Odin after recovery problems: fail! - Galaxy S I9000 General

Hey guys,
I was running slimbean 2.7 and devilkernel. When I wanted to reboot my phone, I got into recovery mode instead of the system. "Reboot to system" in cwm didn't help and neither did pressing the power button, I kept getting into recovery again and again.
After Cache and Dalvik wipe didn't help, I decided to wipe data/factory reset and use a backup. When trying to choose the backup, all of them were gone, so instead I tried to flash slimbean again, all I got was "e: can't mount sdcard" (this is all on internal sdcard, i don't have an external one).
So I started odin3 v1.85 and choose semaphore 2.5.0s.tar, put it in pda, brought my phone into download mode, docked it and pressed start (repartition wasn't checked and kies wasn't running either) and I instantly got "fail!". The phone is still connected to odin but it now shows a completely black screen.
Odin says:

Please guys, I'm out of options here, please help me out :crying:
Do I need a 3 part firmware with repartition now? Or what do I do?
Just flashed stock firmware with repartition, that's what I got:

Flash an Ezbase rescue kit with 512 Pit file and repartition TICKED from My Android Collections
But First powerdown, pull out Battery, SIM CARD, and EXT.SD card, press power button for a minute, than powerup without SIM and Ext.SD Card....
Tips before Flashing:-
Backup all your important files, contacts, SMS, game data, images etc to PC or Ext SD card. or make Nanadroid Backup If you have CWM
Backup your EFS Folder to PC or Ext SD card
Enable USB Debugging on Phone. Touch menu> Settings> Applications> Development>
Charge your battery to more than 50% before you attempt any sort of flashing.
Disable Samsung KIES when using Odin. Kill Kies.exe, KiesTrayAgent.exe, & KiesPDLR.exe using Task Manager on PC
Use only ROM and solution for your model and Wipe x3

Got it. Can I now flash a normal 3part stock rom? Or what do I do? I'd like to flash a stock rom without root, xwjw1. Is that possible to do with repartition now or am I going to crash something?
Edit:
Okay, problem is, after the first reboot after copying ezrescue via odin cwm tells me the following:

Like I said in the beginning: not being able to mount the sdcard was one of the first problems I had before all this crap started. Does that mount that there is some kind of hardware damage? What do I do next?

Is both your Storage available on your Phone? and can you open them on your PC ?
If you already have a backup, you can format your SD cards in the phone or via PC by unmount or in USB storage mode.
Anyway all you need to do here, is Flash the ROM again for your region ( initially you must have had XEU). Do not use Pit and do not repartition . Chose from here
First powerdown, pull out Battery, SIM CARD, and EXT.SD card, press power button for a minute, than powerup without SIM and Ext.SD Card, after flashing and reboot , insert them back
Tips before Flashing:-
Backup all your important files, contacts, SMS, game data, images etc to PC or Ext SD card. or make Nanadroid Backup If you have CWM
Backup your EFS Folder to PC or Ext SD card
Enable USB Debugging on Phone. Touch menu> Settings> Applications> Development>

Thanks a lot, I did that, but the sdcard still does not work at all. I'm sending it back to have it repaired, it's gotta be a hardware problem. thanks a lot for your help mate =)

Samsung S7710 Xcover2 - device memory lost (0.00B) !

Hi!
I have big problem with my Xcover2
I have uploaded accidentally recovery from another model Galaxy S3 mini (i8190) from here: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=9390334956548391158 after reboot i saw stock recovery, i reboot device. System start normally, but after this operation I was no longer able to enter recovery mode Only download mode works.
So I have uploaded the original ROM using ODIN3 v3.07, firmware i got from here: http://live.samsung-updates.com/index.php?device=GT-S7710 but i still can`t get in recovery mode using keys Vol-up + Home + Power, phone reboot after that keys So i can`t wipe data.
A few times I've used the ODIN and Kies trying to fix the phone. Flashing was done without any problems, there were no errors. But the phone reboot just after boot screen with the name of 'Samsung' and the phone model - bootloop :/
And then in the ODIN uploading another ROM again ticked the option "Nand Erase All" - after was done, there was no bootscreen at boot, on the display instead of startup screen was blank screen like this for 3sec
and after that was startup animation, system start normally I setup language, date etc, but then i discover that device memory was lost 0.00B
can`t receive SMS because there is no memory space :/
When the phone restarts then I have to set up all the settings again
When connecting the phone into the computer I see something like this:
Download mode works fine :
How can I fix the device memory ? (( Any suggestions, ideas? Every time I reboot device I can see blankscreen for ~3sec, and when phone boot I have to set up phone language and other settings again.
Sorry for my English
I am not an expert but i see you have wrong size on phone, reports as 30GB.

