I've bricked my asus, i can enter just in apx mode, no fastboot no adb and no nvflash, there is a way to flash a recovery to unbrick it in apx mode?
do you have any news? i've got the same problem. i've got APX mode only
same here bricked asus tf300t stock recovery and apx mode.. need help :crying:
only APX needs the NVflash backups. If you dont have them before a brick only Asus can help you.

Connect your phone to pc via cable..keep the power button pressed and when it turns off, press volume up and hold it until the phone starts..and maybe it will enter in download mode... I was stuck to fastboot too some months ago and this worked for me
I have a big problem here and I don't have idea of what to do!, I was searching for custom kernels and I found this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2732648, but I did the stupidest thing I've ever done, because this kernel is for a D802 and a have a VS980 :crying: . I was hoping to be able to restore a backup that I made with twrp before I flash that wrong kernel but Now my phone only boot in fastboot mode and it won't entry into recovery :crying: . I tried a lot of things to boot it up but it just get stucked into that ugly fastboot screen. Then I read that I could flash the right boot image from fastboot, but I'ts just impossible to get my phone recognized by my computer, as any time I enter the command "adb devices" nothing but the message "list of devices attached" appears. I have windows 8.1, I have installed the PdaNet drivers, Universal adb drivers, LG page drivers, the samsung drivers that someone tell me wil work, and it just don't recognize the phone! Please help me :crying: :crying:
Sorry for the bad English

(URGENT) HARDBRICK ... Please help me. I installed a custom kernel in the AICP rom, but I installed it on the recovery partition. The phone now turns on but does not leave the leeco screen. It does not go into recovery or fastboot mode. I've downloaded the Qualcom QPST tool but I do not know how to use it or the files I need ... Does anyone have a solution?

As said, the device does not leave the screen of the leeco, does not start in recovery and fastboot mode. So there is no way I can restore using TWRP. The device is recognized only by the qualcom tool. I need a guide on how to use it. Anyway, thank you for your time.

How are you trying to boot
How to rooted it..? Help me
Hi, so my G6 is quite laggy so I thought maybe reflashing the firmware may help but the problem is, I can't boot into Download Mode. I tried it doing the normal way, with hardware buttons and I tried the adb command and with both methods phone still boots as normal. C

Download Mode? I don't think non-Samsung phones have a download mode, do you mean fastboot mode? If you unlocked the bootloader, Install LG usb drivers and use 'adb reboot-bootloader' to reboot into fastboot mode, from here you can use 'fastboot flash recovery XXX.img' to flash a twrp image and use TWRP to install ROMs
I've had a few lg phones and from a power off state just hold volume down and plug the usb in while it's connected to the computer.
I might be remembering that wrong, try volume up and plug as well.
My current lg has no development so it's been a while

Yes, I do mean download mode. LG has Download Mode. TWRP won't help, because stock LG firmware is in .kdz.

I'll be damned I actually tried to just to an upgrade with LG UP without booting into download mode by myself and it reflashed the firmware! I did an factory reset after that and now let test if it still lags.
