Mainboard for phone is the most expensive part of mobile phone. I dont know if buying that would be smart buy. You will be better off buying completely new phone, I think it will be cheaper.

Help Please!!!!!!!!1
I wish i could help, but finding parts for these are hard, especially the Orbit 2 version.
If you give up on the device, and wish to sell as parts i'm very interested as my screen is ruined with scratches, and parts are always handy
Model: xda o2 Orbit 2 (not the silver cruise, the other one)

Hey there!
Like many of you here, i have a S3 with a sudden death.
The thing is: i'm from Brazil and bought my phone in China, so the local authorized technical support refuses to help me, because he says it's very hard to register the IMEI number from a imported phone.
I think my only way out is to buy another motherboard and replace it myself, but again, i can't find any here in Brazil, so i'll have to buy from eBay on US and Canada or UK.
Anyone here knows to do it? I already teared my phone apart and know how to manually replace the board, but what about the IMEI number? It´s possible to do that?
There's any other problems or difficulties i might find on the way?
Thank you so much for all our help, you guys have been great here!
Anybody knnow of the best/cheapest place to get a complete assembly as I cracked my digitizer the other week. Thanks
Anyone?? Cheers.

Ebay?
Hi Mate,
Not Worth replacing mate, your best bet is to either:
Sell yours as spares or repairs, and buy a new one.
Or
Buy another N7, as Spares and repairs aslong as the fault isnt the screen.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Hi everyone,
As in my title you can understand, i have a nexus 4 with broken motherboard.
My phone is purchased from U.S., but i'm living in Turkey. So i can't send my phone back to U.S. to change it to a new one.
I have another option, to buy oem motherboard and replace it self in my home.
So i found the motherboard BUT, there are T-MOBILE NEXUS 4. But my nexus from Google.
My question is, will it work, if i buy this motherboard and replace it with my broken motherboard?
There is no difference between the nexus 4 from tmobile or Google.

I also live in Turkey , you should have shipped it back to where you bought it.
Call Google in these situations.
Hi All,
My Samsung S4 died recently and it does not turn on anymore. I took it to a Samsung workshop and they told me the motherboard got fried and it needs to be replaced. However, they would charge me about $300 for the repair, which of course I find it to be a total robbery. I have decided to take a step forward and repair it myself, which I found to be quite easy (I have already removed the motherboard myself). I have searched for replacement motherboards on eBay and found some in China for about $50. My questions are:
1. Is the motherboard replacement a simple "plug & play" matter or does it need to be programmed?
2. Where is the most recommended place to buy a motherboard for that model?
3. Any other watchouts/recommendations you have for me before I go ahead and buy the replacement?
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Yes, the motherboard is a "plug and play" replacement. The only thing you may need to do is update it to the latest ROM.
Make sure you do not get an s4 made for mainland china, verizon, AT&T, South Korea, and Sprint.
