My 16GB Nexus 7 is only 6GB after Flashing Stock Firmware - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Please note the included screenshot.
I used the batch script that comes with the latest firmware from googles support page (flash-all.bat if I recall).
Now it's only showing 6GB available. Does anyone know the best way to fix this?

Are you sure its not a 8gb model by mistake?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2

I am absolutely 100% sure that it is a 16GB model. I've searched and found several threads with my same problem and the only suggestions are to return it.
I paid 250$ for a 16GB model from Google play a few months ago. I will see if I can screenshot my purchase so I can convince the other viewers of this thread.
Does anyone have any ideas? I've seen options to repartition sd card in clockworkmod recovery mode, does anyone have experience with that option? Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Is this proof enough for everyone? I am 100% positive it's a 16GB model

I just answered this question a day or two ago.
boot into stock recovery
volume up + power when at android laying on its back
factory reset.

I read a thread that someone successfully did it. I think they used wugs toolkit but I could be mistaken.

The 32gb is identical to every other n7 except for the memory. No reason it shouldn't work.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
yeah the same with the sgs3 had the 16 then got the 32 same method.

Yes I was able to root mine right away using the Nexus 7 Toolkit found in the Android Development Forum. Easy Peasy. Option 8 in the kit does it all for you: unlock, root, busybox, etc.

4.2.2 removing access to manual lte selection?

Does anyone know if the 4.2.2 update removes access to manual selection of lte? I haven't seen anything about this either way.

I saw that some of the android news sites were reporting the N4 was getting the update, and they now show as being all the Nexi (plural nexus?) except the 4 are starting to see the update.

Locked out of nexus

So I let my nephew play with my nexus and somehow he and his friend managed somehow to put a device password I'm guessing?
So now I can't boot into my ROM. Its in a whole different language asking for a pass code. Boot into recovery asks for a pass code as well and I can't view any content.
Best work around for this?
Suggestions please?

And of course they dont know the password and don't know how they did it. -_-

XDA App? KitKat

is it me or is the XDA app a little buggy since the KK upgrade?
Mine never highlights the correct message and force closes a bit.
I actually just restored my tab to so its a brand new install.
Not a huge deal but just wondering if the app was bing updated or its just something with my tablet.
thanks

The free version of the paid version? I've got the paid version and it doesn't seem to work right, even on my Xperia Miro running 4.0.4.
For me the problems started already on 4.3, but they continue on 4.4
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Have the same problems. Started on 4.3 as well... Drives me crazy. Can't hardly "thank" anyone without creating a new post underneath it and also my recents are usually not updated.... I've tried everything.... Terrible.

For me it's the same and some times selecting the last post of a screen the post above is selected ...

I have the same issue both with paid and free, tho the xda HD is OK but the layout takes a while to get used to.
Is the new appv4 any better.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Premium HD app
The paid app has sucked ever since it was upgraded.

It was getting buggy for me 2, so switched to the tapatalk app which is far better, recommend giving it a go.

The point is we shouldn't HAVE to use tapatalk. I don't follow a lot of forums so the XDA app and Bacon Reader is all I need. It should just work. Especially the paid version.

It does need fixed, maybe everyone needs to submit feedback/report the bugs. I definitely recommend tapatalk though as it's just better and is getting updated. I don't follow a load of forums either, just use it specifically for xda.

I just tried tapatalk app and i must say WOW. screw xda app i am never going back to it now.
Thanks for the taptalk suggestion.
