for the notifications, can we change samsung style small notifications on status bar to big drop down notifications like on stock?
I hope to not forced to install a custom rom!

SystemUI / Good Lock etc.

Hi all,
A newbie question to the Android experts. I have read in many forums that a rooted device is needed in order to change and/or customize status bar icons. However, Samsung Good Lock app was able to do this on an un-rooted device. Good Lock app provided AOSP status bar icons and I loved it. The stock Samsung network and WiFI icons are super hard to see and quite frankly ugly. The wifi icon is half the size because of the ridiculous up/down arrows underneath the icon.
I have been looking for a replacement app like Good Lock but no luck. I tried Status and Material Status apps but they are buggy and don't work all the time. More over, they render another status bar on top of an existing one.
How was Good Lock app able to do this on a non-rooted device? I presume it was able to replace the SystemUI?What does it take to build an app like Good Lock? Anyone knows how it was accomplished or if it's possible?
Thanks for your time.
