i need help! when i was using jromflasher and wipe everything and boot loop. i only see google with white letters and black background. i did not put custom rom on the nexus 7. how can i fix this?

sigh, you uninstalled the operating system... you can't just use the tool without flashing a custom rom i think. you seems to be able to boot into bootloader, so use this tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1766475 and you should be back running in no time.

i am able to boot into bootloader or cmw but i did not put custom rom in it. i use this tool...same happen.
you will have to flash a rom to use your phone again.. so if you have a custom recovery you can use adb to transfer a rom to your internal sd card and flash it in recovery or you you can use the toolkit to flash stock in fastboot mode

how can i do adb? im not sure if the nexus 7 is on usb debugging. its really messed up.

I tried to install a new rom after updating TWRP 2.3.0.0. after all was complete it stuck on the boot screen. I then tried with the Nexus Root Toolkit to use a restore from backup. Same problem. I then tried to flash stock and unroot. Same problem. I then tried a number of things through TWRP from backups I had their. Same problem. At present I have no OS and I can only boot into TWRP, turn if off or look at the GOOGLE screen. I have run out of ideas and would appreciate any help offered.
If you have tried everything else (flashing a ROM zip etc.) Then you should flash the factory image from Google.
Don't use the script/batch file as that will wipe your internal storage.
Just flash system and boot.

Sometimes a rom takes a long time to boot for the first time, please be very patient. Also, try wiping everything from /system, and then re install a custom rom from your /sdcard partition. also make sure your roms are for the nexus 7 not galaxy nexus or other similar devices. ONE MORE THING 4.1.2 wont flash with 4.1.1 bootloader.

There was a bug in TWRP V2.3.0.0 use fastboot to flash V2.3.1.0 and then reflash the rom

I know many people hate the talk about toolkits but I was in the same situation and I used Wug's toolkit and it saved me. I downloaded 4.1.2 image directly from Google, as the toolkit only has 4.1.1.
I tried to return to stock on my own and it just went from bad to worse. I would of spent more time trying to fix it on my own but I was on a very tight time constraint. It will unroot your device but it is easy to root again.

THANK YOU the "ONE MORE THING" is all I needed to know for the same problem!
So I was trying to install ubuntu and my usb fell out of the nexus and It managed to delete all my files except bootloader and TWRP Recovery manager. I have no boot or anything. When I try to flash stock via fastboot with a toolkit it fails at writing system data. I'm not quite sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated.
Its a Nexus 7 32GB 4.2.1
EDIT: So my bootloader boots. I have to do a temp flash to recovery via a nexus 7 toolkit. And all my backups are gone, and when I try to click any command in TWRP, It says it cannot mount /sys, /data/, /cache, etc.. I'm not quite sure how to go about fixing all of this.
When I try to flash stock, the bootloader freezes up and doesnt flash it.

Have you tried to flash Ubuntu again?
Can you boot to recovery? I assume yes from what you say, i'd wipe everything and restore the backup i'm sure you made.

I can boot to recovery but it deleted my backups. I dont even know how it did that.

It seems that I have CWM and recovery installed on my Nexus 4. I was on TWRP previously and switched to CWM, now it seems that it is stucked.
I erased recovery in command prompt and flash it with CWM after installing stock ROM but ROM Manager still detected TWRP. How do I get rid of TWRP?

try flashing stock recovery via adb
If you reboot into recovery does CWM come up or TWRP? If it's CWM then ignore ROM Manager and continue as normal

CWM comes up as the recovery because it's the latest one I flash. I know it might now matter but this really bugs me.
Dunno why you're using ROM Manager anyway, pointless piece of software IMO. Just flash everything manually

I was just checking out the app, don't really use it. That was when I saw two recoveries. I erased and flashed everything via adb previously. Just really wanna know the cause and how to get rid of it.

That's normal. I have it too. Just choose cwm on recovery already installed and leave it like that.

I accidentally wiped the OS from advanced wipe option. How do I get my phone to work again. I tried to operate adb sideload from recovery but it failed. I have downloaded the stock rom but I do not know how to install it.

Just flash it from custom recovery, so download it into ur phone go to recovery and simply flash it and all should be good.

Your phone should boot into recovery, so as long as it goes on and boots all u do u is use ur pc to move file over and flash it...

Boot into bootloader (hold power and system on), flash the though recovery through adb, mount your .zip,, flash your .zip through recovery. Sorry if that doesn't make sense, I've been drinking with the roommates, lol.

The same thing happened to me also! The whole /data (incl. sdcard) partition went corrupt (showed up in TWRP as eemc instead of ext4) & the /vendor failed to mount.
First I had to repair the /data partition (unfortunately the data was lost, as it repaired to a blank partition). I ended up having to go home (was at work at the time) & hook the phone up to the PC & download the ROM & transfer it onto the sdcard. I'm not entirely sure why/how this happened, but I believe it was because a corrupt vendor IMG. Although that theory doesnt include why the /data partition corrupted, it only explains why the /vendor partition failed to mount.

I have the same issue. The problem is, that my computer will not recognize the phone in bootloader mode or in recovery mode(MTP enabled). How can install usb drivers without being able to boot into phone OS???? I've tried Nexus Toolkit with no success. Please help?

Hi... Just boot into recovery and reflash system.img from the factory image of your choice in bootloader with fastboot. Also flash the vendor image from the same factory image. Done...
Or reflash the whole package with flash all (manually is better imho). But you'll waisted time... Let your phone reboot into Android and you'll have your internal storage back.

Yes TWRP has a reboot to bootloader option available. So you can access fastboot via bootloader to flash the necessary images. Just don't forget to re flash TWRP image again in case the stock recovery image was flashed beforehand.
The odd thing was that I did choose that option to boot to bootloader in twrp and it didn't work. I ended up having to reboot to bootloader manually. Not a big deal. All is working now, but thought that was interesting.

Exactly which partitions did you wipe? system? data? Internal Storage (userdata)? all of the above? Hopefully you did not wipe userdata (all your stuff). Were you on a stock ROM? You should be able to d/l the Google image from the same build you were on, extract system and data and fastboot flash those. Don't flash userdata. All your stuff should be there. Follow the tutorial on how to set up fastboot and selectively flash partitions.
