Hi,
Someone said that if Market is not installed on the phone, I should install it manually using Root Explorer, as I did. I've gone to system/app/vending.apk and installed it and It all goes well.
The problem occurs when I reboot or turn off my device, the market is again not showing in the App drawer, I've created the shortcut on desktop but when I click it it says that app is not installed, how can I fix this problem?
Thanks in advance!

Read this post and download his Dialer.apk:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44115073&postcount=38
Then you must re-enable root. Go to Settings > Developer Options > Root access. Change to Disabled. Reboot. Go back and re-enable root.
Now, use Root Explorer to copy the dialer.apk to /system/app. Change permission to Owner=Read/Write, Group=Read, Others=Read
Reinstall dialer.apk from the /system/app directory. Dialer/Phone should be ok now.
mmm this seems be hard
i prefer wait quarx fix this problem.
If someone have something more easily to solve the problem then put here please.
Thanks.
This will actually take about 5 mins to do. Don't need to be a dev to do this.
Sent from my MB526 using xda app-developers app
Yes but i think i will make a error doing this but i will try.
Edit: i made all correct like you said and when i click to call he saids the dialer stop working..
Thanks.
Another problem with 4.3
A fix has already been released.
I have another problem, though.
· If the right menu is slid down and the button with the 3g/2g network is pressed (the one that comes default with the name of the company), all the radios are shut off, and it's impossible to shut them on again. Not even rebooting. Had to reinstall CM10.2. I'm using the ROM without that button, just in case. This bug has been reported in the developer forum but I think it hasn't been given attention.
· And... I like using "My data manager"... a very famous data usage app. It just doesn't work, no data is gathered. However, Jelly Bean default data usage menu works, but I don't like that! Is this a known issue? Is there a fix??
Maybe I should have opened a new thread for this... I'm a noob
Thanks!
Hi all,
After upgrading to 4.4 some of my apps appear to be greyed out and when I click on it it says application not installed and takes me straight to the app store, heres the tricky part after I install the app it works however once I reboot my phone thats when the problem occurs and I can install but if I reboot yet again it repeats itself...

Looks like they are on external sd card and there is a read/write issue with some apps here.
If you are rooted there is a fix. Most custom roms include the fix though if you search you will find how to do it yourself.
Otherwise you will need to wait until the apps are updated and write to different partitiion
Hey not-i im on crash rom v6 and I was on his thread and another user installed a few of the apps and reported no probs, I hope it has to do with the apps not my at the least, thanks bro for ur help....
Hi guys! I've just updated my gallery app from a downloaded apk file. I thought that the new version have improved UI, new settings.... But nothing what I expected. Furthermore gallery disappeared from the app drawer. Even if I want to open it from camera, it doesn't. I went to application manager, tried to uninstall updates and phone reboots.
If someone has a solution for this, I'll appreciate!
May be a backup of stock gallery all would help!
Thanks!
hi
yesterday it worked for sure
today my mi-a1 asked me to restart due to system update
and now when i click on any link in the messages app it crashes
i also tried to open the messages through contacts+ app, clicking the links there also made it crash
i also updated the messages app to try and solve it, it didn't help
please check it on your phones
can you help?
1. Are You on stock, modified stock (rooted, magisk,...) or custom ROM?
2. Is it Your messaging app or web-browser that crashes?

its the messaging app that crashes not the browser, when i click on a link it doesn't get to the part when it opens the browser, it crashes b4 that part probably
just to be clear, like i get a text message from someone, i open the messages app and click on the text that is actually a link, then it crashes
Me and my friends have the same issue with the messages app and links clicking. Always getting an error message and the app getting crashed.
Is there any solution?
Yay, I'm not alone with this problem
Now maybe someone will look into it
My by pass solution is, you have to copy the entire text from that message cause you can't copy just the link, it will crash
So copy the entire message to a notes app
Then from it copy the link to a browser
Not fun at all, but it works…
I have the same problem. Not a rooted phone.
Please tell me if you have any solution.
Solved :cleared the data of the app
Settings- apps--data - clear data.
your'e a ****en genius!!!
it worked!!
i also noticed that this links problem happens in a couple of my apps on the phone, don't remember which right now
but when i'll see it i'll just go to clear its data :good:
