GTalk with Video on Motorola Defy(+) - Defy Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, I'm sharing this version of GTalk with (video chat support?), I haven't tested it yet, I have used it on my Samsung Galaxy 5, I don't know if it's compatible with Motorola Defy(+).
Edit: It's for CM7

hi guys whats up?

i want to ask you what the best rom now to samsung galaxy i 9000 //// and If you have any recommendations for lg p500 roms I would happy to take it....
That's up to your personal taste.
If you like a stable rom, try one based on gingerbread.
If you want to go with the trend,
try an ics-based rom.
What do you recommend?

not really. but it should be good enough for everyone. if you want most customizable rom ever, try aokp port by bhuvan. if you want a simple rom, try cm9 alpha.

He means that the era of Galaxy S GT-I9000 is OVER!
Now phones come with at least 1.2 GHZ dual core CPUS with more than 1GB amount of RAM meaning:
Better Multitasking
Faster Response
Latest Application support
Please notice:
Today, there is a big gamma of smartphones including android and windows phone devices and because of that some developers moved to other devices.
My advice:
If you want a fast and clean ROM go with stock 2.3.6 version.
Find one that suits your country and needs and install root or buy another phone.
Samsung caused a lot of frustration to many users for not including ICS support and that's why most developers focus on an ICS support and ICS ROMS are known to be buggy and glitchy (no offense meant to anyone).
I can't blame Samsung for not including an ICS port, it's true that ICS require more RAM

The ics ports are running very well on our galaxy, and if f***** ram-eating Touchwiz wouldn't be there, I'm sure Samsung would provide us with an official ics firmware.

But yet they deny any ICS port and even if it runs "well" it's glitchy.
For example: External SD doesn't work

Ext SD is only an issue on some ports for our galaxy, if you take all ics roms together, you get a very fast one with bugs only related to Google.

there will not be camera or video capabilities until HTC decides to release the desire hd 3.0 kernel. So that means no sense roms for dhd will have camera until then.

As far as I know they are building their ROMs the same way or LC is implementING changes in his Rom. But as stated before... its very strange that camera works on this ROM....
existz said:
No. Without source I'm not going to be able to fix camcorder. Even with Paranoid Android I can't do anything with it unless I have source and/or detailed info on what needs fixed .(the guy who does Paranoid doesn't know much about it and already stated he doesn't know what fixed it for him) There's to many variables, it could either be kernel, framework, camera Hal, camera libs...etc.. With what we have currently I'm unable to do anything. So either until HTC releases source and libs, or whoever already has it fixed releases source or some info on how they fixed it, there's not much I can do.

Not to discredit the Paranoidandroid guy but it is possible if he knew what changes were made. Or to wait for kernel 3.

The current ROM that you are using in your phone for a certain amount of time is of course your favourite. If not, why would you be using it as your daily driver?
In my case, its MIUI v4.
Sent from that Atrix.
Do miui v4 has camera problem on taking photos and video?
No problems on photos, but it can't capture videos because of driver limitations. But I've never ever recorded a video using my phone anyway.

It's weird that people bought the lapdock. Why not just use a laptop and tether? Or a tablet? I want to buy one, but it's only because I want to own one, not because I would use it for anything at all.

I switch between AOKP and CNA. Currently running CNA 3.4.1
I have been switching between Paranoid Android (ICS) and MaxBlur 5 Basic.
I am an avid lapdock user. These ROMS work best as far as I have tested with the lapdock.
MaxBlur 5 is a mix on stock, and I replaced it's webtop with Ubuntu Tegra2 and moved it over to SD with webtop2sd.
Thanks.
CM7 latest stable release for me. Very stable. Solid battery life.

If I remember correctly, it cost around the same price of a regular netbook when it came out.
