[Q] Removing play store balance on nexus 7? - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi! I live outside of the US and I registered my credit card under comgateways address in order to get the $25 credit. But I now have only $0.90 left for my balance and would be impossible to purchase any apps with it. I would like to continue purchasing apps using my credit card now but I dont want it to charge to comgateways address. So I removed my card and tried registering it again but I cant seem to put my Singapore address as it fixed on US as the country due to my remaining balance. So is there any way to remove the balance??
Total newb here so would appreciate any help! thanks!

Can't register card(s) in Marketplace. (UK unlocked TMobile on three)

Hi Guys,
Just bought the Hero on ebay the other day. Locked to TMobile, but got it unlocked and it works now on three just fine.
Did a Hard Reset, registered eith Google, can access Marketplace and download etc. fine.
BUT
When I actually try and make a purchase I get to the point where I enter all my card details etc. Then hit the Save button.
Waits a while with saving credit card and then comes back saying :
"A server error has occured. Retry or Cancel"
Tried a couple of cards...
It a UK phone, I'm in the UK. Have both WiFi and Mobile Data enabled. But no luck...
Only thing I can think of at the moment, was that the device already had a different google account registered when I got it. The Reset should have that taken care of.
I'm actually looking to spend money (on copilot), but can't...
Not even sure who would be the correct people to contact for support. HTC, Google ?
By the way, apart from this I'm loving it. Probably get the wife one.
Thanks,
Zuber
It'll be a google, not HTC thing.
What kind(s) of card are you using? I believe google checkout doesn't like maestro cards.
Have you tried registering your card through your computer?
Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking it might be something to do with three or tmobile as well. Tried mastercard and amex as well.
I did not realise you could enter details on a PC. Could you please exlpain how. URL etc. We talking Google checkout ?
Thanks.
Zuber
Yep. Google checkout and register cards has done it.
Even google checkout won't accept some of my cards (amex). Strange...
Thanks.

[Q] Adding a credit card to Marketplace

Okay so I went to add a credit card to buy apps from the market place and everything seemed to work until the end when it asked what payment choice I wanted it still only had to charge my service provider. Anybody else having this problem?

Google Wallet problems?

I've had my Nexus 4 for a little more than a month now and I recently just tried google wallet yesterday. When I got my phone begining of december I set up google wallet and I had no problems during the setup. Yesterday I went to Wawa and I'm like ok I think its time to test out google wallet. It says I need to input my pin on google wallet after I tapped it at the register, I selected my card on google wallet and at the register it asked me if it was debt or credit, I chose debt (as my card is a debt card) and it promted me to put my pin in, after I did the cashier said it wouldn't accept it. I've heard of the att and tmobile new micro sims have ISIS built in that blocks google wallet, but I don't have a newer micro sim. I have a older T-mobile sim card from about a year and a half ago (standard size not micro) and I cut it to fit my nexus 4. Anyone else having this problem?

You should run it as Credit. If you run it as Debit, technically you'd need a pin to complete the transaction, right? Upon selecting your card when you set up Wallet, a virtual credit card is automatically created that is linked to your debit card -- there's no PIN involved here. When you select Wallet to pay, all the merchant sees is the virtual credit card that's been set up for you.
I've used Wallet a few times and the transactions are seamless. Just tap (technically place) down on the NFC enabled platform and then go.
ISIS is only currently in select markets, so I don't imagine them offering ISIS sims in markets where there IS no ISIS.

[Q] Taking my D800 abroad

Hey XDA -
Okay so long story short I'm going on vacation to Italy for 2 weeks and I don't want to be without a phone while I'm there. I'm going to go to the AT&T store tonight after work to SIM unlock my phone because for whatever reason their online form doesn't want to recognize my IMEI number, I just need some help with the next step. I've been reading online a bunch, and from what I've come across it seems like I can either buy an Italian SIM card ahead of time and just plug it in when I get there, or I can go to any cell store there with my passport and pick up a prepaid sim card with voice & data on it. Either way is fine, I just don't want to pay $100 for something ahead of time that I can get on the spot there for like €20.
I'm honestly 100% clueless to this otherwise I wouldn't be asking, has anyone had any experience with this that they can shed some light and help a brotha out??

[Help needed] Is it possible to transfer an activated card in Google Pay from OnePlus

Hello guys, so my problem is that i was using revolut through googlepay with no problems on my OP6 and i had activated my card in there approx 2 years ago. Problem is i am trying to activate the SAME card on my new OP8Pro and it fails miserably. Is there any way to copy and "verification" files from OP6 to OP8P? Any other suggestion to make this work is always welcome. (PS: both phones are not rooted)
Hi. I had the same problem 6 months ago. If your Revolut card is registered in a non authorized country you can not activate it anymore. Or I don't succeed.
I don't know a method to transfer the authorization from your old phone.
What I did is take a Curve card, put the Revolut as default card and made the Gpay authorization with the Curve.
It works since without any problems.
Did it to WearOs also

How does it fail? If safety net works (non rooted) then surely it'd be a case of contacting recolut?
Chances are your card will be expiring at some point anyway so this was going to happen sooner or later

I already contacted Revolut and they told me that I am not living in the supported countries of gpay. Yes I am not rooted. My card will expire in 4 years, so you guess I would like to use it till then ?

Registered in Bulgaria. But for me it worked only after I received the physical card. I was unable to activate/use the Curve account before.

I don't know, I hope it works after I order the physical card. My last option as I read somewhere else, would be to change my Revolut address to a gpay country, then create a new virtual card, register it in gpay, then change address back. Apparently it has to do with Revolut mostly and the number that the card will be generated. I don't want to have to reach the point that I have to do this, as I use Revolut as my main bank and in case it raises any alarms about that changes of addresses I could end up with a frozen account.
