Hey guys i am facing a problem in headset galaxy y.
Whenever i got a call with headset on, i am unable to answer.
If i press once the button of headset, the call will be disconnected.
Please help me with this problem.

For me, it works perfectly.
Do you have DSP Manager installed? That might be a reason as it's settings of the headset might affect an incoming call.

Check whether there are any options for headset in its settings.

It was having 'override the headset settings'.
Now disabled it.
Hope it might work.

Is it not possible to send music from the stock music player app anymore? I can't S-beam songs to other devices like I would with the s3. When pressing the menu button on the s3 or long pressing on a song a share button would appear which would let me send music, now I get "share music" which launches group play and just let's you play it on another device... only sharing method is via Bluetooth but I want the functionality back to send music via sbeam with the stock music app as it was a feature I used a lot as all my friends and family have s3's..please let me know if I am wrong. I know I can go through a file manager and send a song like that but I'd prefer to do it from the music app as everything is organized

I have installed some third party application for headset controllers but its not working.
I have installed evolution x3 custom rom.

Use a 3rd party app like TTPod..it allows headset controls..

I have installed megabass plugins...which is working with only standard application(music.apk).
I have tried other application but default music player is awesome in term of voice and volume.
There are apps on playstore like headset button controller
note on most headsets only the middle button can be programmed unless it's specifically made for android
you can programme it to goto next track on long press
you will need a music app that can accept headset button override

download sensor music player
it will help u control phone from sensor
Just download walkman ics/rainbow apk for galaxy y then download beats sound booster or dsp manager apk use root explorer push the apk to system/app set permission

Viper4android doesn't work with Poweramp. I have selected it in Music Effects settings and disabled direct volume control in advance tweaks in Poweramp settings, it doesn't even work with Playerpro. Help, please!

Use viper4android Xhifi works for poweramp, well does for me
go to power amp's setting and Disable music engine or effect or something like that..Now,I didn't use poweramp and so can't remember exactly.

settings > audio >advanced = uncheck first option, check MusicFX
in the player, between balance and stero x/volume, enable the MusicFX button, then long press that button.

thanks ,it works,but still with google music player still sound better i guess it google music player from now on

I use PowerAMP for my music. In the equalizer/tone settings, there is a MusicFX button - press-n-hold will open the phones 'global' built-in audio effects.
I'd image you could also use something like Nova Launcher with adding an action/app shortcut from the widget drawer and selecting the AudioFX app/settings.
