Sup guys I know I'm not as active as I was before but that doesn't mean I can't create tension breaking threads for us to grow closer, right ? Ok, I've seen this thread in multiple device forums and for what it's worth, a device sucj as the X8 will have a lot of tales to spare. The rules are simple, just state something most rooted phone owners face .
I'll start.

you know you're rooted when you have to delete backups because you have no space left on your sd
You know your rooted when: You see someone on there phone and all you can think about is what rom there running.
You know you're rooted when you have more development apps than children have games.

could it be that i may of installed the wrong gapps?
Well i came to the conclusion thats installing the gapps was where i was going wrong. I now have it working and keyboard works fine now trial and error prevailed prob risky but hey figured it out in the end. I now have CM10 4.1 running on it if there any known issues maybe someone out there (if there is anyone besides me lol) would b kind enough to tell me and maybe advise me on another ROM or a better ROM to try. I just want to get a really good look and feel to my already great nexus 7. Kind Regards Sirus2012

Probably not spam. Translation maybe?
If you try flashing CM10 and you can't accomplish anything because your keyboard is force closing, it's probably your gapps.
You need the 4.1 gapps, not 4.2. CM10 is not 4.2.
That is all.
yeah..check your version..

Yes, you can install kernel zip files via recovery.
I know there are 2 methods mentioned here for rooting XXLS8 but this one is different
for this method , we gonna use SiyahKernel S2-v6.0beta4 which is originally done for XXLSJ ( leaked 4.1.2 )
but it's totally working for this Rom,too, I tested it and it's perfect !
Grab the kernel from here here
flash via odin , download here

I don't think so, because every customization that you do will require root permission
and it will work when the phone is rooted, so when you un-root the phone
the customization will be gone.

Your customisation won't necessarily disappear, but the functionality will probably stop, with many mods requiring rooting in the first place. Anyway, why would you want to unroot after going to the bother of rooting and customising? The alterations possible are endless!

Hey why other thread closed???
Just NFC didn't work.
Let me check this in detail hey it came with beutiful lockscreen
Keyboard fixed for continuous input
PLEASE DON'T PUT ANYTHING HERE TO MAKE FLAME, WILL UPDATE AS SOON AS I FIND NEW
DON'T ASK FOR RELEASE, LET ME FIRST CHECK IN DETAIL FIRST.
OK guys here answer to many posts..
1.First thing, I have made it deodexed, Prerooted and also before testing framed it in my ROM V1 aroma and flashed through it.
So
I can release it in 0 time, but I won't.
You can understand too many people are here for whom downloading 1GB ROM is not easy task. I don't want to do anything that I release it now and again after 5 hrs I may have to update ROM bcoz of fiasco.
Ablout ETA, just listen
-My download finished just before 4 hrs to writing this, couldn't touch it for next 1 hr bcoz of too many patients i have to check.
just finished everything and reported already one and half hour ago. And after that just had dinner and again here in office to move further
SO you can guess I am not just playing with new ROM and making others jelous. I am trying my best to give you complete ROM after series of tests. SO even it will be unfair to ask me for release in next 24hrs.
- I doubt about releasing Prerooted Odexed (at least before deodexed) bcoz of I didn't get tar file but got just System folder. and kernel and modem. so I don't want to waste my time in making prerooted, as it may or may not work.
-So, Any question regarding OTA will be ignored but yet I won't get irritate and stop working on it, I will release whatever happens in this thread. I bound to give my followers and can't stop by just few irrelevnt comments.
SO be happy, enjoy current ROM, keep eyes here about update, and who ask aboy ETA just link them to this thread.
Last but not least All credits goes to @Zanr Zij who bring this to us, kindly shower them with your greets and thanks.
Regards