Need help flashing stock rom, already attempted and failed on GS5

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to flash a stock rom on a Verizon GS5. I say trying because so far it hasn't been working, unless I'm doing something wrong, which I think I am. When I got the phone, it had a Sprint rom flashed to the GS5. The original Verizon IMEI under the battery is clean and verified good with Verizon. There is nothing physically or cosmetically wrong with the phone, it powers on sometimes and randomly restarts. When it does turn on, the Sprint Spark logo comes up, the phone boots up normally and then randomly shuts off, taking a long time to be able to power back on. The only way that it says on is by putting it on Download Mode.
When in download mode, it shows as a G900P,
As far as my understanding goes, shouldn't it be a G900V?
I attempted to flash a stock Verizon rom I downloaded and tried to flash it with Odin 3.04 but it fails each and every time. I have installed the Samsung drivers that I got from the website, I restarted the computer, I restarted the phone but Odin give me a fail error.
Then I tried a newer version of Odin 4.43 but I'm not sure I'm using that one correctly but it's not working for me either.
I left the phone in Download Mode and it has been on for about 30 mins (the longest so far without it restarting on me).
Is there something that I'm missing here? Something else I could try to fix this?
Any ideas? Suggestions?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
..
-> It's a Verizon Galaxy S5 Phone I got from eBay
-> It's flashed with the Sprint rom version of the GS5
-> The phone restarts on and off, randomly, unless it is in Download Mode
-> I want to flash it back to the original Verizon GS5 rom.
-> I attempted to flash the phone with Odin 3.09 and rom SM-G900V_VZW_1_20140331185350
-> I get an error message when using Odin 3.09, it FAILS
-> The progress bar in the GS5 phone advances a small amount but that's it.
-> I attempted to use Odin 4.43 with the same rom file but that also fails and I get an error message.
-> I researched on Google before signing up and asking for help.
-> I have read many Threads and Posts on several Forums, and I have also tried many tutorials without any luck.
-> I researched how to use Odin, there is lot's of pictures, easy explanations but that's not it.
-> I found a GS5 stock rom, file name mentioned above.
-> Samsung drivers are installed, phone is recognized by Odin.
1.) Am I using the correct rom?
2.) Which version of Odin should I use?
..

Download this version of Odin and extract the folder in the zip.
Make sure you have downloaded the correct firmware, extract the MD5 / tar file from inside the firmware.zip file you downloaded and put it in the Odin 3.07 folder
Start Odin.exe, put your phone in download mode and connect to your PC, if you have Kies installed make sure it is not running, Odin and Kies don't mix.
Once you have the Blue ID.COM indicated, click on PDA, find the MD5 / .tar file wait for teh file check Odin runs then click Start, wait for Odin to finish and your phone reboots.
Guide for Odin use here it is from the S3 but the use of Odin is the same for the S5
It took me a while to get it to turn on but here's what I got from trying ag4751's suggestions.

It's the same thing that I was getting before, I'm sorry if I did not explain myself in detail at first.
I have used 2 versions of Odin 3.09 (which I used on my own and got the above message).
3.07 as suggested by ag4751.
I have used 2 different roms and both fail.

@fffft
To answer your question as to what tutorial I followed, I followed ag4751's tutorial/explanation on his reply. It's basic, just like all the other tutorials I googled.
1.) Put the phone in download mode
2.) Open Odin
3.) Select PDA
4.) Wait for the file check
5.) Click start
and then it fails.
That's what @ag4751 suggested, that's what I tried, that's what I tried before, that's what I'm trying now and all that is failing for some reason.

