Its not worthless.u can have now the access of your root and u have the option to run or block the application which ask access from superuser.

wrong...
Use prompt,
Not allow or deny,
That way you can choose which app allow access to su also protects against malware
this post is approved by the national potato safety regulation
Simple...
If u want to use the app and sure that u installed it...then yes..
If u wonder something like this "hmm..
I didnt installed this app" or something like that..
Then deny ..
rooting is new for me...and i am noob to root...
If you want to use superuser option then you have to grant it. Nothing to worry bro it wont do any harm to you.
Thanx for rplying..!

maybe for my HTC thunderbolt but not his samsung galaxy s i told him to look for that first
I'm pretty sure I have read from somewhere that phones released for Verizon by Samsung don't allow you to install non-market applications (this is requested by Verizon, so it's not really Samsung's fault). The only way to have that feature is to flash some custom rom.
I watched a video on how to root this phone and there is a one click root and the program has a button that will change it so it will allow non market apps but I want to know if it has to be rooted or not to do it

For non-market apps your device doesn't have to be rooted.
Only if you want to use apps that require root.

Why not just use a file explorer with root rights to uninstall system apps by going to
/system/app and deleting it?
Odds are you'll have a file explorer already.. don't see the point in an entire separate app just for that purpose.
You can't do that when it is preinstalled into the framework of the settings of a rom
