Well, first of all make sure that the google drivers are installed on your windows. Then turn on your device, push volume down button to enter fastboot. You didn't say what is your ROM, but anyway, now plug your phone to PC by USB cable. Run the ***.bat file (*** depends on the ROM you have! for example for iPlasm's MIUI ROM, you have to run update.bat and then install both 2 options available there.) Then restart your device, now push volume-up button and wipe all data. Then choose install zip from sd card and choose the zip files of the ROM you wish to install and install it ...

Dont have any camera
When i bootup the phone the Samsung Galaxy S logo comes up.
After then animated S whit the sound comes, stays for a long time, then the screen becomes black. If i touch the touchbuttons they start to light but no more.
okay, then that means your phone is ON
the problem is either a bad flash, or you might just need to go into RECOVERY MODE to clean up the data, and clean up the cache

Nothing works for me
there is maybe another hope
it will require to use a ADB on a batch file
open notepad
copy and paste this into notepad
:retry
adb.exe reboot recovery
GOTO retry
save it as
fixsgs.bat
but before you can run it, you will need to download ADB if you don't already have it
instruction are similar to this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7538723&postcount=2
the idea is to hook up your partially disabled phone to the USB turn it on and hopefully
the looping adb.exe reboot recovery can kick in when windows detects it for a fraction of a second when you plug in the USB device.

Only says Error: Device not found
****
Hello,
I got SGS from o2 same issue tried every trick mentioned on internet but still stuck at same point (After Galaxy logo then animation and S sign.... Freezeeee)
Is there any hope?
Or any other way?
Help!
I know this isnt what you wanted to hear.
But if you've tried ADB and it still comes up with Device Not Found
I'm afraid you're only hope may be to take it back to retailer and claim ELF (Early Life Failure). Tell them you were upgrading firmware and it bricked and your phone doesn't have three button boot functionality.
Good luck
agree, if you can't get into the download mode, then the only fix is to send it back to the repair shop for an exchange

What is the current Rom on your HD2?
are you using magldr or clk? if your using magldr i might try a fresh install of it & flash a different ROM...lets say BLUETOPIA HD. (personal choice) dont forget to partition your sd card and phone if the ROM you choose asks to do so. this might not be necessary & maybe its a bit overkill but i find that when i have similar problems this takes care of it. dont foget to wipe data/cache/delvic. or if the problems persist you can always flash a windows mobile ROM.
@yerdan, I'm running stock desire from DFT
@htccraze, I'm pretty sure I'm using magldr. is clk better?
i can get into boot loader mode, and the recovery but not into adb recovery
anyhelp?
i cant even get the phone to connect to usb
Did you install recovery? CWM or CLK?
HERE IS VIDEO HOW TO DO IT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pxucOLY488
OR FOLLOW MY STEPS.
To do this just download this pack: http://www.multiupload.com/VZ1WB57AOY
To install CWM follow these steps:
1. Unpack CWM.zip
2. Double click on DAF.exe
3. Connect your phone to your computer using USB cable
4. Switch your phone ON and HOLD RED CALL button until you see magldr options
5. Using Volume DOWN button go to USB FLASHER and press GREEN CALL button
6. Now, click NEXT, NEXT in DAF.exe program
7. You need to wait until it connects with your phone, and if it's connected it will install CWM (installing will take few seconds)
8. Now your phone will restart
9. HOLD RED BUTTON to get in to magldr options and go to AD RECOVERY, press green button to open it
10. Then go to MOUNT option and press green button
11. Now go to MOUNT STORAGE or MOUNT SD i don't remember it is the last one, so go to it using VOLUME button and the press green button
12. Now you can put Android on your SD card
13. So download this build, it is very quick: http://www.multiupload.com/8UPNV5WUZU
14. After you downloaded it, put it on to your SD card
15. When it is finished, in you phone press green button and BACK button two times to get in to CWM main screen
16. Now choose Install zip or something like this i dont remember (dont choose update.zip)
17. and choose NexusHD2-Gingerbread_V2.8_NAND_(Android-2.3.4)_update.zip from the list and press green button
18. After it is finished press back button and choose reboot phone option.
And you're done! Android will boot.
If you have problems or something let me know
my problem is wothin usb flasher, it just times out

Oh, so it doesn't recognize the phone? You get error that it can't connect to your phone?
Do you have Windows XP?
Install this:
If you don't have activesync download and install: http://download1us.softpedia.com/dl...0018828/software/internet/phone_gsm/setup.msi
And install this:
http://www.htc.com/managed-assets/support/software/htc-sync/setup_3.0.5551.exe
Then restart your PC and try to connect.
oh ok i see. i've had this problem too. to fix it i just unplugged the phone and plugged it back in, after a few seconds it worked, should do they same for you.

Does it charge the phone through USB?
Why do you think it's bricked? Does it boot to magldr?
What ERROR do you get after running DAF.exe?
Have you tried to see if it is recognized on different computer?
If you haven't got any other computer to check, then try to install Windows 7 on new partition and see if it works there because it might be some problem with drivers, I remember that I've used to have a problem with my old nokia phone, it was detected by pc but something happened and it wasn't recognized by pc anymore, I tried to reinstall drivers etc but didn't work. What I did was I reinstalled Windows and it worked.
BTW: Are you running DAF.exe as Administrator?