[Q] -CM- What to update to

Hi guys, I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 from Canada, specifically Rogers. The phone is currently on the CM11 Nightly ROM. (I can check specifically which nightly, my phone is just backing up at the moment so I can't see!)
I have this problem, which is, when the phone automatically locks or I myself lock it, the radio signal completely drops. Sometimes the signal will come back, but to get it back for sure is to turn the phone on airplane mode then off again. It is annoying because when the phone is locked for a while, it will receive signal at some point. During that time I'll get a call and it'll ring but once the screen turns on the signal will drop, also dropping the call. I have a slight understanding that it could be a problem with the phone's radio firmware?
Now that you guys have an understanding about my problem, this is what I am hoping to accomplish. I want to update the phones ROM, as it is probably old, along with the proper fix to the phone's radio firmware. How do i go about doing this? The kind of ROM that I want is something in between stable version and nightly (not nightly as I think nightly was the one that caused my radio problem), I think that's SNAPSHOT M12? Please correct me if I am wrong. I would rather not lose any of my data but if I have to then I will but please do guide me because I am scared to lose any of my data.
Thank you guys for reading my long post, I hope my English and grammar is fine! I look forward to hearing from you guys!
The current version of Cyanogenmod is 12.1 (Android 5.1.1). The two release channels for 12.1 are nightlies and snapshots. As of yet there has been no CM12.1 snapshot I'm aware of, meaning all CM12.1 ROMs are nightlies.
You haven't said what version of the stock ROM you had before moving to CM11, but if the radio is too old, you'll want to update it. You'll need Odin and either the modem file, or a complete ROM, which you can download from here. If you choose to install the stock ROM, be aware that you will have to root your device again, using CF-Autoroot. Flashing the stock ROM or modem won't wipe your data unless you tell Odin to partition the S4, so you don't want to do that. What you do want to do before you attempt to do anything is make a nandroid backup as well as move any important files off the internal storage. While you won't need to wipe the S4 prior to installing the new stock ROM or the modem, you will need to do so when installing the new version of Cyanogenmod.
P. S. In the future, you want to direct your questions to the AT&T Galaxy S4 forums as this is the International S4 forum, which doesn't cover North American S4 devices. Your question however is general enough that we should still be able to help you.
Thanks for the reply!

I don't know how to answer this, It's been quite a long time since I moved to CM11. Basically what I did was, when I bought the phone I went home and installed CM11 on it, haha.

I am quite confused, sorry. What I'm doing right now is I'm downloading the newest radio firmware from the link you have given me. After that I'm going to follow the instructions of:
Extract (unzip) the firmware file
Download Odin v3.10.6
Extract Odin ZIP file
Open Odin v.3.10.6
Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes
That will fix my radio problems?
Now to update my ROM. This is where I am mostly confused. In your opinion, should I stick with CM11 Nightly? Can I somehow go from nightly to a more stable version like cm11 snapshot m12? Should I update to CM12? Will my phone keep up with the CM12 ROM?

Sorry I will keep that in mind! Mind you, I carefully chose this and looked at all my other options. I didn't see the AT&T forum to fit because AT&T is in the United States and my carrier is in Canada, I just didn't want to have problems with anything else
Guys, I think i screwed up.... So when i downloaded that firmware from Sammobile. I flashed it with ODIN and made sure re-partition was not checked. Everything looked fine and when my phone rebooted (its still rebooting at the moment) the welcome screen was the default "samsung" splash screen, not the Cyanogen Mod . I thought this method was only going to flash the phone's modem, not the ROM too
EDIT:
No....my worst nightmare came true .........NO!!!!
So my phone finished rebooting and its just a black screen. All I can see is the status bar at the top right that displays the WiFi signal and the Phone's network signal and the battery. Okay so I figured something out. When the phone is locked and I press the Home button, Battery Doctor's charging wallscreen shows up, meaning my device wasn't wiped ? When I tried to unlock from Battery Doctor's charging screen, it would just show the black screen with just the status bar .... PLEASE HELP ME !!!
It flashes a complete ROM, which is part of the reason I mentioned making a backup. Now you'll need to root your S4 again, as I mentioned, install a custom recovery, and then you can install Cyanogenmod (12.1 recommended). By flashing the complete ROM it also ensures you have a clean slate from which to move forward. Now all the firmware pieces "match" and you avoid any odd effects by having a mismatched bootloader and baseband.

D'awww Well I guess a clean slate isn't so bad. I backed up my text messsages and my photo's should be backed up onto the google drive anyways. I don't know if you saw my edited post but the UI is not loading. Its just showing the status bar at the top right (signal, wifi signal, battery).
Thanks.
If you're going to install CM12.1 I wouldn't worry about Touchwiz not starting. Just go ahead and prep the phone for Cyanogenmod, as the most important parts - baseband and bootloader - are apparently working properly.
EDIT: ROM installs don't wipe data when done through Odin unless you tell Odin to partition the device. Thus you'd need a factory reset to ensure Touchwiz works. But where you're going to put Cyanogenmod on, don't worry about Touchwiz.

