so its the same soft with gsensor support or only some try???
OK now I see is there any chace to have VGA interface...it will be nicer...
Omfg Haxor!!!! Tnx!!!!!!!!!!

Use the stick to joint figures and try the other tools, like move, duplicate, etc...
One thing: I have a prob with the game, 2 versions ( with gsensor and without ) when u clikc, on the movements tools, u cant click directly into forms to make another new one.
Doesnt work the button, u just need to click on "alldirections" button and move the slitys pressed to the screeen to "figures"
Anyone have the same prob like me?
(sorry mah english )

Yes I got the same problem !
If I got time, I'll try to look where does it come from .
this is not useless... it keeps my 2 kids entertained all the time
keep it up!!
@hellgod.
Could you make a switcher, where you can choose original mode (without G-Sensor) or Diamond mode (with G-Sensor)?

Nice one ..
And it would be nice also if we can make lines .. and maybe if we can change the wallpaper ..
..
WOW...have always loved this little piece of software, now you just made it even better....THANKS
an awesome little app just got better. thanx, mate!
maybe you can add tongues or some other interesting things. tongues is my offer
Fantastic fun
Simply amazing. i love pocket gravity anyway and you have just made it even better.
is this app compatible with the touch pro?
Whooo!!! This app rocks
Doesnt work on Touch HD!!!!
Touch HD
Hi hellgod,
Could you please recompile your code with the following lines added to the file xf_w32main.cpp (located in .\source\XFlib of PocketGravity_src folder)
to make the application work for the HTC Touch HD, which has a bigger screen then the Diamond.
Could you please insert
Code:
else if(HEIGHT == 800){
xf_softzoom = 1;
HEIGHT = 320;
xf_rotatebuffer = (u16*)malloc(480*640*2);
}
between line 287 and line 288 (which for me is, just for reference:
Code:
XF_SmartPhone = XF_IsSmartPhone();
)
Instead of that you could of course release your code, so someone else can do this .
Thank you very much in advantage.
Hi guys !
I have done the modifications for the touch HD !
Try it (I can't, I don't have one) and give me feedback.
great it works!
only it does not use the whole screen and the bottom of the screen does not get refreshed i'll try with wgafix3
thanks a lot!
I can also confirm that the application is working.
I also have troubles with the screen being partly not refreshed. But this is due to the dirtiness of the "hack" I proposed. So it's not hellgod's fault. Thanks to him for developing the g-Sensor support.
As the author of the app talks of "just upscaling for now" (see http://www.xflib.net/index.php?action=games&name=PocketGravity&view=changelog) we probably can expect a better solution to come.
Hello everybody !
Here I made my first multitouch application which is simple to prove that it is possible!! I will not hide behind that there is a lot of work !!!!!!!!!!
If you want to see how it works go to the forum HTC-Touch-Diamond Developpement
Multitouch Prototype (Compact Framework 3.5)
Thank you! Tell me what you think!
COOL!!!!!!!!!!!
VERY COOL! works perfect for me! clicking at the same time, clicking one then the other!
What exactly does this do?
Screenshots/video?
its just a prototype. run the exe on your phone, it shows 2 green buttons and they can be "multitouched".
But I thought that was impossible on resistive screens?
And it is
Is unsing the capacitive one, the keys zone

mmm no, it uses the actual screen.
From the link, it looks like it uses the fact that when multitouched, resistive touchscreens (from what I've seen) return the "average" position of the multiple touches. It works, but only with specific UIs. Another method would be to virtualise the second touch - for example, when you want to zoom in on a picture, start with one finger in the centre and move out, with a zoom in occuring as if there is a second finger moving in the exact opposite direction from the centre. Combined, these methods do eliminate the need for capacitive touch sensitivity pretty well, but they're still not quite as good as the real thing...
Anyway, nice work.
Now I can prove to ignorant friends that my phone has multi-touch...
I hope you can create an application that has multitouch or may possibly set multitouch for the whole system.....
Impressive work, I didnt know that there was a way around to have multi touch on Diamond, hope to see this employed in a software e.g. use both fingers to zoom in pictures
thank you
By running this app on desktop Win Vista and on phone, I know how it works now ^^
when you touch 2 points on your phone, the phone will treat it as touching one point, and the point is the mid-point of the 2 points.
Steps:
Drag one of the green button to the middle of the two buttons, and they both become red ^^(either run this app on Windows or on Phone)
though, nice app, and sorry for my poor English
hello, I have an emergency someone knows
tell me where I can find a guide or

