Doesn't seem much info on this or that anyone is working on a solution. I tried sgs3 easy ums apk which doesn't work.
It's a shame I wanted to connect the n4 to the USB port in the car radio.

Ditto. I had to take USB out of debug mode, reboot the phone, then put it in mass storage mode to reload the drivers. Then it was OK. I also had charging problem with the phone connected to PC USB that cleared up when the drivers were reloaded. Good luck.

+1 on that. hey tazz.
If I ever get my working computer back I may tinker with some ROMs. But i doubt i'll get it back anytime soon. Girlfriends family has claimed it as theirs now until they get a new one.
1. USB Mass Storage without Development Mode on.
2. MotoConnect will prompt; Install.
3. PC Mode with Development Mode on.
4. ADB activate again on leaked Froyo.
Hello to all!!
I have this issue, for ever now. I think that it is not aurora's problem, because I have this one in almost every release, so I have come to think that it is either my sd's problem, or because I do not use any kernel. With DZO,s aurora, do you use any kernel? Or if you have any other suggestion, please help me..
Thank you.

Ok, I did second time the external. This time was even worst. 0.9!!! write and 7 read.
The internal was 7.0 MB/s write and 16.4 read, so I think that it is ok and the problem is at my external sd card, right?

Just an update, it was my sd's card problem. I tryied another one and got 7/8 mb. The strange thing is that when I use the sd with a usb adapter at my pc, I get 5-6 mb/sec write. But I hot this card from ebay, its oem, so it is maybe the think.
Thanks everyone...

Can anyone help with some pointers how/were I can mod to allow aps to use ext usb wifi wlan1 ?

Thanks for the reply, (should I delete the duplicate post?)
My rom is 4.2.1, kernel is 3.1.10-ZeroNin-32g-droid-g22b4fcd-dirt ([email protected] #7) build JOP40D, its the pwnpad community edition image from http://sourceforge.net/projects/pwnpad/files/. I want the android and ubuntu tools to both use the external wifi dongle not just the ubuntu command line software. Any advice/pointers/ideas gratefully rec'd.

Jay

Please help guys... My laptop running on windows 7 x64 won't detect my G2 as it said 'failed' when it tried to install the driver...:crying:
I already search all over the web and have tried them all.. but no luck.. :crying:
I've found in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2507281 , OP said to choose USB Composite Device instead of USB MTP device when choosing the driver manually.. But I can't find that USB Composite Device driver as I already installed the latest LG United Mobile Driver from here http://g2-lg.com/lg-g2-android-usb-drivers-pc-sync-software-pc-suite-lg-osp/
But still,, the option to choose that 'USB Composite Device' is nowhere can be found..
Now I can't connect my G2 until now and I'll be finished if someday I got problem and cannot restore my G2 to stock again.. :crying:
I attached my situation below..
Please help me... :crying:

I have always had issues with the drivers as well so I moved onto Wireless WiFi connections. Below is an app that will allow you to do this.

Clean previous drivers and Install drivers again properly and then you will be able to see mtp, ptp and charge only options when you connect your phone to pc.
