Which is why I find it fair to donate to DG. He may not be the only one working on Cappy but it sure as hell seems like he's the most dedicated one (check it P9 timeline for release

^^ Good Post! HAHA! ^^
This is the newest news from the Nexus S Dev Forum:
Update: We need another dump!
This dump was taken via fastboot oem unlock and adb pull /system and it's apparently missing permissions and symlinks.
We need to get a dump from a rooted, busybox installed Nexus S using the following command:
tar zcvf /sdcard/system-dump.tar.gz /system
Us Galaxy S users could also use a kernel dump.
Even if you have no clue how to do any of this, please go to http://webchat.freenode.net/ and join the channel #NSdev
Just mention that you have a Nexus S and we will walk you through the process.
-Thanks
Can't wait to see this baby running!

I'm new to this so I may be missing something, but didn't full kernel sources get posted? Is there any difference between the two?
On the happiness of the release of the Galaxy S III Yesterday, This is a request for a system dump that someone must have got their hands on...
I know it's a little early, but who knows, someone may have it in China!
It will be helpful for ROM developers and Themers, like me, LOL kidding...
Thanks,
Rico

Hi Team,
Can someone please help me to install "L developer preview" which was released only for Nexus 7 2013 model but not for Nexus 7 Wifi (Old) model.
Do we have any images of "L developer preview" for Nexus 7 old model ?

I don't think so. As is a new android version almost everything was changed. We only can get it work when Google release the AOSP source. So we will need to wait a bit longer

You're not in the 2013 forum, I'd go ask there. Recovery will only be replaced if you replace it.

Pretty sure its not an actual port....it has L goodies in it? Maybe I'm wrong.....its a very confusing and poorly laid out thread and OP. Lol
Edit; k, he has stated a lot is broken....the OP kind of makes sense.
Still, its parts of L mixed with Kit Kat. Not really a port still.

It is an actual port. It is android L. I installed it, and runs very nice. WiFi is just working. I have it as secondary rom using multirom.
EDIT Sorry for the title, typed the captcha in the wrong input box

Yea an SDK port which is a bit cobbled together as you say, full respect to the devs for even attempting it though. It will be interesting to see if we get a full preview from Google and then an actual full update come October time. [emoji2]

It's a good running rom. Much is just working fine in version 4.
btw: a preview was online for a couple of minutes... I don't think anybody was able to download the whole thing
I respect any work from the devs here for sure! Just a confusing OP and thread is all.
