I have seen so many defy ( green lense 525 ) with BL 7 version having froyo stock rom. One of my Friend has told me that he has officially updated his defy with Authorised Service Centre, Mumbai, India. Most probably MOTOROLA might have issued new sbf with BL7 for defy mb 525. More ever I have seen Super User Icon with these defy's so this sbf may be rooted one.:laugh: If it is so can anybody will upload this new sbf for motorola mb 525 green lense.. :good:I will confirm the same when I will be having leave on working day so that I can visit ASC, Mumbai, India.

Edit :- Bootloader in those defy's showing BL 9.10 , Any one XDA Member from India having such defy, Please confirm!!!!!
I have defy Green lens and Full Flash SBF DFP231 BL7 .
Now my battery wont charge.
Please Upload Froyo SBF on BL7.Please!

hello, i had installed cyanogenmod7.1 some days before on my motorola defy(mb525) but now i want to downgrade back to froyo. plz give me a link of appropriate .sbf with motoblur..........when i buyed my defy i was fully upgraded i.e to froyo 2.2 .

you can use froyo sea
or 3.4.2_179 european(cee)
if i use any other file, will it brick my phone.....coz there are too many or is it illegle to use them.

Is there a "bulletproof" method to find out which is the BL level of my Defy+
I actually use an Android 2.3.6 from Vodafone Italy (my carrier) I flashed myself taking it from this thread.

That Vodafone Italy firmware from that thread is DFP-139, that's BL6.
DFP-188, DFP-231 and DFP-2311 are the three latest firmwares and they are BL7.
The RSD Lite recognises my phone:

IMEI/ESN/MEID: N / A

everything is N/A.....wat does it imply? is the motherboard corrupted...hav i lost my defy? every sbf file i try it fails with error... failed flashing processPhone[0000].Eroor sending TIROM packet request API Error: 0xE003009F(0xE003109F);phone connected

Pls share some more info.. How ur phone becomes bricked / not booting?
Its defy mb 525 or 526? Have u flashed non downgradable mb 526 sbf on mb 526 ??
Have u visited moto authorised service centre??? *** I know moto autho service centre provides very poor service
There is Hope as ur pc is detecting ur defy.... Let me know above :good:

srry fr incomplete info its mb525...i flashed da wrong rom i suppose and den tried to flash the south east asia rom JRDNEM_U3_3.4.3-36-1.7.sbf since den my phone does not boot up....no bootloader no recovery...nothin.....i made a moto factory cable thru which my phn is recognised by rsd lite......i went to da authorised center....as m outta warranty dey are charging rs 4500 bucks to replace the motherboard but as my phn is recognised by rsd lite it implies my mother board hasnt crashed..

Dude dnt just keep on adding new threads for same problem.
U just have to flash the proper sbf for it.

flash the last working ROM on your phone ...
If anyone knows a solution about my Moto Defy...got bricked ..flash with Rsd an sbf (with blur) that worked finally...BUT now i cannot sign in and it says..there is a problem with your clock on your device. please contact customer service ...Pull bat..change sim..reboot...nothing changed...before trying finding another sbf , is there any suggestion? Ty...
