I'm stuck between either going for the 16GB or getting the charging dock (I presume it would be $50ish) with the 8GB.
What are you guys going for?

Extra space....can always buy a charger later. It's a lot harder to change your phone.
Extra space, I don't care in the slightest about the charging dock.
If you want a cheap wireless dock just get the HP Touchstone on amazon. It's going for around 5-10$. That way you can get BOTH!
If it's a choice, extra space, but I'm hoping to get both

And that would work with the Nexus 4?

Yep. It has Qi as its standard same goes for the Nexus 4.
Charging dock, because it looks cool, and you get bragging rights among your friends that own that "other" smartphone.
Extra space, the charging Spock can be purchased later, plus the touchstone might work.

Regards,
Too bad the lapdock isn't on sale yet!!
Grabbed myself a vehicle dock. Now if only the lapdock would get 80% off as well...
Confirmed. Just got a SMS from Bell (41102)
"Free Bell Msg: Motorola Atrix docking accessories up to 80% off while supplies last. Hurry to a Bell store or bell.ca/accessories"
It's too bad I have no use for the lapdock.
Crap, didn't see this post before I made mine.. Sorry...
I can confirm the prices as well... i took a screen shot of my cart before checked out..
Thanks!!! I grabbed the HD dock!!! yay!
nice, just ordered the car dock. thanks for the heads up.
Waiting on that lapdock. Any info if the price on that should drop soon? Something on the lines of the one ATT had.
I bought the car dock and standard dock from the stores today....however the car dock does not work for me....
I mean it charges but will not deliver audio over the usb or open the car home app when put in the dock.
Still investigating why though.
That y'all for finding such a good deal, but I tried all I could think and I can't find a way to get them to ship it to the states. Any ideas?

From the few reviews I've read, a case must be removed. This goes for the vehicle dock as well. This is quite inconvenient, so I'll have to pass on these otherwise hot deals.
Mine got bitten up by a dog. Anyone wanna sell me theirs? Thanks!

Have a spare, sent mine back twice and got a charger each time.
i have an extra one
Go buy a charging dock from Verizon. It includes a standard charger and they are on clearance right now for $9.97. Even if you don't use the dock it'd chapter than just buying the charger which for some reason is still $30. I also heard Staples had Xoom accessories on sale for super cheap.

ebay has plenty. I bought a non OEM one for $10 (they included a car chager as well). also bought an official moto one of ebay for $8 this past week as a backup.

I have one but it probably wouldn't be worth it to you by the time shipping costs are included. As stated, just go to a Verizon store and get one for 10 bucks.

I know the OP was able to grab what they needed from Verizon, but for others who may be looking, another option is the HD Speaker Dock. If you can FIND one, they're going for $20 new from Verizon as clearance (prolly to make room for the Xyboard accessories). I went in person to a VW store and lucked out, getting the last one they had. I don't think (not willing to try it) you can plug the more powerful power source straight into the Xoom itself as an alternative to using the dock, but I have to say having the HDMI port in the back of the dock and the speakers is pretty nice, at $20 a pop.
I picked up a couple at a local Staples for $1.50 each. I have one extra I don't really see using.
If you're local in central CT I'd happy to give it away to someone who would use it.

I am pretty sure that charger can be used with most every phone sold today and the sleeve should work nicely with any iPad
Charger $4.99 http://www.shopping.hp.com/store/pr...umpid=in_r329_personalization/browse3/PDP_PDP
Sleeve $1.99 http://www.shopping.hp.com/store/pr...umpid=in_r329_personalization/browse3/PDP_PDP
Case $4.99 http://www.shopping.hp.com/store/pr...umpid=in_r329_personalization/browse3/PDP_PDP
You mean I'm not stuck trickle charging for 5 hours to get my Touchpad to boot....
Bliss. Ordering one when I get home, for sure.

If you add it to your cart it will show $5.25 for shipping though. If you also click the "free shipping" it says its for order over $50.

bah! Very nice of HP to throw "free shipping" and not to specify the conditions until after you check out.
The charger is really nice for the Touchpad, I use it for everything microUSB. Its hard to find >1A USB chargers for a good price.
The cable it comes with is 5' and rubber coated, other chargers like my Motorola only ship with a 3' cable.
slickdeals rocks ...
Has anyone heard anything new on the wireless charging? Just wondering if we have to purchase that afterwards. Would love to have that feature

Wireless charging is included inside the phone. But it won't work without the wireless charging dock. Which is still not available. And no price has been announced yet either

Since the Nexus 4 uses Standard Qi wireless charging, I suggest going onto amazon and buying a Palm Touchstone wireless charger.
I am under the assumption the wireless orb originally made for this product will be extravagantly more expensive in comparison to the Palm Touchstone.
I ordered mine off Amazon for around $5.30 with shipping and tax and it arrived 3 business days later.

the Palm Touchstone wireless charger does not comply with the QI standard and therefore does not work with the nexus 4, as per:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33682933&postcount=105
I thought it won't work with the touchstone per androidcentral

I did the same thing with jumping the gun on some touchstones. Not a big deal as I'm doing the wireless charging palm mod to my Gnote 2. I also picked up the PowerMat 2 position with powercube on amazon for like $20 or something. I'ts QI compliant and should work with the nexus 4. If not I'm giving up lol

According to powermat's online chat tool person powermat's format is NOT qi compatible. Dont feel bad, I bought one of the powermat pads hoping it would work too and returned it already.
The LG 700 mat sold by verizon IS, along with energizer qi pads.

I think official products are there.
And this works, but a bit pricy:

As well as Nokia's set of new chargers, which also are pricy.

It's also ugly as sin.
After years with Apple, I have fully defected. No more iPhone, Airpods or Macbook.
What did you replace the macbook with? I've got the 16 inch model really like it!

The wife and kids use a new Dell Latitude at the house and I bought myself a Surface Pro 7. Love the Surface!!
I could never do that.
Have both and it sucks.
I will say the Surface Laptop 3 13" is a fine laptop. Probably the best non Apple laptop in its class. I have a Dell XPS 9370 and it's great EXCEPT the POS "Killer" wifi and unlike the 15" model, the card is soldered on so no swapping out with a stable Intel one!
I suggest selling the 45W charger or returning it because it has almost no impact on charging time in comparison to 25W. If you got it for free then you obviously don`t have to.