HTC HD MINI Bricked, pls help me!

Hi there!
I bought a HD mini, and I wanted install android to device, but it not working! :/
I downloaded these files:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1756672
and I followed the nex steps:
1- Beginning, Extract the "LK Boot" to some where you like to begin, open folder and extract the "LK Boot Photonic SDCard.zip" and copy its files in "LK Boot Photonic SDCard" without folder to the Root of SDCard, also copy the Google Apps with CM9 Photon ROM to SDCard.
2- Installing Recovery, In the Phone WM6.5, Open Explorer and navigate to SDCard and touch at HaRET, or if you're on another CWM Recovery, Restart & in White HTC press & Hold Volume Down until you're in FastBoot Mode, You should be in Fast Boot Mode to Install Recovery both in WM6.5 or others, Connect the USB cable to the PC (it may ask you the Divers needed for the device) and the Drivers are in the folder in "LK Boot - Photon" in "Google Windows USB driver" folder. After that click on “Update.bat” and Install both of them, when it’s finished fine try reboot it.
But when I running the HaRET after I running update.bat and pressed the "2" button and pressed enter--> It worked normally on my pc, but after I pressed the volume up, and the phone didn't reboot! :/
It stop the white HTC screen and not write under HTC quietly brilliant, and not boot up! :/
Please help me!
After I want install the stock RUU Rom, but I always have ERROR [294], and I don't know which ROM need for my device!
I remember my rom type was WWE, but I don't know more from this! :/
Please help me!!
SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH! :/
So you have opened HaRET on your phone, and after this you should see some blue text texts on your phone, Then open update.bat while the USB must be connected with drives installed, press number one, then press number 2. which you will see immediately recovery on your phone.
and Remember, your recovery must be installed correctly or you won't see recovery by holding volume up, so you have to hold volume down while restart to resinstall recovery again by pc.
This is okay, but now the my phone don't boot up and I don't know how to I fix it, because the phone freezes at the HTC logo :/
Could you help me?

Good to understand
So you can see the Recovery, but is it when you pressed volume up? or you used PC?
when you installed correctly the Recovery, you will never need PC again even if you wanted to change android ROMs.
answer me These:
Pull battery out and put it to device, Now Hold and press Volume UP + (still press on it your finger) then Power on device, until that you should see the recovery.
if you saw recovery, for this time only... just install the ROM zip ONLY (don't do anything nor formats!), and don't do anything other, after finished installation, restart your phone. and tell me what happens. and you should see installation completed or Phonerty texts! after that restart.

You can probably recover.
To reflash a full firmware image you could try the relatively user-friendly yotaflasher application and ROM images from here. I haven't used this myself, but it's software by Yota, so should be safe. You can ask it not to touch /data, to preserve apps, settings etc.
A less user friendly way to reflash a full firmware image:
- Download a full firmware image (EU 1.60 flashable version here, let me know if you require a different one)
- With the phone off, press vol down + power until you see "Downloading ...."
- If you can't turn the phone off normally, keep vol down + power for at least 15 seconds till phone reboots, keep holding till you end up with "Downloading ...."
- connect to a PC with adb+fastboot with a USB cable
- You can now boot TWRP image (fastboot boot recovery_twrp_yd201_alpha2.img , see here.
- if you have important files on your phone, you can back them up now by using adb shell/adb pull (e.g. adb pull /sdcard/Pictures/yeti_sighting.jpg)
- In TWRP go to advanced -> sideload and confirm
- now you can sideload a ROM image from the PC with adb sideload <image>.zip, it should show progress while it's uploading the firmware. If it errors, you probably haven't confirmed initiating sideload in previous step.
- wipe cache&dalvik and reboot
thank you, the first way worked and my phone runs normally now.
thank you

Root the phone using methods written on this forum > download build 1.60 flammable zip > flash that.
If all you want is Google apps then root the phone then download and flash a gapps package. The full Yota build zip is recommended though.

Just click on the YotaPhoneFlasher folder then click the file (yotaphone2_flasher.exe), and save to your harddisk.
Or you can try this link straight to the yotaphone2_flasher.exe file.

Dude I've just bought my phone, and it has the same problem. But I'm a complete noob, how did you fix it? Please, i've just bought it.
On RU build 134 when I tried to swap users my user with Defaut user, the phone blocked, the display is on (time is the same when first happend - just a freeze image) but I can't do nothing on phone. Is a way to reset? because on a normal way I would remove battery but yota dont have this option.

The analogue method of pulling out the battery is pressing the POWER button for at least 10 seconds. The phone will reboot.
Thanks, I pushed vol down + Power and the phone restarted normaly.
PS: If you know where to get a book from Алекса́ндр Солжени́цын - Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn to read on yota display, send me.

While trying to solve the network issue on my Yotaphone 2 I managed to brick my phone. He is dead! But since it is a Snapdragon inside it can be fixed.
I need a help from someone who has rooted his Yotaphone2!
I need files from Yotaphone2 software: rawprogram0.xml and patch0.xml
Please!!!

