Sorry for being an idiot in the middle of this celebration, now that X10 is getting officially Gingerbread...
I have a broken heart right now. My X10 was stolen this morning.
I didn't have an insurance plan so they can't give a new one... I already went to the police, but nothing...
You see it guys? How ironic the life can be sometimes. My X10 is stolen the same day Gingerbread is officially announced...
Guys, Im very broken-down, Im really depressed. Hope not bothering with this thread, but I only wanted to let you know, and give you an advise: take care a lot of your X10 and enjoy it now more than anything.
Congrats to SE, and for this great decision, Im gonna really consider to get Neo or XPlay at the end of this year.
And thanks all the devs for all their wonderful work. I learned a lot about Android and I really enjoyed it.
Also, thanks to all guys that helped me and share my point of view. And thanks to those who were against me too, at the end it was good to debate.

Report it to your carrier. It's pretty obvious where your phone is being used to them, since they have the IMEI number. And, if they can't get it back, they can at least ban the IMEI from the network, making it useless for the guy who stole it!
Guys, thanks for your support. Im much better now, my girl and my friends have bring me back. I won't get back my X10, I know it, but life goes on, doesn't it?
Im still kinda sad, I really miss my Xperia... But hey, there are good news; now that SE has given a good step and took the right decision, Im looking at Neo or XPlay as I said before, but I have a special interest in Neo (I don't really like Arc). I calculate Im gonna have it at the end of this year, or probably before, I still don't know.
And yes, I already reported my X10 to my carrier, I asked for blocking the IMEI, hope that works.
But I still say bye 'cause I can't participate for now on this forum since I don't have a X10 anymore. See you later, future Neo/Xplay owners

I hear ya! But...with my 32 gig class 10 card being tossed into the Sensation, and addition of unlocked bootloader, I have NO care for the Hercules. That's why I passed up the G2X, also. MAN!!!! This phone is ALREADY smokin, and it's totally virgin! You take it easy, too! Hope to see you around the forum!

Just picked up the sensation today for my son. Really great phone. Excellent choice. And I just heard that htc will be unlocking the bootloader in the next update. I can wait. Hell, it took samsung, what, six months to get froyo out. I'm patient.

I personally, don't like HTC phones (I don't know why, just a dislike, I've had a MyTouch 4G, and a G2, and for some reason, I don't like them), and have ordered the Samsung Galaxy S 2.
It sucks that I'll have no 3G (doesn't matter), but I'll have an AMAZINGLY fast phone. ^^

Right, bad new for me... My MD has decided today that everyone has to have a BB 9900, so my S2 which was going to be with me tomorrow is no more... To say I'm upset and pissed off would be an understatement, but alas, nothing I can do about it...
So if I hang around here beyond now it would be seen as a bit weird and creepy, so it's goodbye all... I won't miss the repetitive posts and questions, but I will miss the great humour and pen craft...

New BB arrived today, still hasnt been configured but I had a quick play...
Design is the usual, but back to the original width so larger than the recent ones... It is the thinnest one ever though... Feels well built and looks pretty smart... Keyboard does feel like the best BB one yet, but the keys above them are shiny so show fingerprints... Back is weird if you ask me... The battery cover is basically clear plastic/glass over a textured surface, again finger prints, but different I suppose...
Now then, OS7... What can I say? Same'ol'same old...As crap as ever but with a brand new lick of paint... Touchscreen works, but I just thought, what's the point really...
Read a post over at crackberry and some guy got rid of his S2 for one of these things... We might have some intellectually challenged members, but what does that make him?!
Anyway, I'd like to introduce you all to a great new charity... It's called the 'Get Caspa an S2 as his work decided to get him a BB 9900 at the last minute Fund', a great cause as he shouldn't have to suffer in this way... I'm sure you'll agree...
Rest assured, 100% of donations will go to the fund and remember, YOU can make a real difference in Caspa's life...

Don't you have a mobile of your own mate or do you just rely on your job to provide you with a phone?You can get the GS2 for free on contract in UK if you cant afford to purchase it outright although i always recommend purchasing outright and avoid long contracts.
Even if i had a job that provided a phone id still ensure i had my own phone and it wouldn't be a bloody iPhone or Blackberry either.

Hello my friends here at XDA!!
It brings me great sadness to say you wont really really see much of me round here for a while. I originally planned to make this thread in about a weeks time when i leave for my holiday to Florida for 2 weeks but im going to post now as today i have sent my beloved X10 for repair due to accidental damage. My x10 is not due back till wednesday, the day before i leave for my holidays.
This leaves me phoneless, i do not own a laptop and tbh i rarely have the patentience to use my **** old pc which sounds like its about to take off with the fan spinning so loudly! I odnt know if any of you notice but 99.999999999% of my posts and pm come from my xda premium app or tapatalk for this very reason!
On the plus side when i get back from my holidays i will be up for an upgrade on my contact and be able to get a better newer phone. When i find something i really like and want i will be leaving you guys. I will pop in of course to 'visit' and when i can i shall post before my holidays. I have a full time job and girlfriend and fairly active social life so dont expect to see much of me is all im saying and when the time comes to move on permananltly il leave you all know.
So really this is just to say you wont see much of me round here for perhaps about 3 weeks give or take a few days.

I want something brand new, not that sgs 2 is old but i want cutting edge newt time around and to follow developemt from the start. I dont like touch wiz and if i were to flash custom rom id want it to be like wb rom, remaining close to stock looks.

Well i hope you get a phone sorted quick and that you enjoy your hols, maybe when you get back you can sort out another cheap x10 so you can play around with the unlocked bootloader with us all but if you get upgraded maybe you will not want to bother as you will have something better, well hopefully.

oh dont worry first thing I did when I got home was root it and try out codeworkx's cm9. Besides the little bugs I love it, cant wait till the official release!!! That was a big part of me getting the phone, it'll have ICS on it way before the tmobile gs2!!

First of all, congratulations on getting your new phone. I can only say that this phone is still one of the best out there, especially for the developments made for this phone (credits to the developers). For me, it was my 1st android phone. So, I had a pretty long time searching for what I can do to this phone to bring out it's inner capabilites. One of them, is to root your phone and install ROMs inside. Since I love to customize my phone, I feel that rooting is essential for me and went ahead to root my phone. If you are considering about rooting your phone, do take note that the warranty will most probably be void

I received the i9100 as a gift and I use it on T-Mobile, and it sucks to be stuck in 2G. I love this phone to bits, but I'm looking forward to an upgrade so that I can hand this down to my girlfriend since she's on AT&T.