The problem is, I can't. There's nothing there on the phone. Its just a black screen. Unless, thats what you meant.
I tried searching for a CM 12.1 Canadian version and I found this thread. http://forum.cyanogenmod.org/topic/104233-jfltesgh-i337m/
apparently theres no canadian version of the CM 12.1
what should I do ?
Use the Optimized CM12.1 here in I9505 Original Android Development. It's supposed to work with all Qualcomm S4s except the Value Edition S4.
Oh, and you don't need CF-Autoroot. Simply install the recovery using Odin, then install Cyanogenmod. Wipe data and cache, then reboot. Everything should be back to normal about ten minutes after rebooting, as the ART compiler compiles the apps.

Thanks for the replies! I'm sorry if im asking for too much but could you please confirm that this is the right one? link
So, I don't need to root? how can i verify that my phone is still rooted? If my phone is still rooted, I download Canadian Galaxy S4 SGH-i337M (Bell, Rogers, Telus) – CWM Recovery v6.0.4.4
Then flash that with Odin ?
edit: I think I know why this failed miserably....On Odin V3.10.6 I clicked "AP" for some reason, when I was flashing the firmware. Could that be the problem? If so, is there a fix ? i can't access my phones SD card .
Right link, but Clockworkmod is not a good choice for a recovery to flash through Odin. Use TWRP instead as Clockworkmod is no longer updated.
Cyanogenmod is pre-rooted, though until you open the developer options in settings you can't access it. That's why you don't need to root beforehand. There is no harm however if you choose to root anyway before installing.
Clicking Odin like that shouldn't do anything. But where you've encountered problems, read the instructions here to wipe the storage. Then install the stock ROM again through Odin to see if that resolves the problem.
i just installed cm-12.1-20150625-NIGHTLY-jfltexx on my s4 with cm-12.1-20150623-NIGHTLY-jfltexx but there is a problem with the phone functions. It can't make any call. .it do not find my sim card!! Same thing with cm-12.1-20150624-NIGHTLY . The last one that works is 20150623 . Is there anyone that can confirm my problem?

I am following this:
Code:
TWRP Recovery v2.8.7.0 is suggested for installation
First time or clean install:
Download the ROM from the link above
Download GApps package for Lollipop 5.1
Put the zip files on your SDCard
Reboot in Recovery
Wipe Data / Factory Reset
Optional: convert to F2FS
Select "Install zip from SDCard"
Choose ROM's zip file
Choose GApps zip file
Reboot system
Unfortunately, I am stuck though. I can't put the zip files in my phone because my phone is semi-bricked. I can't access my SD card. I don't have another device that I could plug my SD card into, and I don't have an SD card reader either!
edit: sorry im really like uneasy right now and im thinking that I don't want to lose all my data, so i'm exploring a bit. I booted up CWM because I had a backup made from there. I saw the backup, but when I tried to restore it, it said "MD5 Mismatch" is there ANY way I could get that backup of mine to restore? I would have a peace of mind and then we can restart this process from there.

I assume your model is i337M. Check it in download mode. If that's the case, then follow this.
1. Flash this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-att/general/sgh-i337m-canadian-stock-official-t3082758
2. Flash TWRP
3. Flash the rom you want.
That's all. You are making it to difficult.

So step 1 and 2 flash that with Odin? Do I wipe or no? If i decide not to wipe, will i still have my old stuff from my phone back?
I am confused with step 3. How do I flash the ROM? Using ODIN? Or TWRP? If its through TWRP, how do I get the ROM in my SD card?

Flashing CM is easy. It doesn't require root access because this phone has no bootloader lock. Download a custom recovery with TAR file format, install drivers, go to the download mode of your phone, connect your phone to your computer, and use Odin to flash the recovery. Then copy CM zip file to a SD card and flash it in recovery. That's all!?
For recovery I recommend TWRP: teamw.in
If you've installed Kies you should have drivers on your computer. Otherwise install Kies or only drivers if you can find them on Samsung official website.