hi, the disassembly process is very similar to touch diamond2, there's one screw on the mainboard and I think two connectors (lcd + digitizer) you have to unplug, thats it (someone correct me if I'm mistaken)
edit: two screws for the keypad and the lcd is a bit tricky to take out (i used tweezersand gently levered it up on the two outer corners (careful with the foam attached to bottom)
im not responsible if u break ur device
good luck
Hi

Maybe you could try to flash a custom ROM that asks for screen alignment at first start.
no thanks mate, done this to my old imate jam,
never worked after my attempt
How did the hard reset go? Anyway, a hard reset should allow you to align the screen in one of the first steps after startup. Wish you luck
A disassembling Video is on Rapid Share.
Search for "MEGA-Disassembly.wmv"
For the assembly Process its "Mega-assembly.wmv"

Sorry, I couldn't have time to search all threads, but I think there's no one like this.
Any way, I have my HD2 about a year and it's LCD has a three bright spots on the screen. Everything is working OK, but's it's quite ugly. I know it's "only" change the LCD screen to a new one.
BUT the question is: is it possible to change it to an HD7 screen?! The devices hardware are almost the same and it could fix the multitouch problem! (It's a possibility)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The other suggestion is to change the command address to the other hardware key. I know camera button in WP7 devices is a 2 stage button and the first stage is to focus the images and the second is to take the picture, that's for sure.
I was wondering if it's possible the address another hardware key in the stcok camera, like the volume down button, for exemple, to focus image and the green button to take the picture, as it's today.
I know we already have an alternative to the camera software, but I'm quite conservative and I prefer stock programes, what ever... If some dev could try something like this, it would be great and solve this focus camera problem.
Any idea?
This sounds cool. I, myself, prefer stock apps .But we have a problem, there is no spare key for us to map it as a first stage camera button . Unless you are looking right now at the back of your HD2 with cover removed, If you know what I mean .

Ok, I guess I got what you mean. But, if you try to disable the volume down key function when the camera is initiated and remaped it to focus function? Isn't it possible to stock camera software? I guess you would write a "simple" routine to disable it's original function and remap to focus one... isn't it?
The camera one is a possibility I've thought of. We'll need some way of decompiling or editing the camera app though (native code) and re-signing it (I'm just assuming native code is somehow signed).
With regards to the HD7 screen - not a chance.

That's what I thought... But thanks anyway I think HTC wouldn't give us a chance to upgrade our devices just by changing the screen
sorry to go off your topic slightly but couldn't you get your screened fixed under the warranty. I know my hd2 has a 2 year warranty, surely it would cover the screen as long as its down to normal use

Thanks man, but, I forgot saying that here in Brazil we don't have HD2 selling on a store. I bought it from a guy that travelled far far way from here... =/
It doesn't have warranty... I can't send it to someone here because, one more time, we don't have HD2 here in Brazil, so that's no one expert enough with this device and no one that I really trust to make this........ any way, thanks for the advice plus one on ur thanks meter
Hi,
I have found tips over the forums on how to improve the screen sensitivity of your WinMo resistive touchscreen
1) When calibrating your screen, tap the cursor hairs as accurately and as lightly as possible. I use a toothpick for this, it has a fine tip. You will notice immediately how much more responsive your screen is!
2) Another method I found was:
a) Install Attached .cab / Reg Tweak
b) Soft Reset
c) Be Amazed at your Screen Sensitivity!
This is a little .cab file / reg tweak created by kevinpwhite (all credits to him)
EDIT: Many people in the thread have said that it has calibrated their screen wrong and they can't navigate it (cab/reg) This has resulted in a hard reset to get the touchscreen back(due to different touchscreen resolutions etc) I will investigate more into this and create a new version, if possible. Please use it at your own risk, and be sure to create a backup of your device.