Sir, i can't even get into recovery mode, i get this problem like it suddenly happen and my battery was 38%.. i was on facebook and it hang and then reboot and then stuck at "POWERED BY ANDROID".
I try to get into recovery mode by pressing volume up + power button, it restart again to "POWERED BY ANDROID"
When i pressing volume down + power button, it show downloading... , and i try to flash it using yotaflasher with HK Firmware 5.0.
When it is done, the phone reboot.
And it still stuck at "POWERED BY ANDROID"
What is the real problem ?

You need to keep pressing the power up button after the showing of "POWERED BY ANDROID", the power does not need to be pressed after then.
If you can still not reach recovery, you probably have a broken recovery (maybe wrong version) and something else is messed up.
When you flash recovery, you need to instantly go into recovery mode by pressing +/up on calling the according command
(fastboot reboot).
It does not look like you changed file system related things, did you change anything on your system/with root permissions?
Are you sure the installation process went without failure etc?
Getting out the cause (kernel logs etc) would be a bit hard without getting into recovery mode[and maybe also nonworking kernel], like stated out here

What's your build number what version of supersu did you try to flash?
Shutdown your device, put your current build onto 'dload' folder in the sdcard and press the following key combo: POWER, VOL-UP & VOL-DOWN, it should enable automatic update process

Shut it down amd press those 3 keys combo.. upon seeing Huawei Logo and vibration, release the Power key while holding the other 2... That ought to do it
Man, your phone is badly bricked. If you don't have at least access to fastboot, then you're screwed.
Good for me to I have the same problem. I was trying to get to stock ( I have made it several times), but the last time was a fail... The whole process of sending firmware was ok. then a reboot and brick.
Now the huawei screen and the short vibration appears and shutdown.
I was trying everything.
In device manager the phone is displayed as mobile devices \ volume f:\ (drive letter)
in connected devices the phone is detected as
hi6210sft
Phone is not detected in fastboot or ADB.
I met this problem yesterday(I hope the identical ). Because I have two booting animations, one from Vodafone, I guess I shutdown early during installation. It just froze. Then it didn't boot and stock recovery didn't help
My solution needs some recovery software like twrp. Press three buttons at the same time until twrp mode. Copy zip file for SuperSU to phone or sdcard, then flash it. After that my phone works again.
You mentioned that you cannot start recovery. Try more. After installing twrp, starting it is quite annoying. Sometimes it just doesn't start or stock recovery starts. An alternative way is to go to whatever mode, and try adb or fast boot to reboot to recovery. Pressing button requires techniques which j don't have
I can't enter TWRP non combination is working for me. Installing firmware using dload from sd card also.
okay if non of these worked you can try flashing the whole update.app file by fastboot..
tools you will need
1- download the official huawei firmware from the official site
2- download Huawei Update Extractor
3- download minimal adb and fastboot
check the unbricking chapter of this thread
Note: to get in fastboot make sure you connected your phone to computer and press the vol down and power down buttons.. if none of these worked your phone is hard bricked .-. .. try opening the phone and reconnecting the battery worked with someone
if you need any help just pm me or replay on this thread hope that help you
Ok thx. I have already opened the phone to reconnect the battery
And then I was trying the combinations;
Battery connected vol- +power - Huawei logo and vibration and shutdown, no fastboot
Battery disconnected, vol-+power and connecting cable to phone - the same
Battery disconnected combination vol + vol - + ppwer, with sd card dload, the same
Battery connected combination vol + vol - power, sd card dload, the same
Any other suggestions?
The phone is recognized in Windows in device manager as mobile device as volume with a letter, I cant change the drivers to the right ones. I can't enter the storage it's unrecognized format.
Any other suggestions?

it is easy to suggest others.. I too advised you.. but today i am facing the same problem...
what I tried:
Reinstalling the same ROM using dload method
Upgrading to other ROM (using both dload and flashing 4 image method)
Downgrading
Restoring from the backup
At one point, the phone booted up all well except the Wifi Module... So I flashed another ROM and stuck again...
the worst thing that I don't have any connection to fastboot Each firmware installation method fails

yes, mine too... or I could say flashing succeeds but there's some problem with the boot partition... will get my phone today from the Customer Care and try again (if they can't repair).
you can try removing the back cover and unplugging the battery... that is one of the few things I will do today as I get my phone back..

ok made it back.. just flashed the boot.img from b594 (the one I was using when my mobile got bricked)... somehow made it back. But now I am having a problem with the battery. It doesn't charge when the device is switched on, only when the device is switched off... will see for few days, if there's problem will take it back to service centre again
I have already removed back cover and was trying to reconnect the battery to do clear run. But the only thing is discovered in windows is a driver for storage and I can't change the driver to ADB or FASTBOOT
Now I have connected phone w PC on adb devices I see only emulator-5554 device. In Device manager I see the storage as a Mobile Device.
Nope it was Bluestacks

Switch off your device and then connect it to PC but just hold the volume- key.. that should get you in fastboot mode... I did that and then flashed the boot.img of the current ROM. This should boot it up...
Nope it doesn't work I was trying it already