Try redownloading the .zip file. Maybe it's corrupt.
So after trying to install the ROM in TWRP and failing. I couldn't load up the phone anymore, it got stuck at the Samsung Logo screen. I am now re-flashing I337MVLUGOC4 - 5.0.1 Lollipop.
edit:
So at the moment, my phone is working fine on stock rom. I redownloaded the CM-12.1 optimized. I moved it into my SD card. I need to know if there are certain steps I need to do to get this right. These are the steps I took the first time.
Rebooted into TWRP recovery mode, then clicked install then I navigated to the CM-12.1 ROM zip and swiped to install.
Was I supposed to wipe anything? The only time I wiped(the default wipe in twrp) was after I installed the 5.0.1 Lollipop firmware. By the way, i noticed that my phone's internal memory is almost full, it only has 2GB of 9.69GB left in the internal. I checked it out and all my old files were still there!

@MichalPlays Try using Odin 307.
downgrade Samsung s4 [GT-I9505] from Lolipop 5.0.1 to kitkat 4.4.2
Please read the entire post and don’t skip any steps, note that we cannot be blamed in case something goes wrong and you brick the phone.
1)-Make sure that your phone version is GT-I9505 (if you don't know how to check ; remove your battery then you will find)
2)-Download[/B] " SAMSUNG USB Driver for Mobile Phones" and setup, if you dont have it already
-Download Odin3-v3.09
-Download "PDA" ; "[email protected]" [1.52 GB]
-Download "BL" ; "Bootloader_GNK2.tar" [2.12 MB]
-Download "CP"; "Modem_GNK2_FULL.tar" [61.46 MB]
3)- your phone must be Charged 70% or more, and Rooted, if you have Samsung Kies; reboot your pc then end Kies from CPU (Ctrl + Alt + Supp).
4)-extract Odin and Start a program as an administrator then put only the PDA file which you've already downloaded and extracted before "([email protected])"
-Disable « Auto Reboot » and « Re-Partition »
-Enable « F. Reset Time » only
-Reboot your phone on Download Mode ( Power off the Phone completely, Press and hold Volume Down, Home and Power buttons, all at the same time.
Release the buttons only when the ‘Warning!!’ message appears.
Next, press Volume Up button to confirm that you wish to enter Download Mode.
Your device will now show a green Android with the ‘Downloading… Do not turn off target’ text listed under it.).
-Connect your device with your PC and check "Added Message" and « ID:COM » in Odin
-Start
5)-Once you have "PASS" Plug out your Phone, and Reboot again in "Download Mode",
-Reset Odin
-Enable « Auto Reboot »and « F. Reset Time » only
-Put « Bootloader_GNK2.tar » on "BL"
-Put « Modem_GNK2_FULL.tar » on "CP
-Plug in your Phone and check "Added Message" and « ID:COM » if it doesn't work; restart Odin.
-Start to Downgrade
6)-Once the Downgrade done, plug out your phone and Hard Reset ;
(Power off your phone completely. Boot it in Recovery Mode. Select the ‘wipe data/ factory reset’ option. Confirm process by selecting the ‘Yes — delete all user data’ option. Press Power to confirm process. Reboot the phone when the Hard Reset/ Factory Reset is completed).
7)-Enjoy...

oh, ok I will try this becasue I have this cyanogenmod .rar file on sd card and have also there an nandroid backup

Phone bricked for unknown reasons; ODIN flash operation failed - What to do?

