Hi, as in the development of android on HTC Leo stopped some time ago, and installed the 2.3.5 version, which I have so far and performs very well, I have a basic question, is there a 4.2 ROM for HD2 JB that:
1 looks good
2 not crash
3 not slowing
4 operates smoothly, seamlessly
Some time ago I watched the youtube video of Android 3.0 on hd2 and scared ... work so badly ... all in all not surprised in the PDA has been a few years ...
i use translate ;p
have you looked in hd2 Android development section ,there are quit a few I'm using pac man rom its a nice an fast 4.1.2 jellybean an I love it most jellybean roms are work in progress but in my opinion worth using i wouldn't say development has stopped at all. check it out just read an follow directions.

Android 4.2??....tell me one phone which has it today...the only phone which is going to have it soon is nexus 4 launching on November 13...and you want it today in hd2???
You are a joker my friend...only very very few phones still have 4.1.2...and the hd2 has it..try the Pac man Rom and try native sd Rom versions to see what actually is called development
Sent from my HTC HD2 using Tapatalk 2
No phones have 4.2 yet, and there aren't any Honeycomb ROMs on the HD2 either. Troll somewhere else please
Guys i think he ment jellybean 4.1.2

The fact that I made a mistake does not mean that you have to hate and troll me, I meant 4.1.2 Jelly Bean ...
IMHO there are very fiew phones that have development as strong as HD2 has

Szpadyor.. no one is hating or trolling you.. your question was incorrect had this had to happen since people are waiting eagerlyyyyy for even ALPHA releases of 4.2 on legendary HD2
check out the development section.. there are lots of JB Roms.. Give few of them try.. Most are stable..

OK I honestly don't see the point of your posting now. You're just bringing up old threads relating to JB 4.2 on the HD2 and posting in them for no apparent reason, seeing as you don't even need 10 posts.

Yeah, kind of. All you're doing is bringing up threads that people are no longer concerned with for no valid reason. It's nice that you're trying to help but this isn't the way to go about it.
Did some tests trying to boot 4.2 but it doesn't boot.logcat gives netd 1.0 loading
We will have to wait for a new kernel to support 4.2 that's all i can say from the logcat

Which just proves you're not observant. Yes, there are a lot of sense builds because they add extra features plus can be disabled easily for basic stock experience but there are cyanogen and stock builds out there if you LOOK. Hell, I was just at one, which is why I remembered to come back here. Don't be upset because I chose to answer you in the same simple way you asked. It's not my fault you don't see what's in front of you. Now browse. Finding new fun builds that fit our specific needs is why we're here, is it not?
ya they pretty much dont care about vanilla froyo and those that do are either old or autobuild , or are restricted to certain outdated kernels ... also cuz of this reason most cm versions will have touch screen lag issues and all the goodies that come with that , so basically if ya want a decent vanilla froyo experience hd2 isnt for u

Thank you for a coherent answer. Thats what I was starting to see about froyo. I have been updating my HyperDroid on my own but seem to have met my technical limit and am considering switching. Everything is great with it, but I'm considering whether or not I want the new camera. Another round of decisions I guess.

The XDA application does not seem allow us to see response/reply titles. Only original post titles. So I never saw your first No answer. I apologize and thanks for your response. I was looking for an quick opinion from fellow users and I certainly was not asking anyone to go do research for me.
I don't know if you have noticed but over the last few months folks have really gotten a bit over the top with the sarcasm in response to questions, almost to the point where it is insulting in some cases. I have seen this more and more. My initial thought when reading your reply WITHOUT the title line was here was more sarcasm. So again, I apologize and thanks for your response.

