I got my Razr HD today, and one thing I noticed is that the ear piece Motorola logo on my device is slanted.. it appears that it slants downwards towards the left, and the earpiece doesn't look straight.. Take a look at the pic below and you'll see what I mean.. the left dips and the space isn't the same as the right.. kind of hard to capture with flash on a camera.. let me know if yours is like this.

Never would have noticed this unless you said something. Lol yea mine appears to be *slightly tilted down and left.

Either mine doesn't have the slant, or it's so minimal that it can't be seen without some sort of microscopic measurement. Honestly, I don't see it in the pic either, but it could be a combination of my bad eyes and the glare in the pic from the flash.
Return / exchange it if it bothers you.
I kept having that idea before you mentioned it.... and now that I see your post, it all makes sense lol.... its not that bad though, hardly noticeable, keeping it! lol
Mine is not crooked, but the speaker is a dust trap and for that matter so is the mic at the bottom... small annoyance

I dropped my evo a few weeks ago and chipped the bottom-left corner of the glass. It still works fine but with the E3D right around the corner I decided it was time to call in for a replacement so I have a good one to sell when I get the 3D. Lucky me.. they sent me a new one, not a refurb
Before they turn my phone into a viable refurb they're going to have to replace the screen so before I send the old one back I intend to find out just how much damage the screen can take.
I've horrified a few people here, showing them the screen needs no protection by TRYING to scratch it with knives, screws, keys, coins, etc..
I'm going to take some video of the forthcoming torture but am open to suggestions before I begin
This is the current state of my evo:

do you have access to any gunpowder?
I was thinking tit would be interesting to see you cut a little line of gunpowder, like a line of... you know, some other powdery substance someone might arrange on a glass surface...
And light it up!
slide it face down in the street. there maybe glass in the street.
Take a diamond to it lol

I think my screen has a serious problem.
When I made it to display 50% gray, there are these weird uneven lines.
Do you think I will get a screen replacement?
It has been driving me nuts.
Can you take a picture of it with a camera, so we see what you mean?

how did you make it gray?

As you can see, the two long ovals, there is this weird lines. It actually looks worse in real life cause I don't have another good camera as a source.
Then the right side, the colour of the grey is different. A little yellowish patch compared to the left side.
And I used LCD Test.
Seems its a defective amoled panel, so if you don't feel good about it sent to warranty.
Anyway if this just happen in a solid gray picture then is not a big deal.

As the title says. Mostly annoying as it rattles when tapping on the screen. Here's a video, you might need to turn up your volume to hear.

It also has a green tint in the top left corner most visible using the browser. To top it off also a loose top back cover. I've heard Samsung's quality control sucks but so many issues in one device. It's made in Vietnam by the way.

Maybe you just got a device that got hit by something. I don't have this on my device. It feels very sturdy and all buttons feel smooth.
Just go back to the store and tell them. No need to break down Samsung's quality department because of this. Every product has a few bad experiences...
Bought it online locally so the video was for them to see and exchange. Just thought i'd share since I'd already recorded.
Photos of the green tint they couldn't see. They claim it's not there based on these photos.

Here's another photo with just a white background i'll try.
I just wonder how such a broken device passes through quality control.
My SAM 3 is also from Vietnam....bought recent and its blue....let me test it first.
Have terrible light bleed on my Nexus 7 that is approx 2 months old, been getting worse and worse, just filed for a RMA but Asus says they do not cross ship for tablets so I would be without it for 3-4 weeks.
Is there any fix I could try? Is this a similar issue to the screen lift problem everyone seems to be having? If I warp the tablet in my hand I can get the bleeding to be more or less or different places which leads me to think the screen isnt on straight.
Here is screenshot off it on a pure black background

I've gotten some lightbleed on my Nexus 7 (minor, not noticeable unless brightness is turned up) and the "ripple" when I press on the screen. I do assume this has something to do with how the screen is mounted, but I'm not sure how to fix it.
Ouch. Does it creak a lot to?
Sent from my SPH-M830 using xda app-developers app
The only real way to fix this is with a screen/digitizer assembly replacement.

So I'm currently talking with Google and waiting on an email back to see their response...On any grey or dark surface, I have a white banding on either side of the screen that runs the height of it. I also experience some burn in with my calendar widget (due to the white boxes on it). You can see them in the one photo. It almost looks as they've burned in through the settings menu.
Has anyone else experienced the same issue?
I thought it might be normal at first but I compared it to my wife's N4 and her display is flawless!
White banding:

i'll shoot a pic later.

Not normal. It is defective. Google should take care of it no problem and send a replacement.

I get it with the tapatalk app avatar boxes and the keyboard if I leave the screen on for a while. But it always clears its self up before I notice it to much more.
I've had my Nexus since February and its done it since day 1.
