If things hold true, we'll be looking at a price point somewhere around $149 for upgrades and new service.
Colors will be: Black, Cyan, Yellow, White, and Red
I know as a Microsoft Employee, I am hoping there will be additional incentives for early adopters as there is no word on when we will be getting our free phones at this time.

In anyone here a resident of UK and knows as to when Xperia will be available there? (may it be on contract or without contract)
I ask 'cos my cousin is coming here next week and i'm thinking of asking him to purchase it for me. Would be better than waiting for it to arrive here God knows when.

Expansys is claiming first stock of Black on the 29th and Silver on the 30th
And both play.com and mobilefun saying 1st november and both considerably cheaper than Expansys too.

Ok expansys price is over the limits, but I believe that when it reaches the release date the price will drop to the competition levels.

And the o2 tariffs at mobiles.co.uk seem the best value, especially the £35 per month option (you reduce the tariff after 9 months)
At mobiles.co.uk, it seems to me that the best value is the £45 Tariff. It works out at £630 in total (same as £35 tariff) with the 8 months half price option, the phone is free, plus you get more included minutes. So, it's cheaper & better... as long as you remember to claim the half-price line rental along the way.
Not sure what O2's data is like though, so may look to T-mobile.
Argh typical, I just get my TMobile compact IV....today and mobiles.co.uk annouce that. My other contract was up on 25th so I needed a phone, I could have waited till 27th....but then again I got my phone on a 12 month contract which works out nicer plus I got £100 cashback so even better.....that kinda sooths the pain

VodaFone had a delivery of X1's this afternoon no idea how many are left but retentions were calling those of us that had expressed interest. Mine will be with me on Monday and i have read elsewhere that CPW also had a delivery but were fulfilling peoples pre orders first.

I was wondering if Dell usually has any kind of deals on Black Friday or Cyber Monday. Trying to see if I should wait and see if I can get a discount, or just buy it when it releases.
It's kind of like leasing an apartment...when there are no vacancies, why give extra incentives?!
I would highly doubt that they will discount a phone that can't be kept in stock. Margins on these things are slim as it is...

I didn't see this mentioned anywhere yet, but the Galaxy S3 is up for preorder at Sprint.
$200 for the 16GB model and $250 for the 32GB, both in blue or white and with 2 year agreement ($550/$600 w/o contract).

I just finished pre-ordering mine!! I'm excited! I hope my area allows for early delivery. Also in case anyone else here knows more about this, how early can we expect a pre-order? They say they will try to get it delivered before June 21 but how early are we looking at? Maybe a week?

I preordered my own, the 32GB Pebble Blue model. I am very excited however I wouldn't expect the phone any earlier than June 21. Sprint says they will try to get it here earlier but at most "earlier" probably means a couple of days.
There is a big "customer event" in Boston on June 12th to officially announce this phone and give people hand's on with it (along with other Sprint related tech & info). I signed up to go but I don't know if I will since all I am interested in is this phone and I already have it pre-ordered
As a side note, I don't know how everyone feels about cases but I absolutely love TPU cases on my phones. Not only do they protect great but they also increase grip and don't add noticeable bulk. I found an eBay seller that has black matte TPU cases for $3. Hopefully it arrives before my phone does

I haven't been this excited about a phone either since the iPhone 4! I pre ordered it the first day that sprint put it up for pre order, i think it was Monday... Anyways, the sales rep that took my order told me that at the end of the sale she would tell me what day her system is giving her that i would receive the phone, she said it would be the 8th, which now, its tomorrow! I have been clicking on the Check the status of your order page at least 4 times per day just to see if they put a tracking number on it yet, but no luck!

So rumors are showing that the Galaxy Note II should be releasing on the American carriers in just over a month. I suspect prices will probably be $250 like the Note was with a new contract, but does anyone think that prices will be lower come Black Friday? I haven't shopped for cell phones on Black Friday before, so I don't know if phone prices have fallen before in the past on that day.

I checked last year and year prior In my area and nothing "new" or high profile was marked down. Just a few mid range phones

I bought my Droid X on Black Friday 2 years ago. I got $100 off at Target on an unadvertized special. Price with contract extension: $99. Costo had advertized $100 off but since I went to Target first I didn't need to fight crowds at Costco! The Verizon store did NOT have a reduced price for the Droid X (relatively new at the time) for Black Friday. BTW 3 months later Costo was sellng the Droid X for $50. I hope to get a deal on the Note II on Black Friday--but not at the Verizon store!
Honestly, like its been mentioned...I'm not so sure that the deals will be that much better than the original pricing...I only say this because the device is rumored to be released so close to black Friday, that I'm not sure we will see too many places offering the device with a decent price cut. You may save a few bucks, but is it worth the wait? I'm not so sure lol
I'm probably going to buy it off-contract whenever it is released in the states. Odds are there will not be any sales for retail price on it during Black Friday sales. So I don't think it's worth it to wait if you're buying it off contract.

I'm with you on this. Unless hell freezes over and tmobile offers it for next to nothing on contract I will just pay retail.

The sign says preorder today, nothing on their website though. It would be nice to know their contract and off-contract prices so if anyone hears anything please report. I'm almost half way through my 2yr contract with my Sprint EVO LTE so correct me if I'm wrong but I believe I have to buy off-contract. I might consider buying from BB and buying their buyback deal where they give you more for your phone when you upgrade.

i read somewhere that Best Buy employees were advised to take down that Pre Order sign because they aren't doing them yet...
If they are getting all this promo stuff in then the pre-orders should start either this week or next week.. i don't see them accepting pre-orders for only 2 days then releasing a device..
i highly doubt AT&T will release the HTC One the same day they are releasing the Blackberry Z10 on March 22nd.. knowing how bad blackberry needs attention