Good evening,
for unknown reasons my phone (Unbranded Samsung Galaxy S4) started to show weird signs of system failures. It kept restarting and hanging on the boot screen; often rapidly changed the battery percentages and then crashed. A day after these weird errors appeared the phone suddenly refused to boot at all. The boot process stopped at the Samsung logo and completely froze.
So I tried booting into recovery... But it didnt work? Sometimes it simply rebooted after showing "Recovery booting..." in the top left side of the screen and sometimes it displayed an red error showing "No command". On the 15th try or so it suddenly showed a kernel error instead:
"SET WARRENTY BIT: KERNEL"
Instead of using recovery mode I instead booted into Odin mode, where to my surprise I found that the current binary was no longer the official Samsung one, but a custom one. I decided on downloading stock firmware from the Samsung database and flashing it with Odin v3.11.
Name of the used firmware pack: " I9505XXUHOJ2 [5.0.1]"
I put it into Odin mode and then applied the firmware md5 file under AP in Odin 3.11 and it started working. Flashing the image was successful until half through the system.img.ext4 part where after half of the operation it suddenly failed and disconnected. Recovery.img and so on, however, was flashed successfully. I rebooted it into Odin mode, where the binary was now "Samsung Official" and retried the procedure.
This time it failed instantly. Shortly after starting the operation Odin said it could not open the specified file and the operation was aborted. The phone is now stuck in a "Firmware Update Failed - Use Kies Recovery" bootloop that remains even when I turn the phone off. (It simply turns back on again)
Is the phone screwed now? Re-Partioning was unchecked so I don't know if the partition table was ruined or not.
Does anyone have an idea?
Info shown after operation in Odin mode:
PRODUCT NAME: GT-I9505
CURRENT BINARY: SAMSUNG OFFICIAL [CUSTOM before operation]
SYSTEM STATUS: OFFICIAL
KNOX KERNEL LOCK: 0x0
KNOX WARRENTY VOID: 0x1
CSB-CONFIG-LSB: 0x30
WRITE PROTECTION: ENABLED
eMMC BURST MODE: ENABLED
I can't even turn off the phone now :victory:
No customization has occured on this phone. I have never used any custom roms or custom kernels. It simply started doing weird stuff on its own.
maybe hardware faulty? NAND corrupt?
Perhaps try flashing TWRP until it's successful, and then use it to flash the framework file(s) you've placed on the SD (use another phone for this end, or an mSDcard adapter that comes with the SD (most laptops have a slot for this). This does away with many underlying assumptions, like the soundness of the cable, port, laptop/pc, and flashing software.
First just charge the battery until it's full.

Seems like a potential security threat. Are you sure you haven't rooted your phone somehow?
Btw, if the partition is indeed ruined, use TWRP to make a backup of the phone (even if there's nothing to backup). It'll restore the partition table. Then proceed to flash the framework from the SD via TWRP.

Before I read your post I tried flashing a 4.X software for GT-I9505, which was successful with ODIN.
Recovery still wont work, as it crashes the phone instantly. Booting normally got to the Samsung logo part and then froze.
Sometimes the phone shows very weird graphical glitches. It boots up with a green dotted screen and slowly turns brightness up to max. I think this might mean its hardware faulty.
Concerning the KNOX issue: The phone was never rooted nor modified. I have no idea how the system picked up a rooting process when there was none.
I'll try flashing TWRP... Atleast download mode still works even though everything else doesnt.
Thanks for your reply
EDIT: Flashed TWRP successfully but S4 is refusing to boot into recovery
following error is dísplayed:
RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING
SET WARRENTY BIT: RECOVERY

I LITERALLY had the EXACT same problem.
See the thread here for some ideas: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...oft-bricked-s4-gt-i9505-t3430921/post68024954
I didn't mention the green screen and glitching because I didn't see it as relevant.
Just happenstance that it worked eventually.
I flashed the framework and it was successfully, but the system still didn't boot. I tried flashing the framework after a couple of days of persistent failure as a last ditch effort, and it worked, surprisingly, and I cannot explain it fully. I had planned to put the framework on an SD card and use TWRP i.e. recovery to flash it. That's still the best method imo. Try flashing TWRP and doing just that! It should work if there isn't any hardware damage. By the way, I tried older versions of Odin (3.07) when the newer versions didn't work. Additionally, perhaps flashing more recent ROMs would be a better idea (5.0.1, 5.1.1 (if Samsung has bothered updating it to that point)).
Once TWRP ((((or CWM )))) is flashed successfully, boot into recovery mode and do a backup. This should automatically restore the partition table. Then flash the framework file/tar and reboot. If it doesn't work, try flashing different firmware versions (5.0.1, 5.1.1) using the older versions of Odin, say, if TWRP was flashed successfully but the phone still won't boot into recovery.
Alternately, maybe the battery is dying, but I doubt it. Be ABSOLUTELY sure the power button is in perfect condition. The Galaxy S3, S4, Note 4, have a terrible history with defective power buttons causing all sorts of problems.

Yeah... I flashed TWRP but got the
RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING
SET WARRENTY BIT: RECOVERY
stuff instead. Last time I tried flashing a 5.X rom ODIN failed halfwax through so
Then I flashed stock ROM again and it got to the Samsung logo with the jingle but it goddamn crashed again.
Booted into recovery (which suddenly worked) and deleted user data/ cache.
Now it doesnt do anything anymore lol?
Probably broken GPU or NAND corrupting itself every 2 sec.
I dunno.
Samsung should really fix their stuff.

Try a different USB port and/or cable.
Odin failures can happen when using incompatible USB cables and ports so try everything available.