There was definite sarcasm, so I can apologize for that. Not at the level of some of the other people here get to. People have been getting extremely venomous and I was just trying to do a quick chuckle thing. Anyway, you should expect to see a lot more stock android builds soon because I'm sure there will be a flood of gingerbread options over the next few days.
Its been done
apreichner has cracked it and booted it on the NS... Exciting times guys)))
Nothing works at the moment but its a great base, wander over to the Dev section and check the sense think tank page out.
Big big thanks to apreichner)

Now its booting it will be a matter of getting the kernel right, when that's right upgrading that to 3.0 should be a relative doddle

that'll show them! (them being the people who said dev is dead)
i certainly don't think dev is dead at all.. its just Gingerbread is still in its early stages and honestly.. not many things need to be changed at all. most ROMs on various phone forums are just themed versions of the same ROM.

Write again in new thread, maybe this time they will add Mike to CM 7 team, and our device to official CM7 list.
i updated my thread, also everyone, please share that thread everywhere you can, we need as much support as possible, we need to get attention
BUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
on cm forum some moderator asked to call some dev's to leave replay i asked mike and he sad :
Michał Gapinski
I don't want to do it
TBH, CyanogenMOD team seems to be a bunch of HTC fanboys.
I have contacted them via CM forums a year ago and none of the admins replied
Im kinda agree with what the mod said, our phone is kinda oldie, most of us are thinking on changin our phones this year! or anything! + we got plenty of stable roms that we can actually use as daily and main ones, all we need is developers, not the CM team support as well! And im not saying I disagree, cause i'd love the CM support, more complete roms or anything, but its a waste of time and maybe resources for a phone thats obsolete, plus, we're actually thinking on changing (must of us) even if we love it (I do love it)! Instead of asking CM support we should find dev's or learn and practice with it
not to burst ur bubble but they already said no to mike

yes p500 got it because they have more users & devs and official 2.3
Really, GT540 will be dead soon I think. Mike got new Xperia NeoV, pcfighter don't release anything now too, Mur4ik left long time ago, Wingrime is still active, but releases are just from time to time, something still need to be done. DevSwift has Desire S, so Swift is his 2nd phone, which he don't care about that much.
Many others also changed phone, swift became less active than like 2-3 months ago.
Well, I'm currently trying to develop, and if I can get my fastboot to work, I'm going to make ROM's, so there is hope I'm trying to port a ROM from the p500, you may guess which one!

Till now we all know that Android 4.1 Jellybeans is in slot now. Even SDK is out. Sources are not on-line though. But I believe it will be very soon.
Now it's a big question whether HTC HD2 can hold Jellybeans or not? As fas as information on net concern Yes we can see JellyBeans on our beloved HD2. As drivers are almost same so it wont be a big problem to port it in our phone. With only 5-6 major changes JB is almost same as ICS. Some new features are there in JB like Google NOW, Off-line voice text is very cool about JB.
So in short we will see JB as soon as they release source codes.
If you find anything interesting you guys can post here so that we can have faith that HD2 will have JB.
Happy Hacking.
A dump of 4.1 has alreaady been posted on the NAND Thread, about 5 hours before your post, so shouldn't be too long to see if it can be ported.
I will still stick with GB but I'm willing to try JB. I hope they have the fix for Netflix. ICS still have some problem.
No it doesn't, it's pretty much perfect. I personally have no flaws in my day-to-day ICS usage.

have to agree with you there
and the tytung ics rom is freaking awesome
Don't get me wrong. I love Tytung's work as well. I flashed 4.04 just few hours ago because Netflix has a new update. I thought it will solve the problem and keep me from using ICS for good but still Netflix won't cooperate.
Really quite disappointed jellybean is only a slightly tweaked version of ics.. was expecting a fresh os.. nevertheless I simply cannot wait for a jb rom to pop up

Yes it is indeed. But few of the features are seems to be awesome. What I am exiting about is New google play an google now.
But if you think about it, the whole project butter thing will make the OS feel like something new. I simply cannot wait for it to be available on our devices

Very Nice Rom I Tried it now for 5 days its very stable :fingers-crossed:
It would be really nice for people to know what roms are most popular. If a person asks which is the best rom people tear him down with 'Its personal choice. No one rom is perfect. Try on ur own and so on'
Here I ask u to feel free to post the rom you are currently using so that people like me get an idea.

their own site lacks information and updates though - since everything seems to be going on here..