Hi, dudes, my HTC WIZARD gets "untouchable" after this installation, but i found the way to solve it! =D
1- Download: CeRegEdit (u can found it on Google, with this u can explore your mobile reg trough your PC)
2- Open it (with your cell phone connected in ActiveSync)
3- Go to Tools, and select "Unlock registry" (your registry will be "Editable")
4- Navigate to:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH] and change this values to your defaults:
"CalibrationData" and "MaxCalError" (you have to found the values for your phone, here in XDA i foud the values for my phone)
5- Softreset
I hope to help someone, and i hope than no one had to make an horrible hardreset

This was created specifically for the TG01, but i think that the WinMo stored values are the same across all devices. It simply changes a reg key to increase the screen pressure to the max.
Please give me feedback if it works for you!
Please hit the THANKS BUTTON if you like this!
well, this just ****ed over my omnia, and i can't access it from my computer as i dont have a connect cable. any tips on how to bring it back to normal without hard reset?

please read the xda rules... no bad language.
This cannot possibly cause ANY damage. i have tested it on various winmo devices (touch hd etc) if so, explain?
Also describe your problem better. how is that gooing to help me, by just saying it ________ my Omnia!

i've tested in my O2 LIFE WM6, at the first time i got trouble, i couldnt tap my screen well. when i tapped all screen, it connected to bottom right screen.
i used my navigation button to reach the SETTING-SYSTEM-SCREEN-ALIGN SCREEN.
the align screen works. then i used a srynge to calibrate it (dont try this at home), the final result is........
WORKS GREAT LIKE A CHARM!!
my screen becomes more sensitive! I dont need my stylus anymore, with resco keybord typing is so much fun.
THANK YOU..

this sets your screen sensitivity to the maximum allowed pressure point. So your resisitive touch screen will require a light touch to register changes.
This is what loads of people complain about? Poor screen sensitivity? So try this out!!

Thanks for trying amyway! It certainly works for me though. It just recalibrates the reg entries for screen sensitivity. It wont male a huge difference!

thabks for the feedbakc! glad it works!
I always thought that this couldn't really be done. Tried many before and didn't see a difference. Then again I can't help myself so I will try this out too.
why didn't you come up with this earlier? i wasted two years using my htc jade with this insensitivity, finally a solution
thank you so much
Okay, I will try it now, but we need to know if there are a way to uninstall it safely in case if anything wrong happen like that one who had the Omnia, also you should type if we have to recalibrate the screen points after installing the tweak on all devices or what.
Thanks in advance.
tried it on my hTC Gene (P3400) running 6.5.5 and i got the same problem mentioned in post #5...dead unresponsive screen with a few taps being wrongly located towards the bottom right of the screen...so had to go into the screen setting via my D-pad and re-align the screen to enable it again
i think problem has something to do with the screen resolution (mine is qvga)
faced similar issues when trying a screen sensitivity improvement hack meant for wvga screens i found somewhere within the forums...
anyways nice job...its great to see some people still trying to make an effort to keep WinMo going!! keep up the good work!!

first try method one of calibrating your screen on your own
if you try method two of installing the cab thenall you have to do is run the cab file and soft-reset your device
if its worked, and we hope it does, then that should be it, you should have a screen which is more responsive
if you get a frozen screen just navigate to settings/system/screen and align your screen again to get it to work using the direction keys if you have them or by any other means
or hard reset to undo the settings
i'm just sharing whatever info i have...do tell me if i've left anything out
