I have spent the last few weeks checking around. The quick answer is you don't. Lg dose not offer it. I looked up http://www.squaretrade.com/smartphone and most of the other ones. Average cost is $75-100 + $100 deductible. That brings the total clam to 225. For 75 You can just get a new one. If someone else has any other suggestions please correct me. This is the US dollar I'm talking about.

Check with your Homeowner's or Renter's Insurance Company, some will include it on your policy with a minimum deductible.

This is the one I bought for my GSM gal nexus. It cost 50 bucks for a (at the time) 400 dollar device and 50 bucks per claim. I still have 6 months left on it because I paid for a year at a time. I was told I can transfer it to a new phone without any issues. So when My N4 gets here that is exactly what I am going to do.

Well, since T-Mobile is selling the unlocked Nexus 4, it SHOULD be covered by Premium Handset Protection. I doubt they'll be able to tell who you purchased it from. It will show up on T-Mobile.com that you are using a Nexus 4.

That makes sense. Sorry, I'm a little slow today. I'm behind on sleep after camping the Play Store yesterday to order the Nexus 4.
okay that cool for a Nexus 4 on T-Mobile, but what about a Nexus 4 on "StraightTalk" wireless?? (that walmart brand phone carrier thing that has very cheap monthly bills)
I feel you there I spent about 4 hours refreshing every 5 mins. Then there server cashed like 4 time. I took screen shots of everything. Because the transaction was disappearing from Google Wallet. I got on that's all that matters.

Newegg has the Galaxy Nexus for 449, looks like if you wanna get a simple mobile sim with it, the package is only 439, not sure if they require you to activate through them, or if you can just buy it for 439 and toss the sim, either way here's there link

Pre-order the EVO LTE from Wirefly (Upgrade Price) for $139.
Thought I would pass this along, updates from Wirefly as we get them.
Price is now $139.
It will save you some $ over paying retail.

Best buy has it for the same price. If you preorder it, they'll give you a $50 gift card that I believe you can use towards the phone when it comes in.
Isn't the $119 price for new Sprint customers only?
Just checked - apparently it isn't only for new customers. I got it to work for me, and I selected "upgrade a line", not "new line."

Seems to depend on the Best Buy. I got nothing when I went there, they said they stopped doing that with this phone. I will get my gift card "with the purchase of the EVO 4G LTE" as the sign states (basically, when I go pick it up). Seems some BB employees are confused. I wish mine were, haha.
Amazon also has otterbox cases for pre-order.

1) I had the same thing when I first went on and was confused. Then I went to the link on the OP, and it pulled up an offer for a Verizon phone in an area code I was unfamiliar with. I went to "change carrier" and went to Sprint, then went to "change phone" and picked the EVO 4G LTE. I then saw it came up as $119. I thought to myself "oh, it must be area-code specific." But for fun, I then changed the area code to mine. It then popped up as $119 in my area as well. Somehow, that link is magical.
2) They ship on release day. So you can expect your phone 1 - 3 days later. Maybe 4 with the weekend...

Yes I used my 2 year upgrade to get it. Also it was also a business account and it was not charged to the account (I checked)

Tell you what, buy back your Note 2 and I'll take the free Note 3. You just got a more advanced phone for free and cash for your old one, how can you seriously be complaining? You're probably the only one who has gotten an absolute free N3 and aren't happy. That's like saying..oh no...I won the lottery but now I have to pay taxes on it, darn. -_-

Ya I didn't want to add that to my companies monthly bill!
Are you sure it was free? There is a program called next where the sales tax is charged at point of sale and then an installment plan is added for 20 months...
There is also a bug right now at Corp stores where sometimes sales tax is not charged on a transaction...
I'm a great salesman and part of being one is knowing every deal and offer... that's the only way I know where the note would be free.
Don't get me wrong I love the next program but this sounds like possible bait and switch...
If this happened to you, you will notice a 35 dollar increase in you bill and a lack of the standard upgrade fee.
Trust me, I am a retail sales person at a Corp store. It sounds like they signed you up for next which is an installment plan that raises bill. It gives a one year upgrade option but it should only be sold to someone that wants it.

I called AT&T, instead of the insurance company. First time (headphone jack), the rep said it was still under AT&T's warranty. Second time (water damage), the rep said it would be a pain to go through the insurance company & they could replace it , but would have to charge the deductible. I asked could he waive it. He checked with the manager & he ok'd it, even sent the replacement overnight.

That makes more sense. I've never had an issue getting a phone replaced within a year from AT&T, some had physical damage to the housing. Water damage would be pretty iffy, but as long as you have documentation, I don't see how they can charge you. I've never paid for insurance, so I don't have experience with that process.

Can you please give more in-depth instructions on how to do this?
I'm ordering my phone through ATT, but am interested in the memory card (I already have a Moto 360 2nd gen and am quite pleased with it, so no need for the Gear S2).

Man... I preordered the S7 Edge through BestBuy and it was a total mess.
They took damn near a month after release to get the phone out to many people... So many delays... So many issues with them...
If you want to return, you only have 14 days - I had to argue with them to return my first device (due to small issue) but they refused at first saying it was past 14 days. I told them it was past 14 days because THEY took forever to ship it out to me. They ended up giving me a replacement but told me I wouldn't be able to return that replacement to them.
They have good promotions and free stuff but Best Buy Customer Service is abysmal. Seriously!!
I think the best deal I've seen so far (in the US) is from Sam's Club - google it and check it out.
Who knows if Best Buy is going to make the same mistakes when this phone is released.
I ordered mine thru Target. They are giving a $100 gift card and giving you $200 gift card to trade in a old phone. Hard to beat $300 and I'll still order the sd card, once I get my phone.

target is cheaper with the $100 gift card (comes to $809). I assume you can still get the 256mb SD card direct from Samsung?
how good are they on dates on preorders and does anyone know what their return policy is?

That is the only question. I've never dealt with them before with cell phones, so I can't answer that.

Do you have the link for the $200 phone turn in? I couldn't find that?
Sure here is the link:

The best buy deal if you do it in store you will get your watch or mem card the day you pick up the phone. Heck you can get a s7 edge with that deal right now.
Not all targets have support att

Another limitation of the Note 7 deal at target is that you cannot turn in a phone to them. If you are on a next plan, and eligible for an upgrade, but have not yet paid off your full plan, they cannot sell you a Note 7 on that line. I was told only AT&T stores and Best Buy can do that. So if you own your phone ourtight, then you can do the target (and Sam's Club) deals, if are currently on a Next plan, you cannot use them.
1 line of mine is ok, but the other I am going to have to go somewhere else.

Interesting, one question I have is: Can we pay additional money on the phone to lower the monthly payment? I know that AT&T allows you to do this but I am not sure, if the others do.

With a similar offer last month on the s7, they said that I could have used the trade in gift card as a down payment and reduced my monthly payment... so, I imagine that the u can do down payments.
Best Buy already shipped my watch. No need to even go to the Samsung site.

Best Buy DOES NOT.
