[REQUEST] PLEASE ORGANIZE the THREADS & TRY TO KEEP DEV SECTION CLEAN!

this is a sincere request...
instead of everyone starting a new thread when a FW get released & then creating another one for posting the rooted system.img here is wht i suggest:
Someone please take responsibility to maintain a single [FIRMWARE] THREAD where the OP (1st post) will contain links to latest FW available for d/l... when someone gets hands on newest FW they can post links to it in this firmware thread & the same person or other can post rooted system.img (if required for those who dont want to use prerooted-custom kernels) in same thread... also whenever there is a new FW (generic/branded/regional) available instead of posting it in other sections they can post it in this Dev thread... currently these are getting posted at various places (general section/etc) so all those searching for these FW/FTF files can find it easily...
also we can have a nice tagging system..
e.g.:
Arc-> [FIRMWARE][ARC] Latest FW: 4.0.A.2.368 [Update: 01-Aug]
Neo-> [FIRMWARE][NEO] Latest FW: 4.0.A.2.368 [Update: 01-Aug]
that way it will be easier to follow and search for info when new FW gets released...
i really hope that someone takeS responsibility for creating and maintaining this kind of thread for each Xperia 2011 device...
we had similar thread for X10 and it made life a LOT easier!
hope this will be helpful... once such a thread is formed i request the mods to please delete this thread so as to decrease clutter in the DEV section!

actually what i personally feel is that all the Xperia 2011 devices can be clubbed under a single sub forum and then make sub-sub forums for each device... OR just keep the 5 basic sub-sections (Dev/General/themes/Q&A/Accessories) and then everyone should tag the threads properly with device ID... e.g.: say if u want to start a Arc related thread then just start the thread title with [ARC]...
cause if u see most of the things are common for Arc/Play/Neo (and even the new Xperia Mini/Mini Pro/Ray) {though i could be wrong} but all of these do share the same kernel source

okay folks, im willing to take some responsibility here and admit that i have not been paying this section enough attention.
the thread for stock fw's is a great idea and i will happily sticky it and help to maintain it.
i will ask about a Neo subforum.

A forum/subforum for the Neo has been added to the list of new forums.
I dont know if it will be a complete device forum or just a subforum under the Arc section and I dont know when it will appear but it will be something.

My thread (modified Galnet MIUI rom) deleted without any warning

So guys what you think about current andministrators and moderators? Is it ok? So question is why my thread is deleted and who deleted my thread???

You may not have been following xda rules regarding uploading etc.

I want an answer from a guy who did this and his explanation (what rules I breaking in my post?).

nah, jokes beside.. If your thread got removed without a message regarding why, you should have the right to demand it.. Threads disappearing for no reason would be weird.

They are not allowed on XDA as off this morning.

I removed your thread because it has come from way above me that no Galnet MIUI ROMs are to be permitted on XDA.
That being said, I am awaiting a response from those same higher-up's to verify that my actions are justified. If they happen not to be, I will gladly reinstate your thread.

First as you stated in the threads OP, this was not your development. So saying you lost 8 days developing this rom is just non sense.
Second Galnet roms have been banned from XDA all together due to charging people for access to roms.
So in closing Galnet roms are not allowed on XDA. Nor are you allowed to link to the roms on Galnet.
Use their site if you want to work on their roms.

im sorry for disagreeing,
but not all people use thier brains and look that there is a Q&A thread,
some people are just plain ignorant to read the threads,
this will not reduce the 1,000,000 threads on "HELP!", "PLZ ME PONE BRIK"
we now have a Q&A section,
lets utilize it for its purpose

But still, please ask nonsense questions like "which is the best rom"...it just irritates me when they create a new thread for this....!

[SHARE] Xperia Overlay for Ray

I just got this link from xperia overlay's page on facebook. There's no info about the rom but one thing's for sure it has been posted by some users for free since xperia overlay website failed for post the free versions on the date which they promised which was last May 25th.

this is a cross device concerning news. but since this also concerns 2 specific device I also posted this to the ray gen sec. now as you can read on my post, im waiting for the mods to decide which post should I delete.

It's a development section and this thread is far from being one.
